11 Wrestlemania 34 Dream Matches For Daniel Bryan

By Mat Elfring on Mar 23, 2018 12:02 am

It happened. WWE finally cleared Daniel Bryan to wrestle again, and more than likely, his return match will be at Wrestlemania 34. While most of us remain in a state of shock with our jaws dropped to the floor, we can't help but think of all the potential matches that Bryan could have with his latest run in the company, as long as he stays healthy.

Let's pretend that Daniel Bryan can take on anyone currently employed by WWE, the storylines those folks are involved in don't exist, and their injuries are all healed up. Forget the match card and ask yourself, "Who would you like to see Daniel Bryan battle at Wrestlemania?"

While picking from everyone on the roster is quite the task, the wrestling nerds at GameSpot narrowed it all down to 11 matches that we'd love to see Daniel Bryan in at Wrestlemania, even if a couple are a bit far-fetched. And make sure to check back with GameSpot every day up until Sunday, April 8 for breakdowns of all the matches and our usual live coverage.

The Miz

Ever since August 2016, when The Miz went off on Daniel Bryan during an episode of Talking Smack, I have been dying to see the two fight each other. Both wrestlers have a long history with each other, as Miz was a mentor--during one storyline--to Bryan during his rookie year. Bryan later won the United States Championship from The Miz, which was his first title. Sometime later, Bryan won the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania 31 but had to relinquish it a year later when he was forced into retirement. The man that picked up the belt after him was none other than The Miz. There is no better storyline for Bryan than one with The Miz.

John Cena & Nikki Bella (Brie as Bryan's partner)

Understandably, this may not be a dream match for you, but it would draw in huge numbers for Wrestlemania. Teaming Daniel Bryan with his wife to take on his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, all the stars of Total Divas and Total Bellas on the E! network, would put a lot of eyes on WWE. This family feud match could be a lot of fun.

Woken Matt Hardy

Woken Matt Hardy is weird, wonderful, and wild. He's over with the WWE Universe, and the recent Ultimate Deletion was a breath of fresh air to the company, even if the bizarre event didn't fit WWE's normally highly produced standards. How awesome would it be for Daniel Bryan to make it to the Hardy Compound? Maybe he wants revenge for Bray Wyatt, as Bryan was a member of the Wyatt Family for roughly a week or two.

Kevin Owens

After the recent events on Smackdown, a battle between Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan will more than likely happen at Wrestlemania; however, it will probably also involve Shane McMahon and Sami Zayn as well. What I'd love to see is a simple, one-on-one match between the two. The story is already there, so it's easy for the crowd to get behind.

Aleister Black

If kicks in the face are your thing, then NXT's Aleister Black is a matchup you'd probably love to see. Black has extensive experience in various martial arts, and his in-ring style is proof of that. Similarly, Bryan uses a lot of kicks and knees while fighting, so a matchup between the two of them would make for a cool mirror match, in a sense, as long as the person in the mirror is a tall Dutch lad.

AJ Styles

Both Styles and Bryan have similar stories. Both men got their brief start in the big leagues: Styles with WCW and Bryan with developmental territories for WWE. Both men went on to shine in New Japan and Ring of Honor. Both men dominated the WWE when they were hired on. Sadly, we never got to see them fight it out in WWE--although they did in ROH. This is a match that needs to happen because both men are in the latter part of their careers, and there isn't much time left.

Adam Cole

Adam Cole bay-bay! It may be a little while before the former Bullet Club member gets his call-up to the main roster, but a match between Bryan and Cole would be amazing at Wrestlemania, mainly for the wrestling nerds out there--not so much for the average wrestling fan. Although Cole has a shorter career than others on this list, he has accomplished a lot on the wrestling circuit, primarily in ROH, PWG, and NJPW. Both Cole and Bryan are over with their fans, and this could be an extremely fun match.

Finn Balor

Here is another match fans would love to see, which happened a long time ago on the indie circuit. Years ago, Balor and Bryan fought each other at NWA Empire--under their real names. However, this was early in both of their careers, and both men hadn't entirely developed the style they have today. As far as talent goes at WWE, Finn Balor is on the top of that list for his in-ring ability, so this match-up would be perfect. The only suggestion I have is that Balor doesn't wear his demon makeup.

Johnny Gargano

Fans are counting down the days until Gargano crosses over to Smackdown or Raw, after being "fired" from NXT. Yet again, this is another dream match which already happened in the indies. In fact, they had a few battles together, with the most notable one being where Gargano pantsed Bryan--it's NSFW, so find it on your own. Many people have called Gargano "the next Daniel Bryan," so it seems perfect to have the two square off.

Samoa Joe

It's a bummer that Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan have not had a match in the WWE. The two had a few great matches in ROH, but they have yet to fight each other here. Aside from both men having distinct styles, it would be a "David vs. Goliath" event, as Samoa Joe is a wrecking ball, while Bryan relies more on speed and dexterity in the ring. If Samoa Joe wasn't injured right now, this could easily be on the Wrestlemania card.

Shinsuke Nakamura

It seems like every match involving Shinsuke Nakamura is a dream match, but no one wants to see these two battle more than Nakamura himself. He's tweeted that Bryan being cleared to wrestle is great news and that "no one needs to wish anymore." Bryan wanted to wrestle Nakamura in the past as an inter-promotional event between WWE and NJPW, but it never happened. Now, there's a really good chance we could see it, and frankly, Wrestlemania would be a great place for it.

Monster Hunter World Updated With New Weapons And Deviljho Armor

By Chris Pereira on Mar 22, 2018 11:43 pm

Deviljho Update Means New Armor And Weapons To Craft

Like its predecessors, Monster Hunter World is all about the gear. It's a game where you'll fight the same enemies over and over in order to collect parts, all in the name of acquiring the exact set of items you want. Introducing a new monster to the mix--as the latest Monster World Update does with Deviljho--brings some variety to the hunt, as you've got an enemy with different behaviors, attacks, and weaknesses to contend with. But, just as importantly, it also means there's new gear to get your hands on.

With the release of Deviljho, players who acquire parts from the monster will be able to craft a wealth of new gear. There's a new weapon for each weapon type, so you'll have something to strive for regardless of what you wield.

Additionally, there are two new High Rank Deviljho armor sets to get your hands on. The Alpha version will provide you with the following skills:

  • Attack Boost (Level 4)
  • Handicraft (3)
  • Partbreaker (3)
  • Latent Power (3)
  • Speed Eating (3)

The Beta set offers fewer skills; the key difference between the two is that Beta provides more flexibility with the decorations you can equip. Here's what beta offers:

  • Attack Boost (4)
  • Latent Power (3)
  • Speed Eating (3)
  • Partbreaker (1)

You can check out images of all the weapons and male armor above; we're working on acquiring the female armor and will update once we've gotten it. You'll need to be prepared to take on Deviljho, who's among the tougher enemies to face in Monster Hunter World. The monster is now available on both PS4 and Xbox One alongside a suite of weapon balance changes, adjustments to address online griefing while carving, and more. There will be more armor to hunt down in the near future, as crossover Mega Man and Devil May Cry sets are on the way, among others.

Deadpool Trailer 2 Breakdown And Easter Eggs: Who Is Terry Crews Playing?

By Mat Elfring on Mar 22, 2018 09:29 pm

The latest Deadpool trailer is here, and it is bonkers. The two and a half minute video, is jam-packed with new characters, new plot points, Easter eggs, and someone that looks a whole lot like Lindsay Lohan.

Although director Tim Miller isn't returning to the series, as he left due to creative differences, David Leitch helmed the upcoming film, and you may remember him from a little film called John Wick. Joining Leitch alongside the movie's star Ryan Reynolds is Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino.

Of course, Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), Weasel (T.J. Miller), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Blind Al (Leslie Uggams), and Dopinder (Karan Soni) all return for the sequel, and you can see them in the newest trailer. We also finally learn who Terry Crews is playing.

So what's going on with this new video? We're breaking down the new things we've learned about Deadpool 2, along with some Easter eggs and connections to the comic books, primarily weird stuff from the '90s.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 18.

Dopinder continues to be Deadpool's personal driver for the sequel, and he seems to have a beefed-up role this time, as we get to see a few shots of him outside of his taxi. He continues to idolize Deadpool and his work, and seems more loyal than ever in the new film.

Deadpool is headed to Japan. There are two scenes within the trailer--one of which takes place in a bathhouse--in which Deadpool is killing people in Japan. Early on, he cuts off a gangster's head. You can tell he's a gangster because he's wearing sunglasses inside, at night.

Believe it or not, Deadpool is huge in Japan, and one of the merc with a mouth's best moments you missed is when he interrupted the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer in Japanese cinemas to promote his own film.

We don't think Deadpool wearing high heels is a reference to anything in particular, not even Marvel's Lady Deadpool--who didn't wear high heels anyway. It is very impressive that Deadpool can do a backflip while wearing the shoes without falling over, though.

Deadpool enters his and Vanessa's home and says, "I was rounding all the gluten in the world and launching it into space where it can't not hurt us ever again." This is a reference to the 1987 film Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. In that movie, Superman gathers the world's nuclear weapons in a giant net and throws them into the sun.

Why is Cable here? What does he want? The new trailer reveals that Cable wants to kill a child, probably because it affects his future, and Cable thinks it will be for the betterment of mankind. Deadpool isn't cool with Cable's plans and wants to stop him.

The kid in question we saw in the first trailer flips off the camera. He's wearing what seems to be a control collar and a yellow jumpsuit.

Cable easily takes down Deadpool in the next scene. Wade Wilson is wearing the same yellow jumpsuit as the kid Cable is hunting. We saw these jumpsuits in the first trailer, as they have something to do with the group "DMC." At this time, we do not know for certain what that means.

Normally, when a studio puts out a movie, it builds hype by letting the audience know, "here are two other movies you probably like that we've also made, so you know this new movie is going to be good." The Deadpool 2 trailer decides to promote Katherine Heigel's 27 Dresses and Anne Hathaway's The Devil Wears Prada, two movies that couldn't be more different than Deadpool 2.

There is another shot of the kid Cable is after. He's played by Julian Dennison, and in this scene, he's created an explosion and set some police cars on fire while his skin glows orange. We don't know who exactly he's playing yet, but we're betting it's Sunspot. He's an extremely powerful mutant whose powers are primarily solar-based.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead is back, and she has a friend. The newcomer to the movie is actress Shioli Kutsuna. Both of these mutants will be joining Deadpool on his journey.

Colossus is back as well. Stefan Kapicic reprises his role as the voice of the Russian mutant, and in this scene, Deadpool gets a nice butt squeeze in.

Deadpool will be spending some time in the X-Mansion for the new film. Well, at least enough time to take a spin in Professor X's chair. Hopefully, this time, there's more than two members of the X-Men inside the mansion.

Terry Crews punches a guy on the ground. We briefly saw him in the first trailer and guessed he'd be playing either Bedlam or GW Bridge. More on that later.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead's friend is back again, and she's swinging a chain around her head, which is now electrified. Because of her powers--as well as the "X" logo on her right shoulder--we're thinking she's playing Surge. The character is a member of the New Mutants from Japan, who has to wear gauntlets to control her electrical powers.

Could this "Peter" be Pete Wisdom? This character is a mutant from England who wears a suit and tie to work everyday because he's a member for the British government organization Black Air and later because the leader of MI:13, the group that deals with superhuman threats. Wisdom can absorb solar radiation and create thermal knives that are hotter than the surface of the sun.

In addition, Terry Crews is confirmed as playing Bedlam, as his picture is here too.

While on the plane with Domino and his other teammates, Deadpool says they're going to call the team "X-Force."

There is another shot of one of the other members of X-Force, not the guy with the mustache. In the last breakdown, we thought this could be Chamber, but now, we're not so sure.

Deadpool pops out of a casket during a funeral and shoots everyone up. We're not sure who these people are, but the older woman--sitting down--looks like Cloris Leachman, and the woman standing next to her sure looks like Lindsay Lohan.

In the final scenes of the trailer, we see Deadpool crossing some police tape, wearing a mesh shirt with an X on it. While it's not exact, it really reminds us of what X-Force member Rictor used to wear during the '90s. We can expect to see a lot of '90s X-Force references in this movie.

21 Virtual Reality Movies, Ranked

By Chris E. Hayner on Mar 22, 2018 03:25 am

Virtual Reality Movies, Ranked

Whether it's Ender destroying the world in Ender's Game or a VR serial killer being unleashed on the world in Virtuosity, virtual reality tech has been a useful storytelling tool for years.

Take a stroll with us as we revisit our 21 favorite VR movies, ranked from worst to best according to our sister site Metacritic. The results may surprise you.

21. Gamer

In this movie, the virtual reality is the real world. Thanks to advancements in technology, "players" can control actual humans as if they were video game avatars. It's a horrible idea that only gets worse with the release of a first-person shooter.

Metacritic score: 27

Image: Lionsgate

20. The Thirteenth Floor

As programmers create a VR simulation of Los Angeles in the 1930s, they begin wondering if their own existence in the 1990s is a simulation itself. How deep into a VR world can you go before losing touch with any sort of actual reality?

Metacritic score: 36

Image: Columbia Pictures

19. Virtuosity

In this silly film, a serial killer that exists only in virtual reality comes to life in the real world after taking over the body of an android. While that may play in a futuristic thriller, Russell Crowe's over-the-top acting as the nefarious SID 6.7 instead creates a work that feels about as authentic as Demolition Man.

Metacritic score: 39

Image: Paramount

18. The Cell

The Cell uses virtual reality as a psychological tool for comatose patients. When a psychologist uses the tool to enter the mind of a serial killer, everything goes horribly wrong. This movie has good VR visuals, but critics weren't quite as impressed with the story.

Metacritic score: 40

Image: New Line

16. The Lawnmower Man (tie)

In The Lawnmower Man, a gardener with a learning disability gets metaphysical powers after being exposed to a virtual world. This new knowledge causes mental instability and a need to become one with the digitized universe.

It's the sort of idea that has been done better by other movies -- right, Tron? -- and yet it somehow spawned a sequel.

Metacritic score: 42

Image: New Line

16. The Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (tie)

While Metacritic gives this sequel a 42, the same score as the original, movie-going audiences reacted much more harshly. On a $15 million budget, Lawnmower Man 2 earned $2.4 million at the box office.

Thankfully, the story of the Jobe Smith -- played by a completely different actor in the sequel -- ends here.

Metacritic score: 42

Image: New Line

15. Total Recall (2012)

The reboot of Total Recall isn't necessarily a bad movie. It just doesn't have the visual charm of the 1990 original, instead opting for a glossy finish that makes everything look too nice for the world it's set in. One other knock against it is the VR vacation to Mars is replaced by one on Earth, which isn't nearly as exciting.

Metacritic score: 43

Image: Columbia Pictures

14. Hackers

Hackers is the quintessential cheesy '90s movie about computer hacking and its culture. Everything in it is so ludicrously over-the-top, including the scene where the villain gets beat up by a virtual reality boxing game.

Metacritic score: 46

Image: MGM

13. The Matrix Revolutions

Critics allege that the final chapter in the Matrix trilogy lost its way and failed to give viewers closure. That said, it's hard to not look at The Matrix trilogy as a whole as some of the best sci-fi ever made.

Metacritic score: 47

Image: Warner Bros.

12. Tron Legacy

Tron: Legacy delivers on the promises of the original film with amazing visuals. From the light cycle battles to the Daft Punk score, this is the kind of VR movie the world should appreciate more.

Metacritic score: 49

Image: Disney

11. Ender's Game

Here, the titular character believes his VR military tactics test is a simulation -- but it's not. Unfortunately, the movie was a simplified take on a very complex book. It flopped at the box office.

Metacritic score: 51

Image: Summit Entertainment

9. Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (tie)

The concept of a digitized villain using a VR game to come back to the real world may seem ridiculous -- and it is. But it also makes for the best movie in the Spy Kids franchise.

Metacritic score: 57

Image: Miramax

9. Total Recall (1990) (tie)

Total Recall imagines a future where virtual vacations are implanted into your memory, rather than you actually taking them -- which seems utterly horrible. And yet, still, the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie has gone on to become a cult classic--thanks, in large part to how visually interesting it is.

Metacritic score: 57

Image: TriStar Pictures

7. Disclosure (tie)

In Disclosure, VR is a tool used to access a company's data files, which makes absolutely no sense. That said, the scene doesn't distract much from an otherwise compelling thriller.

Metacritic score: 58

Image: Warner Bros.

7. Tron (tie)

While the original Tron wasn't a big box office success in 1982, its ideas were way ahead of their time. Rather than using traditional headgear as a means into a virtual world, main character Flynn is digitized and uploaded into a computer mainframe.

Metacritic score: 58

Image: Disney

6. Videodrome

In Videodrome, David Cronenberg uses VR as a means of torture. In a way, it's an even more abstract version of what he would later attempt in Existenz, blurring the line between causing pain in a virtual world and the real one.

Metacritic score: 60

Image: Universal

5. The Matrix Reloaded

The second chapter of the Matrix trilogy isn't as beloved as the original, but it does expand greatly on the virtual world it's set in.

Metacritic score: 62

Image: Warner Bros.

4. Ready Player One

Steven Spielberg's journey into virtual reality is a celebration of nostalgia at its heart, as people of the future use VR to revisit familiar characters and settings from pop culture. While some may find it to be cloying, our own Michael Rougeau says "if you can get past the nitpicks, there's a really fun movie underneath."

Metacritic score: 64

Image: Warner Bros.

3. Dark City

On the surface, this film presents itself as a neo-noir murder mystery. That quickly unravels, however, when the main character reveals that the world and people around him are changing. Dark City was not a box office success, but luckily critics saw it for the intriguing and unique tale it is.

Metacritic score: 66

Image: New Line

2. Existenz

You may not remember Existenz, but this small budget horror movie from 1999 is director David Cronenberg at his absolute creepiest. It's filled with so many twists and turns that by the end you won't be sure what's real and what's not -- kind of like most of Cronenberg's work.

Metacritic score: 68

Image: Dimension Films

1. The Matrix

There is no doubt about it: The Matrix is the gold standard of VR movies, plunging most of the human population into a faux world that lives inside a computer. While its sequels may not have always lived up to their hype, the original is forever a classic.

Metacritic score: 73

Image: Warner Bros.

Pacific Rim's Kaiju Ranked In Order Of Awesomeness

By Dan Auty on Mar 22, 2018 02:24 am

While most big monster movies tend to feature one or two giant beasts causing mayhem and destruction, Pacific Rim showcased a host of spectacular creatures. The Kaiju of Guillermo Del Toro's 2013 film were some of the biggest and baddest giant movie monsters ever created, inventively designed and incredible to watch while slugging it out with the movie's mecha Jaegers.

In an interview Den of Geek at the time, Del Toro described how he wanted his monsters to homage classic Japanese monster movies. "The first notion was to inform the ideas with the tradition of the kaiju [movies]," he said. "We tried to preserve, for example, the basic proportions of a man in a suit for the monsters. Even for the giant crustacean monster, you could execute that monster as a suit.

"When detailing the monsters, I had the team reference real things, like in National Geographic, for example, the profile of a goblin shark, the skin of an elephant--but not reference, ever, other movie monsters."

So with Pacific Rim: Uprising smashing into theaters this weekend, here's a look back at the main Kaiju of Del Toro's movie, ranked in order of how big, strong, fast, cool-looking, and generally awesome they are...

10. Onibaba

While many of the Pacific Rim's Kaiju stand tall on two legs, Onibaba is a smaller, four-legged creature that resembles a crab. But while it is not as openly hostile as many of the other Kaiju, it nevertheless destroys half of Tokyo by blundering mindlessly through the streets during a key flashback scene.

9. Hundun

Although glanced only fleetingly, Hundun is the second Kaiju to attack humanity, six months after Trespasser's attack on San Francisco. This horned beast is spotted causing mayhem in Manilla.

8. Mutavore

Mutavore's fight with Striker Eureka is the only one to take place in daylight, after the creature smashes through the completely ineffectual anti-Kaiju wall. It's got three eyes, a cool bladed head, and massive axe-like wings that sprout from his back. But while Mutavore is good at smashing walls, Eureka takes him out in only a couple of minutes.

7. Scunner

Scunner has speed and strength on its side. Four arms enable it move quickly underwater, while two massive horns means it can smash the hell out of its opponents. The Jaegers do manage to beat Scunner in the final battle with Slattern and Raiju, but only by detonating a thermo-nuclear device in its face.

6. Trespasser

Trespasser was the first creature to attack mankind and this towering beast--also known as Axehead--gives us the perfect introduction to the destructive power of the Kaiju. Its thick hide allows it to resist most conventional weapons, meaning that it has to be defeated by nuclear missiles.

5. Raiju

Like Scunner, who Raiju fights alongside towards the end of the movie, this Kaiju is built for underwater combat, with angled feet allowing for rapid movement through water. Raiju is heavily armored, with massive crocodile-like jaws that encase his head, making him one of the coolest-looking Kaiju.

4. Knifehead

The movie's first major Jaeger vs Kaiju fight is between Knifehead and Gypsy Danger. This seriously scary-looking beast bursts out from the ocean and uses his huge bladed head to cause maximum destruction, as well as killing Yancy Becket, the brother of the movie's hero, Raleigh. It's also the first Kaiju to use tactics in its fighting style as well as brute strength.

3. Leatherback

One of the biggest and strongest of all the Kaiju, Leatherback is a hulking six-eyed monstrosity who resembles a bad, mad gorilla. Its battle with Gypsy Battle is a lengthy, brutal showdown, which nearly ends in victory for the Kaiju. Leatherback also possess the ability to generate a huge electronics-killing pulse, making him especially deadly in a Jaeger battle.

2. Otachi

Otachi is perhaps the meanest and deadliest of all Pacific Rim's Kaiju. She spits gallons of Jaeger-melting neon acid, can fly, has a lethal barbed tail, and just keeps on fighting. And, as we discover when she is finally stopped by Gipsy Danger, she does all this while pregnant!

1. Slattern

Otachi might have cunning and the ability to fly on her side, but when it comes to sheer size and strength, Slattern is the king of the Kaiju. With its armoured hide, three deadly spiked tails, extending chest spike, and earth-soaking, building-crushing sonic roar, this Kaiju is a terrifyingly huge prospect. Even the nuclear payload that destroys Striker Eureka and kills Scunner isn't enough to stop Slattern; it takes a second nuclear blast to finally fell the beast.

WWE Wrestlemania 34: Match Card And Predictions

By Mat Elfring on Mar 22, 2018 01:14 am

Wrestlemania, WWE's biggest event of the year, is right around the corner. It's coming to the WWE Network and PPV on Sunday, April 8. Fans should get prepared for an all-day affair as 2017's Wrestlemania 33 was six and a half hours long. This year's show will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in the city of New Orleans.

Aside from the main card, Wrestlemania weekend will also consist of the Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday--with both Kid Rock and Mark Henry, among others, being inducted--NXT Takeover on Saturday, and Wrestlemania itself on Sunday. At the time of this writing, a Kickoff Show has not been announced, but you can expect one to start two hours prior to Wrestlemania 34 at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT, much like last year's Mania event.

While the match card has not been finalized, the PPV is looking pretty full already, and there are still championships that need to be defended and main event stars that need a place on the card. The newest addition to this year's PPV is the Women's Battle Royal match, which will most likely appear on the Kickoff Show with the Men's Battle Royal. Originally, the women's match was named the Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal, but WWE changed the name due to some controversy.

There have been a lot of rumors as to which stars will be on the final card, but as the weeks go on, we will only be discussing matches confirmed by the WWE, including where recently cleared Daniel Bryan fits into all of this. Keep checking back up until Wrestlemania 34 as we'll also have pieces fully discussing each of the matches at the PPV. For now, here is the match card and our predictions.

On March 21, Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens was removed from the card, but we expect them to be involved in a match with Daniel Bryan, which should be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

As of this writing, only the tag team The Revival have been announced for the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. However, the winners for the past two years have been newer talent in the company. I have a feeling we will see that tradition continue. While this prediction may change as stars gets announced for this match, I'm giving the win to Tye Dillinger, as he's a guy who needs and deserves a push. He's too talented to be on the backburner.

Our prediction: Tye Dillinger wins

Women's Battle Royal

Much like the Men's Battle Royal, the newly-named Women's Battle Royal has yet to announce any participants. More than likely, it will also appear on the Kickoff Show as well. There are a lot of women in WWE that are more than deserving of a big push. However, since losing the Smackdown Women's Championship, Becky Lynch has been on the short end of the stick. She's been in the background for most stories she's involved with and endures countless losses in the ring. I'm giving the win to her simply because she deserves to be in the main event picture again.

Our prediction: Becky Lynch wins

Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali

(For the Cruiserweight Championship)

Finally, the match for the Cruiserweight title has been set, as Cedric Alexander takes on his friend and ally Mustafa Ali at Wrestlemania. No matter who wins, this is going to be an incredible match, as these two men are going to put on a clinic. This is the time for Ali to be in the spotlight. I'm giving the win to Ali but not just because he's a Chicago guy, like myself. He's been consistent in the ring, and his matches are incredibly exciting.

Our prediction: Mustafa Ali

Randy Orton (c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal

(For the United States Championship)

Apparently, WWE can't get enough of Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal fighting for a championship. Orton recently won the title from Bobby Roode, and The Glorious One wants his rematch. Of course, for some odd reason, Mahal is getting in on the action as well for this triple threat match. Roode's championship run was too short, and he's the only one in this contest who deserves a run with this title.

Our prediction: Bobby Roode wins

The Bar (c) vs. Braun Strowman & An Unnamed Partner

(For the Raw Tag Team Championship)

While the idea of Braun Strowman being a lone tag team champion is hilarious, there was no way that was going to happen. So now, Strowman will have a yet-to-be-named partner to take on The Bar. Raw's tag team division is a mess, and this match does not help. In order for the Monday night show to save face and get back on track, The Bar needs to win; otherwise, it will be a complete joke. As much as I love everything about Braun Strowman--the walking Looney Tunes character--he should not win this one.

Our prediction: The Bar wins

The Miz (c) vs. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins

(For the Intercontinental Championship)

As previously mentioned, Daniel Bryan is cleared to wrestle, and I would love for this match to be replaced by one between The Miz and Bryan. However, until there's an official confirmation to what Bryan's plans are, we have Miz taking on Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, which should be a fantastic battle. However, considering that the Miz is exceptionally close to breaking another Intercontinental Championship reign record, I'm thinking he'll retain the title, only to lose it a couple months later.

Our prediction: The Miz wins

Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax

(For the Raw Women's Championship)

Things took a turn recently in the relationship between Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss, as the Raw Women's Champion was caught talking smack about her best friend. A title match between the two has been building since Bliss first won the belt, and there will be nothing more satisfying than Jax finally winning the championship. For that reason alone--the sweet taste of revenge--I'm giving the win to Jax.

Our prediction: Nia Jax wins

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns

(For the Universal Championship)

Reigns has called out Universal Champion Brock Lesnar for being a part-time wrestler, and that got "The Big Dog" suspended, which later led to Lesnar attacking him. Since Lesnar has been champion, I've unsuccessfully predicted him to lose on numerous occasions. And I'm going to do it again. It's time for the champion to be a full-timer once again, and while Roman Reigns may not be the top dog we want, we strangely need him.

Our prediction: Reigns wins

Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon

Well, I was hoping for Rousey to reteam with The Rock, but I guess Kurt Angle is a good teammate. The newly signed, former MMA fighter takes on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in her first bout. This is a no-brainer. WWE will not have Rousey lose her first match.

Our prediction: Angle & Rousey win

AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

(For the WWE Championship)

Sure, Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles had an epic match in New Japan Pro Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 10, but the average WWE fan didn't see it and more than likely won't go looking to watch it. Just like WWE did with Ultimate Deletion, fans will get WWE's version of the classic Nakamura/Styles match. However, this will be just the start of the war between these two. I suspect this will be a long-running rivalry with the championship getting passed between the wrestlers. For the first battle, I'm giving the win to Nakamura.

Our prediction: Nakamura wins

Charlotte vs. Asuka

(For the Smackdown Women's Championship)

Charlotte has been a dominant champion and Asuka hasn't lost a singles match since coming to WWE and NXT. These are two of the most dominant superstars on the entire WWE roster, and this is a dream match for wrestling fans. There are very few people that could break Asuka's streak, but Charlotte may be one of them. While I see this match going either way, I don't think it's time for the streak to end, so Asuka will get the win after an intense battle.

Our prediction: Asuka wins

Secondary prediction: Carmella cashes in her Money in the Bank contract and loses
