Final Fantasy 15 PC Demo Is Out Now

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 11:59 pm

PC owners eager to finally get their hands on Final Fantasy XV will have an opportunity to try out the game today. As promised, Square Enix will release a demo of the upcoming Windows Edition that offers a taste of the full experience.

The demo will be available through several different platforms--you'll be able to download it from Steam, Origin, and the Microsoft Store. As of this writing, the demo has not yet gone live, but we'll report back once it's available. A download size has not been announced. [Update: The demo is out now and weighs in at 21 GB, and the game's 4K textures are included by default. You can grab it on Steam, Origin, or the Microsoft Store.]

Just how much content is available in the demo is unclear. Square Enix said it consists of the tutorial and the "opening main quests," but just how many are included was not shared. Regardless, it should give you a sense of the game's combat and, perhaps more importantly, provide an ideal method for testing how well it runs on your computer. If you're interested in benchmarking, Square Enix has already released a tool for Final Fantasy XV to let you do just that.

Every Important New Black Panther Character (And Their Comics Origins)

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 11:30 pm

Nice to meet you.

With Black Panther, the MCU added an entire nation to its roster of characters, both superheroes and villains alike. That means you've now got a whole new list of names and faces to remember as we march every closer to the dawn of the highly anticipated Infinity War--and beyond.

But don't worry--we've got your back on this one. Here is a list of all the new characters Black Panther brings to the table, where they came from over in the comics, and what we can expect to see from them in the future.

Black Panther spoilers follow! Oh, and don't forget to check out our gallery of every character confirmed in Infinity War so far.

10. Shuri

Played by Letitia Wright, fan-favorite Shuri is the crown princess of Wakanda and a 16-year-old engineering genius responsible for her brother T'Challa's superhero gear as well as the tech that allows Wakanda to continue to harvest and refine Vibranium efficiently. Already confirmed to re-appear in Infinity War, Shuri is definitely a character to keep an eye on as the MCU marches forward.

Over in the comics, Shuri was introduced in 2005 in Black Panther #2. Her comics counterpart is older, but no less driven--though less by scientific pursuits and more by a passionate obsession with the Black Panther mantle, which she eventually took over when T'Challa found himself unable to carry out the job. She also became reigning Queen of Wakanda when T'Challa had to step down.

9. Okoye

The general of the Dora Milaje, the all-female royal guard-slash-special-forces squadron of Wakanda, Okoye (Danai Gurira) is a fearsome and fiercely loyal protector of both her king and her homeland. She values order, tradition, and routine above everything--even if that means putting her own life or the lives of people she loves at risk. Okoye can be seen again in Infinity War coming this May.

Comics Okoye was introduced along with the entire concept of the Dora Milaje in Black Panther #1 in 1998, and it's pretty easy to track where her live action inspiration came from. Though she had a much more minimized role in the comics, she is still one of the most loyal and called upon Dora in their introductory run.

8. Nakia

A War Dog spy and T'Challa's ex-girlfriend, Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) is a major force for change in Black Panther as a woman who has seen the struggles of the outside world and wants to help, even if it means tossing tradition and security aside. Nakia's relationship with T'Challa is complicated but ultimately positive--and one that may have some definite momentum moving forward in any future Black Panther sequels.

However, comics Nakia is a totally different story. Introduced in Black Panther #1 back in 1998, this Nakia was a member of the Dora Milaje who had an obsessive, one-sided infatuation with T'Challa that eventually spurred her to try and kill one of T'Challa's ex-lovers. And it didn't end there. Comics Nakia eventually joined forces with Erik Killmonger and became a villain known as Malice where she actively fought to destabilize Wakanda from the inside out.

7. W'Kabi

Daniel Kaluuya plays W'Kabi, T'Challa's close friend and a representative of the Border Tribes for T'Challa's council of advisors. He's shown to be quick to anger and extremely resentful of King T'Chaka's lack of direct action following Klaue's first attack, which apparently killed both of W'Kabi's parents. He's also in a romantic relationship with the staunchly traditional Okoye, despite the fact that he believes Wakanda invading the outside world and forgoing all isolation is the right path.

Comics W'Kabi is actually a bit of a deep cut. Introduced all the way back in Avengers #62 in 1969, W'Kabi was a largely low-level support character for the bulk of his time. He functioned as T'Challa's chief of security and was intensely distrustful of any outsiders, even ones T'Challa vouched for himself. He was killed in 2009 by a villain named Morlun.

6. Zuri

Zuri (Forest Whitaker) is a Wakandan shaman and former War Dog advisor to King T'Chaka. He played a critical role in the ceremonial process through which kings must go as they take on the role of Black Panther and tended directly to the garden of the heart-shaped herb. In the 90s, he was trusted by T'Chaka monitor and report on the king's brother while on his own War Dog assignment in Oakland, California. Zuri may not make it out of the film alive, but given his deep spiritual connection to the heart-shaped herb, and his almost fatherly relationship with T'Challa, you'd do well to remember who he is.

In the comics, Zuri had a similar if minimized role. Introduced in Black Panther #1 in 1998, Zuri was a close advisor to T'Chaka and later a friend and companion to T'Challa. He was killed alongside W'Kabi by Morlun in 2009.

5. Erik "Killmonger" Stevens

Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) has already generated a ton of buzz for being one of the MCU's best on-screen villains--and it's not at all hard to see why. He's charismatic, brutally efficient, and coming from a place that is both deeply personal and incredibly socially resonant. Unfortunately, the end of the movie means it's going to be next to impossible for us to see a Killmonger comeback. But his is still not a name you should forget.

In the comics, Killmonger had a slightly different origin. Introduced in Jungle Action #6 in 1973, Killmonger was still actually a Wakandan named N'Jadaka, but his anger and grief stemmed from the fact that his father--in this case not T'Chaka's brother--was forced to work with Klaw and then exiled by T'Challa.

4. Everett Ross

Technically Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) was introduced in the MCU back in Civil War, but this is the movie where he really became a character. A somewhat high strung skeptic and outsider, Ross's connections to the CIA and now to Wakanda's monarchy make him a potential runner for the MCU's next Phil Coulsen.

Like the Dora, Zuri, and Nakia, Ross was a product of Black Panther #1 in 1998 and he's pretty much an exact translation from page to screen--right down to his somewhat bumbling attempts to make sense of his position in the middle of Wakandan culture.

3. Ramonda

The queen mother of Wakanda, Ramonda (Angela Bassett) plays the part of both advisor and voice of reason for T'Challa in his most challenging moments during his first few days as king. And that's a role she's going to maintain, it would seem--Bassett has been confirmed to return in Infinity War this May.

In the comics, Ramonda came into play in Marvel Comics Presents #14 in 1989. She's actually not T'Challa's biological mother, but T'Chaka's second wife after T'Challa's birth mother, N'Yami, died while T'Challa was a baby.

2. M'Baku

Another breakaway fan favorite, Winston Duke's role as M'Baku has proven to be one of the most unexpected turns of Black Panther. The fearsome (and hilarious) leader of the traditionalist Jabari tribe, M'Baku takes his role as the leader of his people very seriously and is quick to cast off anyone who may threaten their way of life. M'Baku will be returning to the big screen in just a couple of months with the premier of Infinity War.

One of the things that make M'Baku's live action debut so surprising is his extremely problematic comics heritage. Introduced in Avengers #62 in 1969, M'Baku was a troubling racist caricature villain known as "Man-Ape" who wore a full body gorilla costume and campaigned for Wakanda to descend back into "primitivism" without the use of Vibranium. Obviously, his movie version is quite an improvement.

1. Ulysses Klaue

Like Ross, Klaue (Andy Serkis) is actually making his second MCU appearance in Black Panther--his first was a brief scene in Age of Ultron--but this is the movie where we actually got to learn something about him. In the MCU, he was an active villain in the early '90s--something that might actually come back into play with the upcoming Captain Marvel, which has already been confirmed to be set in the '90s. So, sure, modern Klaue may have unceremoniously bit the dust, but it's probably best to not count him out just yet.

Debuting in Fantastic Four #53 in 1966, the comics incarnation of Klaue is pretty much exactly what you'd expect after having seen Serkis on screen. The son of a nazi war criminal, Klaue's obsession with Wakanda was nurtured by his father at a young age. He was eventually responsible for assassinating T'Chaka himself, a role that fell to Zemo in the MCU.

Ronda Rousey Steals The Show At WWE Elimination Chamber

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 11:21 pm

The most memorable segment of Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view wasn't the women's Chamber match (which was fantastic) or the men's Chamber match (which was fun, but predictable). Instead, what everyone is talking about this morning is Ronda Rousey's WWE contract signing, which started typically but ended in internet-breaking chaos.

When Rousey made her first WWE appearance at January's Royal Rumble PPV, she took some flack for debuting immediately after the first women's Rumble match, thereby taking some thunder out of Asuka's historic victory. Rousey then spent several awkward minutes pointing at the WrestleMania sign, which became a meme for weeks afterwards. It was petty criticism, but there was no mistaking that the Rousey backlash had begun, from fans who thought that her appearance was an overbaked publicity ploy.

Sunday evening's contract signing segment at WWE Elimination Chamber had to refute this negative conception and accomplish three things:

  • To show Rousey could meld well into WWE's outsized world.
  • To show Rousey was taking her professional wrestling career seriously
  • To quell the rising backlash and get Rousey over as a babyface (hero)

By accomplishing these things, WWE could get the die-hard fans invested. After WrestleMania and once the shock and novelty wear off, Rousey will need them on her side, assuming that she wants a long WWE career.

WWE planted the seeds for this 'legitimizing' narrative on last Monday's Raw, when they released footage of Ronda Rousey training for her debut. They posted it on social media the same day, and they replayed the footage during Elimination Chamber, directly prior to her contract signing.

It's a sizzle reel with lots of cuts and close-ups, but it accomplishes its purpose--it shows that Rousey is training explicitly for in-ring performance. It appears that she's going for a blended style between scripted WWE sports entertainment and legitimate MMA, similar to what Brock Lesnar and Sonya Deville do.

When Rousey finally hit the ring Sunday evening, she had a disarming, sheepish smile on her face, and she received an enthusiastic, though mixed reaction from the crowd. She didn't have a particularly magnetic stage presence. And things got worse during her first promo. She seemed very nervous--her thoughts meandered a bit as she stumbled over her words, and the crowd's competing cheers and boos threw her off focus.

No Caption Provided

She said the right things. She wanted no special treatment, and she loved WWE (we later found out on Raw Talk that she changed in the same locker room with the rest of the women). She paid tribute to her inspiration, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. But her delivery of that message needed polish.

Then things got interesting. Near the end of the contract signing, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle spilled the beans, claiming that Stephanie referred to Rousey as "washed up" backstage. Some context: Rousey had capped her UFC career with two lopsided losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. And rather than ignoring the elephant in the room, WWE addressed it head-on. It was a perfect WWE storyline twist, leaving enough real-life events in the script so that fans could suspend their disbelief.

No Caption Provided

Instantly, Rousey's mood flipped like a switch. She took on a death scowl, and she backed Stephanie against the ropes. Her charisma and star presence, which was absent at the beginning of the segment, was now terrifyingly present.

And then, Rousey put Triple H through a table. Stephanie slapped Rousey across the face. And a red-eyed Rousey fixed her with a glare so hard that Stephanie went scurrying out of the ring. The crowd, now unified, cheered as Rousey signed her WWE contract, threw it on Triple H's body, and sauntered from the ring.

What can WWE learn from this segment? First, that Rousey, like Lesnar, is a purely physical storyteller. She may one day gain the mic skills to carry a feud, but that is not this day, and those skills will not materialize overnight. She needs to keep her words tightly scripted and to a bare minimum. Either that, or pair her with Paul Heyman--who will then have two 'legitimate' fighters under his wing--to do the talking for her.

Second, Rousey needs to stay angry. When she was smiling and laughing during her initial promo, the audience disconnected from her. But that was true in UFC too; Rousey's enduring appeal was based in her physical dominance, her trash talk, and her killer, take-no-prisoners attitude; oftentimes, she wouldn't even touch gloves with her opponents before fights. She was, in other words, willing to play the heel. Now that Rousey knows Stephanie is out to get her, fans shouldn't see Rousey's happy side again until after WrestleMania. She has a game face that could turn an opponent to stone, and she needs to use it more often.

Third, let Rousey show off more moves in the ring. Fans are excited, and they're going to tune in to Raw wanting to see more. Give them little teasers, even if they don't get a full, worked match. Let her do a lariat, chop someone in the corner, or put a Piper-esque sleeper hold on a foe. Keep things nice and simple. By performing basic, but painful-looking moves, she can look dangerous without being exposed as a beginner.

Based on last night's booking, a Triple H & Stephanie McMahon versus Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey mixed tag match appears to be in the cards for WrestleMania 34. And last night's messy contract signing was an excellent start towards building that feud. It's become intriguing. Now, WWE must make it must-see.

The Weinstein Company To File For Bankrupcy

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 11:03 pm

The Weinstein company is to file for bankruptcy. The embattled production company was left reeling following the accusations of sexual harassment and abuse levelled at co-chairman Harvey Weinstein last year. It has been seeking a purchaser since, but the most recent talks have collapsed.

The company's board of directors have now issued a statement following the failure of negotiations with an investor group. "While we recognize that this is an extremely unfortunate outcome for our employees, our creditors and any victims, the board has no choice but to pursue the only viable option to maximize the company's remaining value: an orderly bankruptcy process," the statement reads.

The LA Times reports that the failed deal was worth around $500 million and would have given the investment consortium control of the company's entire assets. The site states that the company was set to renamed under a new board of directors, "the majority of which would be composed of women." However, talks collapsed when the New York attorney general's office filed a civil rights lawsuit against the Weinstein company, alleging that senior executives failed to prevent the mistreatment of staff by Harvey Weinstein.

Weinstein was fired from the company in October, following a series of revelations published in the New York Times that he reportedly paid off sexual harassment accusers. Since then, many more former employees and colleagues have come forward with their own stories about Weinstein's alleged abuse.

One of the biggest names in Hollywood, Weinstein won the Best Picture Oscar for 1999's Shakespeare In Love and also picked up a nomination for 2003's Gangs of New York. Among his other producing credits included films like Pulp Fiction, The Aviator, and Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The New Demo For PS4's Yakuza 6 Is Huge

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 10:44 pm

Sega had some disappointing news to share earlier this year when it delayed Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, but it did make up for that by announcing that it would release a demo of the upcoming PS4 game. It's already begun to launch in some markets around the world where it's already February 27. If you're eager to start playing, you might want to call your ISP and upgrade your internet speed now.

While still dwarfed by the size of full games, for a demo, Yakuza 6's trial is enormous--it weighs in at 36.53 GB. It's available now on Australia's PlayStation Store and should be available as the calendar turns to Tuesday elsewhere around the world. The PSN listing describes the demo as consisting of the game's prologue. As a result, you can probably expect a fair number of cutscenes, which may explain the demo's large size.

Sega previously announced that your save data from the demo version can be carried over into the full game, which is now due out on April 17 in North America and Europe. That's almost a full month later than the previously scheduled March 20 release date. An explanation for the delay was not shared, with Sega simply stating, "This was a tough business decision we didn't make lightly."

Yakuza 6 has been available in Japan since December 2016. Western localizations of Yakuza games have typically taken a long time, as players of Yakuza 5--which released internationally three years after its Japanese launch--can attest. We recently got a good look at Yakuza 6 and its improved visuals, as you can see in the video above. For even more, check out our deep dive into the history of Yakuza.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman

Release Date: January 12

Genre: Interview

David Letterman returns in this new Netflix series that releases episodes monthly. The former Late Night host interviews people of note, which includes former President Barack Obama in Episode 1. The first season will consist of six episodes.

Somebody Feed Phil

Release Date: January 12

Genre: Travel/Food

Everyone Loves Raymond creator Philip Rosenthal's new Netflix series is essentially a revamped version of his PBS show I'll Have What Phil's Having. Rosenthal travels the world, eats food, and cracks jokes along the way.

Putting aside the fact that the intro music is the most annoying thing I've ever heard--and I used to listen to grindcore--Somebody Feed Phil is bland, unfunny, and feels pointless. There is no point-of-view or purpose. It's just a man travelling the world and eating. There's no catch nor anything that makes it enjoyable.

Drug Lords

Release Date: January 19

Genre: Documentary

Drug Lords documents the life and crimes of cartels and its kingpins. The series interviews those who fought against the cartels and others who were a part of the cartels themselves, which--at times--creates conflicting stories.

Genre: Sitcom

One Day At A Time--a reboot of the 1975 CBS series--follows a a United States Army Nurse Corps who separates from her husband to raise her kids with her mother.

Altered Carbon

Release Date: February 2

Genre: Sci-Fi

A former mercenary's mind is placed in a new body, 250 years after his body died, and he's tasked with solving the murder of a wealthy man.

GameSpot's Mike Rougeau said in his review, "Altered Carbon isn't hardcore sci-fi because it's set on a spaceship or there are weird-looking aliens running around; it's because the show recognizes that revolutionary new technologies don't exist in a bubble. They alter the fabric of the world, like cars, air travel, the internet, and cell phones have."

Queer Eye

Release Date: February 7

Genre: Reality

A revamp of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Queer Eye features five gay men who makeover someone and change their lives by having them dress better, learn to cook, update their homes, and take better care of themselves overall.

While GameSpot doesn't have an official review, the Queer Eye revamp has a lot of heart and it's fun. Sure, hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness can be a bit much, but Karamo Brown usually reigns him in.

Greenhouse Academy: Season 2

Release Date: February 14

Genre: Drama

A brother and sister enroll in a private school for gifted students after losing their mother. The siblings join different houses within the school and quickly become rivals.

Everything Sucks

Release Date: February 16

Genre: Dramedy

During the 1990s, a freshman A.V. club member falls in love with a young girl and their relationship has a few roadblocks, primarily because she's gay. The series is filled with '90s nostalgia, and you can check some of those things and learn their history here.

GameSpot's Mike Rougeau said in his review, "Everything Sucks won't be for everyone, and it's far from perfect. But for those who can get past the cringey assault of forced '90s references and discover what the show is actually about, the prospect of a second season--which the final scene sets up in the most obvious way possible--won't seem so bad."

First Team: Juventus

Release Date: February 16

Genre: Sports Documentary

The series follows the renowned soccer club Juventus as the team goes for its seventh straight Italian title. First Team follows the club both on and off the field, so viewers get a sense of what it's like to be a player.

The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale

Release Date: February 18 (New episodes on Sundays)

Genre: Clip Show

Yes, there are way too many shows where someone stands in front of a green screen and watches video clips, but no one (sorry, Bob Saget and John Henson) did it better than Joel McHale on E!'s The Soup. The Joel McHale Show is pretty much The Soup with less coverage of E! shows.

There isn't an official GameSpot review, but if you loved The Soup, this will be right up your alley. The comedy is still top-notch.

Seven Seconds

Release Date: February 23

Genre: Crime Drama

A teenager is killed in a hit-and-run incident, which is covered up, and tensions flare as there is no resolution to the case and no justice for the teen's family.

Ugly Delicious

Release Date: February 23

Genre: Travel/Food

Chef and author David Chang travels around the globe, discussing food and culture with friends, scholars, and entertainers, as well as his own experiences growing up in America as someone of Korean descent.

It's amazing to see Netflix release the worst travel/food series I've ever seen (Somebody Feed Phil) followed by Ugly Delicious a month later, which is undoubtedly the best I have yet to see. Ugly Delicious and David Chang aren't trying to be something they're not and putting on airs when it comes to all the topics this show covers, from racial stereotypes to the many different facets of American culture to food sustainability. It's honest, sincere, and at times, funny. It may also be the only travel/food show where the host not only admits he eats fast food on occasion but actually goes on a ride-along with a Domino's driver. This is a must see series.

Last Chance To Get These Free Legendaries In Pokemon Ultra Sun And Moon

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 09:58 pm

The end of the month is quickly approaching, which means 3DS players only have a little time left to claim the first of this year's many free Pokemon in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Players have until February 28 to pick up a free download code from GameStop, which will net you one of the cover monsters from Diamond and Pearl, Dialga and Palkia.

The download code can be redeemed in any seventh generation Pokemon title, and the Legendary you'll get depends on which version you're playing. Those with a copy of Ultra Sun or Sun will receive Palkia, while Ultra Moon and Moon players will get Dialga. Each Pokemon also comes at a different level and knows a slightly different moveset depending on your version. You can see what moves they'll know in each game at the bottom of this story.

As usual, you'll need to redeem the download code through the Mystery Gift feature from the games' main menu. After selecting Mystery Gift, choose the option to receive your gift via a code/password, and input the code you picked up from GameStop when prompted. After your Pokemon is downloaded into the game, you'll be able to claim it from the deliveryman waiting inside any of Alola's Pokemon Centers. You need to redeem your download code by May 28.

The Pokemon Company is giving away a different Legendary Pokemon every month in 2018 as part of its Year of Legendary Pokemon celebration. Next month, players will be able to receive another pair of Legendaries from Diamond and Pearl, Regigigas and Heatran, in the seventh generation titles. Unlike February's distribution, the code for those Pokemon will be given away in March's Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter, which you'll only receive if you create a free Trainer Club account on the Pokemon website and opt-in for the newsletter by March 1. You can create a Trainer Club account here.

You can see all of the other free Pokemon available right now for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in our roundup. In addition to those, Pokemon Go players can also catch a handful of Legendaries. Along with the recently added Rayquaza, players have another chance to get their hands on Groudon and Kyogre, which are returning to the mobile game until March 5.

Spider-Man Spin-off Silver and Black Delayed, Director Confirms

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 08:47 pm

Venom is the first of Sony's upcoming Spider-Man spin-offs, and it hits theaters in October. The second movie is set to be Silver and Black, focusing on the characters of Silver Sable and The Black Cat. Although it was originally scheduled for February 2019 release, the movie has now been delayed.

The news first emerged via The Hashtag Show, which stated that Silver and Black had been "delayed indefinitely." Given it was originally set to begin production next month and no casting announcements have been made, this isn't surprising. Confirmation has now come from director Gina Prince-Bythewood‏, who replied to The Hashtag Show's tweet by explaining that the script was still being worked on:

Silver and Black was first announced in March 2017. The movie has already been through several writers; Lindsey Beer (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider) and Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Chaos Walking) are currently attached, while Thor: Ragnarok writer Chris Yost and Westworld co-creator Lisa Joy have both worked on previous drafts.

Although Sony made a deal with Disney in 2015 to allow Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the former studio still retains the overall movie rights to characters from the webslinger's comic books. Another Spidey character that also has a movie in development is Morbius: The Living Vampire.

The first trailer for Venom was revealed earlier this month. It stars Tom Hardy as a man who is taken over by the alien symbiote of the title. It also stars Michelle Williams and Riz Ahmed and releases on October 4, 2018.

Listen To Where The Water Tastes Like Wine's Incredible Music In This New Trailer

By Anonymous on Feb 26, 2018 08:26 pm

Where The Water Tastes Like Wine, the intriguing-looking American folklore game, launches this week, on February 28. One element of that game that caught our attention right away was the music, which covers a century a music including blues, patriotic marches, and more. Today, GameSpot is debuting a new trailer for the game focused on its excellent-sounding music; watch it above.

The music was composed by Ryan Ike, an accomplished musician who earned a BAFTA nomination for the music he wrote for Gunpoint. He said working on Where The Water Tastes Like Wine has been a "dream come true."

No Caption Provided

"I've always been really interested in how music can change and take on a life of its own as people share it, and getting to explore that idea with WTWTLW's world map theme--which shifts styles and influences depending on where you are in the country--was awesome," Ike explained. "I'm also a big fan of how people from different backgrounds can come together to form one musical culture.

"I think American Folk music is one of the best examples of that, and writing this soundtrack meant I got to work with a ton of amazing performers from all over the country, including many I've been wanting an excuse to hire for a long time. Working on this game really crossed a lot of stuff off my musical bucket list!"

You can listen to a few of the tracks in full right now here on Ike's Bandcamp page. Of the available cuts, my favourite would be "Breathe the Black," a driving acoustic track. The full album will be available alongside the game on February 28, and you'll be able to buy or stream it from all the expected places, including Spotify and iTunes.

Sting, the celebrated singer and bassist of The Police and 16-time Grammy winner, voices a character in Where The Water Tastes Like Wine. He's not the only big name lending his voice to the game. Other cast members include Dave Fennoy (Telltale's Walking Dead), Cissy Jones (Firewatch), and Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect). Check out the trailer above to hear some of the topline voice actors in the game.

In Where The Water Tastes Like Wine, you adventure through Depression-era America, in what is described as a narrative-driven game. There are sixteeen stories in the game, and all of them are written by different people. The game is developed by Dim Bulb Games and Serenity Forge, and published by Good Shepherd Entertainment.

For more on the game, check out GameSpot's interview with developer Johnnemann Nordhagen.
