There are a lot of characters appearing in the upcoming crossover fighting game Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite. With so many to keep track of, we've compiled all the fighters that have been confirmed so far. Click ahead to see all the confirmed Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite characters. Be sure to check back often as we update this article with more characters as they get announced. Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is set to launch on September 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Black Panther is a warrior king of a fictional African nation known as Wakanda. He's a part of a long lineage of royalty, serving as the heir to the Wakandan throne and the Black Panther mantle, a title given only to the chief of the Wakandan Panther tribe. Captain America
Captain America, aka Steve Rogers, is the leader of the Avengers. He wields a shield made out of vibranium--the strongest metal in the Marvel universe. His super-human strength makes him a formidable foe, but it's his leadership skills that put him above the rest. Captain Marvel

Doctor Strange is a former surgeon turned sorcerer after an elderly man known as the Ancient One teaches him how to tap into his innate mystical powers. He strives to protect the world from antagonistic mystical forces. Dormammu
Dormammu is the Ruler of the Dark Dimension. He's a being of immense mystical power that strives to conquer other universes and dimensions. This dark ambition has made him a recurring enemy of Doctor Strange. Gamora
Gamora is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a group of heroes committed to fighting the countless villains of the cosmic universe. She's a former assassin and servant of Thanos. However, when she learned her benefactor was aiming to sacrifice the universe to a dark entity known as Death, she rebelled and joined the forces of good. Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider aka Johnny Blaze is a stunt motorcyclist who agreed to give his soul to an arch-demon in order to cure his father of cancer. The resulting pact caused Blaze's flesh to become consumed by hellfire at night, turning his head into a flaming skull. Hawkeye
Hawkeye, aka Clint Barton, is the sharpshooter of the Avengers. He brandishes a tactical bow and an arsenal of customized "trick arrows" that he uses to fight against a variety of foes. Hulk
The Hulk is a rampaging green-skinned behemoth possessing incredible physical strength. His alter ego is Bruce Banner, a physically weak and reserved physicist. Both exist as separate personalities residing inside the same body. Iron Man
Marvel's poster boy Iron Man returns to the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite roster. His origin story needs no introduction; though, if you're painfully unaware, he's a billionaire playboy turned superhero after suffering a severe chest injury during a kidnapping, which forces him to build a powered suit of armor to save his life and escape captivity. Nova is a member of an intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps, which imbued him with superhuman abilities, like heightened strength, flight, and energy absorption and redirection. Rocket Raccoon
Rocket Raccoon is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a superhero team that operates primarily in the cosmic sector of the Marvel universe. He's the product of a scientific experiment that genetically modified animals to grant them human level intelligence and bipedal body construction. He's an expert tactician and a gifted marksman. Spider-Man
Spider-Man is a teenaged superhero that gained spider-like abilities after being bitten by a spider that had been irradiated by a particle accelerator. He lives a double-life, often struggling to balance his life as a teenager and crime fighter. Thanos
Thanos is a powerful, cosmic warlord who wishes to destroy the universe in order to impress his love, Mistress Death, who is the physical embodiment of death itself. Thor
Thor is the Asgardian God of thunder. His powerful hammer--the Mjolnir--grants him the gift of flight and weather manipulation amongst other godly abilities. He fights to ward off threats against the Nine Realms. Ultron
Ultron is a powerful robotic being built by Hank Pym aka Ant-Man. He was once a loyal AI, but his programmed sentience fueled contempt in him, causing Ultron to rebel against his maker. Arthur
Arthur is the main character of the infamously difficult Ghosts 'n Goblins series. He's a brave knight that continually works to vanquish demons and threats to his kingdom. Chris Redfield
Chris Redfield is one of the main protagonists in the Resident Evil universe. After a traumatic experience surviving the threat of biological weapons in a remote Mansion in the outskirts of Raccoon City, he has committed his life to helping end the threat of biological terrorism. Chun-Li
Chun-Li is a master of Chinese martial arts and has a longstanding career in law enforcement. She has a strong sense of justice, always seeking opportunities to eliminate evil and corruption. Dante
Dante is a demon hunter and paranormal detective committed to exterminating the threat of supernatural forces. Firebrand
Firebrand is a type of gargoyle known as a Red Arremer. He's an elite warrior that fights to protect his home, the Demon Village. Die-hard Capcom fans will recognize him from both the Ghosts n' Goblins and Gargoyle's Quest series. Frank West
Frank West is a famed freelance photographer and photojournalist turned zombie hunter. He's always yearning to get his hands on the next big scoop to further his career. Jedah Dohma
Jedah Dohma is one of the major antagonists of the Darkstalkers series. He is a powerful demon that seeks to restore order to the demonic dimension of Makai by any means possible. Mega Man X
Mega Man X is a robot that's a part of military task force known the Maverick Hunters, who hunt down robots that have given in to destructive, criminal tendencies. He is the successor to the original Mega Man model built by legendary robotics expert, Dr. Light. Mike Haggar
Mike Haggar is mayor of Metro City and one of the main protagonists of the Final Fight series. He was once a professional wrestler, but his strong sense of justice eventually lead him towards a career in politics. Morrigan Aensland
Morrigan Aensland is a powerful succubus who lives for little more than the excitement of battle. While she's rather conceited and vain, Morrigan isn't as evil as the other demons of the Makai realm, which is where she calls home. As a result, she is often considered an anti-hero. Nathan Spencer
Nathan Spencer was initially a member of the armed forces, but his military career was cut short when he lost his left arm to an explosion. While on rehabilitation leave, he agreed to become the first test subject for the army's developing bionics technology, which allowed him to obtain his now iconic robotic grapple-hook arm. Nemesis
Nemesis is the major antagonist of Resident Evil 3. It is an experimental bio-weapon created by the Umbrella to prove that a t-Virus infected creature could retain most of its intelligence and follow specific orders. During its deployment, its task was to eliminate all surviving members of S.T.A.R.S., a police task force that learned the truth behind Umbrella's underhanded experiments. Ryu

Sigma is the nemesis of Mega Man X. He was once the leader of the Maverick Hunters; however, he became infected by the Maverick Virus, which caused him to turn into a maniacal villain. Zero
Like Mega Man X, Zero is a part of the military task force known the Maverick Hunters. Alongside X, he fights to rid the world of robotic threats against humanity. He was created by evil scientist and primary antagonist of the original Mega Man series, Dr. Wily.
