Yet another super-expensive video game statue is on the way. This one stands nearly three feet tall and is based on the Hunter, the playable character from Bloodborne.

Designed by Prime 1 Studio, the statue pictured below is specifically based on Bloodborne's DLC expansion, The Old Hunters. It stands 32 inches (about 81 cm) tall and is priced at $800.

The statue comes with an interchangeable street lamp and pillar, as well as two different right hands, each with a different weapon: one holding a Saw Cleaver, and one holding a Hunter Axe. An exclusive edition also features a third right hand option, which is equipped with the Theaded Cane weapon.

As is always the case with these premium, high-end statues, availability is limited. Only 2,000 of the regular edition and 1,250 of the exclusive version will be produced, according to Prime 1's Facebook page. The exclusive edition is available from Sideshow Collectibles and lists an estimated release window of July-September of 2018. It's available for preorder now.

This isn't the first high-end Bloodborne statue we've seen. The Hunter has been featured in a few other statues in the $200-$300 range, while Prime 1 has also designed a $600 version of Lady Maria that's also due out in 2018.

Xbox One S Now Offers 4K Streaming Through Amazon's Video App

By Anonymous on May 21, 2017 08:13 pm

While it can't play games in 4K, the Xbox One S does offer 4K media playback. As of a recent update, that includes content played through the Amazon Video app.

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One's Amazon Video app has been updated to enable 4K support. This functionality is only available on the Xbox One S, given that the standard Xbox One doesn't support 4K output.

Of course, not everything in the Amazon Video app is necessarily available in 4K. Among the things that do support 4K are Amazon-produced shows like The Man in the High Castle, Bosch, Sneaky Pete, and Top Gear successor The Grand Tour.

Amazon's Xbox One app joins existing ones such as Netflix and Hulu, both of which already offered 4K playback support on Xbox One S. If you have the Amazon Video app installed, it should automatically update to add 4K support. If you don't, you can grab it for free on the Xbox Store and sign up for a 30-day trial that allows you to access Amazon's video library.

In a blog post, Telltale describes it as the "most tailored episode to date," given that you'll be working with all of the decisions you've made throughout the previous four episodes. At some point during the coming week, Telltale plans to release both a gameplay trailer and a video featuring some of the developers discussing the episode. Stay tuned to GameSpot for a look at those.

Next Terminator Movie Will Happen, Arnold Schwarzenegger Says

By Anonymous on May 21, 2017 02:34 pm

There has been much uncertainty about the future of the Terminator franchise, following the commercial disappointment of 2015's Terminator: Genisys. Now original star Arnold Schwarzenegger has weighed in on the subject, and has stated that the series will continue.

Speaking to Screen Daily from the Cannes Film Festival, Schwarzenegger confirmed that he had met with James Cameron, who created the series and directed the first two movies. "It is back," he said. "It is moving forward. [Cameron] has some good ideas of how to continue with the franchise. I will be in the movie."

The rights to the entire franchise revert back to Cameron in 2019, and Schwarzenegger's comments imply that the director will become involved in its future direction.

However, Cameron is about to start production on the Avatar sequels, so it is highly unlikely he will direct another Terminator. Earlier this year, was rumoured that Deadpool director Tim Miller was in the running to helm the next Terminator film, but there has been no further news about this.

In March, it was reported that Paramount, who currently own the property, were not moving ahead with more movies and that the Genysis sequel has been removed entirely from the studio's development slate.

Terminator: Genisys was originally intended to be the first part of a new trilogy. Paramount had scheduled the next two movies for summer 2017 and 2018 releases respectively and was planning to shoot back-to-back. However, they were subsequently removed from the release slate. Genisys made $440 million at the worldwide box office, with a domestic take of only $90 million.
