The news comes from Entertainment Weekly, which reports the producer was officially let go after an internal investigation into claims from 15 women and four men that alleged sexual harassment and misconduct. As part of the termination, Kreisberg's name will be removed from the shows. "We remain committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and everyone involved in our productions," WBTV says in a statement.
While he was listed as a producer on all four of The CW's DC universe shows, he was most involved with the production of The Flash and Supergirl. In his absence, co-showrunners Todd Helbing (The Flash) and Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller (Supergirl) will continue working on the shows. Additionally, WBTV says executive producer Greg Berlanti, whose company Berlanti Productions is behind The CW's DC universe, will assume "additional responsibilities" on the two series.
The claims made against Kreisberg were first published by Variety in an expose that alleged he made sexualized comments about women, asked for massages from female staff, and touched or kissed people without permission. At the time, the producer denied the allegations. "I have made comments on women's appearances and clothes in my capacity as an executive producer, but they were not sexualized," he said in a statement. "Like many people, I have given someone a non-sexual hug or kiss on the cheek."
Shortly after the Variety piece was posted, several cast members from the various superhero shows, including Melissa Benoist (Supergirl), Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow), Stephen Amell (Arrow), and Caity Lotz (DC's Legends of Tomorrow) spoke out against harassment and sexual misconduct on social media.
The news of Kreisberg's termination comes one day after the conclusion of the Crisis on Earth-X crossover event, which saw the casts of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow unite in a two-night event to fight Nazis from another dimension.
Kobolds & Catacombs, the next expansion for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, now has a release date--and it's soon. Blizzard announced today that the expansion will arrive on December 7 in North America, with a release for Europe coming a day later.
As announced at BlizzCon, Kobolds & Catacombs comes with 135 new cards, including new card types such as Spellstones and Unidentified items. Also new in the expansion is the Dungeon Runs single-player mode, which Blizzard says contains 48 different encounters. Additionally, everyone gets a random legendary weapon card and three Kobolds & Catacombs card packs for free just for logging in.
Hearthstone is free but you can pay real money to add cards. For $50, you can get 50 Kobolds & Catacombs card packs, along with a "For the Hoard" card. This card is unlocked right away, should you decide to pre-order, but the Kobolds & Catacombs cards of course will not be available until the expansion arrives.
Kobolds & Catacombs is Hearthstone's fifth expansion, following Goblins vs. Gnomes, The Grand Tournament, Whispers of the Old Gods, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, Journey to Un'Goro, and Knights of the Frozen Throne.
Epic has announced a new update for Fortnite, which will coincide with the end of the Fortnitemares Halloween event today, November 29. The 1.9.1 patch introduces new content for both the game's Save the World and free-to-play Battle Royale modes, as well as Xbox One X support.
Following today's update, Fortnite will run in 4K on Xbox One X. However, it's unclear if this will be native 4K, nor is it clear if the game will receive any other performance boosts when played on Microsoft's new console.
The new update Epic also introduces new items to the PUBG-style Battle Royale mode: smoke grenades. Like typical smoke grenades, these are non-lethal weapons that are used to obscure other players' vision. You can find them either as randomly spawning floor loot or in all container types.
In addition to smoke grenades, Epic is adding two new leaderboards to Battle Royale: Global Wins and Score. The former leaderboard showcases the top 50 players in a specific match type based on the number of wins they've racked up; the latter measures players by the total amount of experience they've gained.
Fortnite's Save the World mode is also getting a handful of new items in the form of nine new Vindertech weapons. Additionally, Epic is bringing back Mutant Storms in Save the World, which will reward you with tickets. Players who still have a lot of Halloween tickets will also receive free items; every 500 unused Halloween tickets you have will get you a Halloween llama.
Finally, the 1.9.1 update makes a number of gameplay and UI tweaks, as well as an assortment of bug fixes. You can read more about it in the patch notes--which have been taken from Epic's website--below.

Like the previous Pokemon Sun and Moon versions, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon feature community challenges called Global Missions, the first of which recently concluded. Unfortunately, players weren't anywhere close to hitting the target goal.
The first Global Mission in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was called "Catch a lot of Pokemon," and it tasked players around the world with a straightforward challenge: capture 10 million Pokemon across both titles in 10 days. However, players only managed to catch 5,442,088 Pokemon (via Pokemon fansite Serebii), which is only slightly more than half of the target number.
Successfully completing the Global Mission would have rewarded participants with 2,000 Festival Coins, while those with a Pokemon Global Link account would earn twice as many. As the challenge ended in failure, players who took part in the Global Mission will earn 1,000 Festival Coins instead, with Pokemon Global Link members getting 2,000.
The next Global Mission for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon begins on December 12 and is called "Have Fun Mantine Surfing." The challenge runs until December 27, though no further details have been announced for it yet.
Meanwhile, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon's first Online Competition, the Johto X Alola Online Competition, kicks off on December 15, with registration opening up a week prior, on December 7. The competition uses the Double Battles format and is restricted to Pokemon that can only be found in the Johto and Alola Pokedexes. Pokemon that you transfer to Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon from the classic Gold and Silver versions via Pokemon Bank are also eligible for the competition.
The announcement of SMT V was entirely in Japanese. This left open the possibility that it would not be localized outside of Japan, though that would have been a surprise. Atlus has now confirmed the expected, stating that a western release is planned for the RPG. It also shared an English version of that same reveal trailer from last month, which you can check out above.
Atlus's announcement simply states the game is coming to the "West." The publisher has since confirmed with GameSpot that it will be released in both North America and Europe. A price and release date have not yet been announced.
We don't yet know much about SMT V, beyond the fact that it will be set in modern Tokyo, as is always (at least partially) the case with games in the series. The press release states that "players will face a new onslaught of demons in the latest from the highly acclaimed series."
Final Fantasy fans are in for a big year next year. Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto has reportedly promised multiple new titles in 2018.
As reported by Gematsu, Hashimoto told the Edamame Arcade Channel that the studio's teams were working on multiple games. "They are all gearing up for a big year next year. Next year is going to be a big year," he said. You can watch the interview below.
The Final Fantasy series is about to turn 30 years old next month. Its latest release, Final Fantasy XV for PS4 and Xbox One, just received its latest DLC called Comrades. The expansion, which added a multiplayer component to the game, lets you team up with three other players online to complete quests. You can play Comrades if you purchased the Season Pass or as a individual purchase for $20, which still requires owning Final Fantasy XV.
Meanwhile, Square Enix also released a VR spinoff for PSVR called Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV. It's a whole game based on the fishing mini-game featured in Final Fantasy XV and, as you can read here, it's just as weird as it sounds. Next up in the series is the long-awaited Episode Ignis chapter for Final Fantasy XV, which is due out December 13, 2017. The game is due out on PC next year.
December is nearly upon us, and that means another batch of free games is on the way for PlayStation Plus members. Six more games are set to be available soon for all subscribers, with PS4, PS3, and Vita owners each getting at least two.
As usual, the main highlight comes on PS4. First up is Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition, the remastered version of the 2012 action game. It includes all DLC released for the original version along with improved graphics and other enhancements. It'll be joined by a more family-friendly game in Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends. The ongoing bonus PS Plus game, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, will continue to be available throughout December, too. If you're in Europe, you can still grab That's You.
PS4 will owners will receive a third game this month, thanks to Cross-Buy: the Metroidvania-style Forma 8, which is officially one of Vita's free games for December, will also be playable on PS4. Vita's other new game in December will be co-op shooter Wanted Corp. Rounding out the month's lineup are two PS3 games: Syberia Collection (which includes adventure game Syberia and Syberia II) and Xblaze Lost: Memories.
These freebies will be available starting next Tuesday, December 5. You have until then to claim November's free PS Plus games, which include Worms Battlegrounds. You can see the full December lineup below.
As previously announced, a beta of the upcoming Monster Hunter World will be available exclusively to PS Plus members. It will run from December 9-12 and features the Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste levels, where you'll hunt a Great Jagras and Barroth. From December 12 through January 9, PS Plus subscribers can claim the Smite PlayStation Plus Pack, which consists of a variety of gods, skins, voice packs, and an announcer pack.

Open to US residents only, void where prohibited.

If you passed on picking up Destiny 2 this Black Friday or Cyber Monday because it wasn't cheap enough, today might be your lucky day. Amazon's latest deal of the day features Destiny 2 at the same all-time low price on all platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and the PC version that released only last month.
For today only, Destiny 2 is available for just $26 (PS4 / Xbox One / PC). That beats out the best Black Friday pricing we saw by a small margin; GameStop was selling it for $27, while others had it for $30 or more. Most significantly, this is a big discount for the PC version, which Battle.net had on sale for $39 on Black Friday.
This discount applies only to the base game. Destiny 2's special editions, as well as its expansion pass that provides access to next week's Curse of Osiris expansion, remain at their regular price. Still, this remains a nice deal for those in the market for the game. If you're still on the fence, you can check out our Destiny 2 review; there's also now a Destiny 2 free trial available.
Today was intended to host the third and final livestream dedicated to Curse of Osiris, which launches on December 5. Instead, Bungie has canceled the event in favor of sharing "higher priority information." This move comes amid growing discontent within the fanbase, as players recently discovered an undisclosed XP scaling system. This limited the amount of XP earned in certain situations, which some have speculated was intended to encourage real-money purchases of Bright Engrams. Bungie has disabled the system but doubled the amount of XP now required to level up.
In terms of what to expect today, Bungie said, "You'll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they'll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you'll also learn about how we're reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks." We'll report back with those details as they're shared.
If you've yet to catch Entei, Raikou, and Suicune in Pokemon Go, you only have a few more hours before they disappear. The Legendary trio will only be available in their final regions until tomorrow, November 30, making this your last chance to add the powerful monsters to your team.
The three Legendaries first began spawning in Pokemon Go back in September. However, unlike previous Legendary Pokemon, which were available globally for a limited time, each one was exclusive to a specific region of the world for a month; after that, they rotated to a different region. Suicune can currently be found in the Americas; Raikou is available in Europe and Africa; and players in the Asia-Pacific region can encounter Entei.
As usual, the three Legendary dogs will appear in their respective regions at Gyms as Raid Boss battles. You'll have to team up with other Pokemon Go players to battle the powerful Pokemon; only by defeating the Legendaries will you have the chance to capture them. You can check out our guide on how to catch Legendary Pokemon for tips on how to tackle these kinds of battles.
While Entei, Raikou, and Suicune may only be around for a few more hours, but they aren't the only Legendary Pokemon you have a chance to catch in Pokemon Go right now. Another Legendary monster from Pokemon Gold and Silver, Ho-Oh, is also available around the world for a limited time. The Legendary bird was unlocked following the successful completion of the Global Catch Challenge event and will appear in Raid Battles at Gyms until December 12.
Hamill was recently spotted at JFK airport in New York, hunched over in a wheelchair, leading fans to speculation about his health. However, the actor has now confirmed that he is fit and well, and was using the wheelchair as part of a disguise to avoid unscrupulous autograph-hunters.
Hamill replied to the fan's concerned tweet with, "HA! Arriving 5AM I tried the old 'wheelchair trick' JUST 2 avoid autograph $alesmen/Dealer$ who constantly badger me (& my family) 2 increase value of their items. All the better 2 gouge TRUE FANS later on Ebay #TheyCanGoForceThemselves #NoMoreAirportSignings."
"When filming [the] scene I was assured my lightsaber swipe toward camera (creature not on set) would simply singe fur to scare him off," Hamill tweeted. "[I was] horrified to later see amputation and unnecessary cruelty. Wampa was HUNGRY (not EVIL). Luke would never do this!"
Hamill will be seen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which hits theaters on December 15. There has been plenty of promotional activity for the movie over past couple of weeks, including a TV spot in which Chewie smacks a Porg, and another that focuses on Luke's relationship with Rey.
Publisher 2K has revealed the first expansion for Civilization VI, called Rise and Fall. The expansion adds eight civilizations and nine new leaders, along with a variety of new systems to further bolster the turn-based strategy game.
In addition to the new civilizations, Rise and Fall adds eight new world wonders as well as new units, districts, buildings, and improvements. It also expands the Government and Diplomacy systems, allowing you to form new types of partnerships with other civs that can provide new bonuses. It also adds Great Ages and Governors, which are characters that can be hired to further customize a city.
Rise and Fall introduces a number of features designed to level out the playing field in the later game, when it can be hard to catch up to the civilization in the lead. This includes a Loyalty system for cities and other adjustments. For more details, check our preview of Rise and Fall's new systems.
Civ 6: Rise and Fall launches for PC on February 8, 2018. A price has not yet been announced.
Playtonic Games has announced a release date for the Nintendo Switch version of its Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor, Yooka-Laylee. The retro-style 3D platformer launches for Nintendo's console on December 14.
"The Playtonic team has spent many, many months optimising Yooka-Laylee for Nintendo Switch (with technical help and support from Nintendo and Unity themselves!) and we believe we're delivering a version Nintendo fans can be proud of," Playtonic wrote on its website.
The Switch version of Yooka-Laylee will feature a custom achievements system, as well the ability to play all eight multiplayer mini-games with a single Joy-Con. It also features all of the improvements Playtonic made to the game with Yooka-Laylee's first big update, including a new camera system, improved controls, the option to skip through dialogue quickly, and many other adjustments.
Switch owners will be able to pre-purchase Yooka-Laylee through the Nintendo Switch Eshop beginning December 7. You can read more about the title in GameSpot's Yooka-Laylee review.
Sony has launched the next set of free games for PlayStation Plus members. We're now well into November, and subscribers can download a total of seven titles across PS4, PS3, and Vita. That's one more than usual, as Sony is again offering a bonus PlayStation VR game following the headset's recent one-year anniversary. As usual, PS4 owners have the widest and best selection of games, but you've got something to look forward to regardless of platform.
PS4 owners with PS Plus have four games in total to nab for free right now: strategy game Worms Battlegrounds, the gorgeous (but hard-to-describe) Bound, and PSVR shooter Until Dawn: Rush of Blood; the latter will be available for longer than the other games, as it's not a part of the standard monthly lineup. Additionally, Cross-Buy provides PS4 players with a fourth title at no cost, the action RPG Dungeon Punks.
All of the standard PS Plus freebies can be claimed until December 5, when they'll return to their regular prices. By adding them to your library before then, you can play them for as long as you remain a Plus subscriber. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, meanwhile, remains free until January 3. You can see the full list of this month's PS Plus freebies and grab them from the links below. PSN's Black Friday sale has come to a close, but there's still something to look forward to, as we should be learning about December's free PS Plus games on November 29.
The third of Bungie's three Destiny 2 livestreams dedicated to Curse of Osiris has been canceled. In lieu of its planned stream on Wednesday, the developer will instead release a blog post that shares some "higher priority information," which seems to be in response to the recent uproar over the discovery of an undisclosed XP scaling system.
"Tomorrow, we had planned to conduct the final stream prior to the launch of Curse of Osiris to show off some of the weapons and armor the expansion includes," Bungie's David "DeeJ" Dague wrote on the developer's forums. "Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2. You'll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they'll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you'll also learn about how we're reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks."
All of this will be shared in a post on Bungie's website at some point today. The stream has seemingly been canceled altogether, and Activision confirmed with GameSpot that there won't be one this week. It's unclear if there are still plans to share those Curse of Osiris details at some other point. There's not much time left to do so, as its release is planned for December 5.
Game director Luke Smith recently announced that, at some point this week, Bungie would share details about some key changes coming to Destiny 2. He also said that he and project lead Mark Noseworthy would be "answering some questions and addressing community feedback we've been reading since launch."
Although Smith offered no further specifics, it seems likely that complaints about the perceived lack of an end-game will be addressed. Perhaps just as importantly, they may also discuss the aforementioned controversy that emerged last week. A Reddit user discovered that Destiny 2 limited the amount of XP you earned when taking part in certain activities, such as Public Events. Bungie acknowledged this hidden system was in place and disabled it, stating, "We are not happy with the results." However, this seemingly welcome change coincided with another adjustment, this one doubling the amount of XP needed to level up at the level cap. Bungie did not acknowledge this change at first, only later confirming it to be the case and informing players it is working on an update to the in-game UI to make this change clear.
Due to the way rewards are doled out after level 20--each rank-up earns you a Bright Engram--there has been some concern that the level scaling (and subsequent required XP increase) were motivated by microtransactions. Bright Engrams can be purchased with real-world money, and although their contents are cosmetic in nature, players naturally assumed that anything being done to limit players' acquisition of free Bright Engrams is driven by a desire to encourage microtransactions.
Although part of the focus for the stream was set to be gear, we have already gotten a look at some of the new Curse of Osiris armor and weapons. We'll report back with anything more we learn about the expansion prior to its release, as well as the plans Bungie shares in its blog post.
EA made a surprise move earlier this month when, hours before the game's release, the company pulled all microtransactions out of Star Wars Battlefront II. This was done in response to extreme pressure from fans, who were rightly concerned about the impact that players buying Battlefront II's loot crates could have on gameplay balance. Now, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen has addressed EA's decision and discussed where things go from here.
"Listening to the consumer when they start playing the game, six months from now, and even six years from now, is very important for us," Jorgensen said at the Credit Suisse Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference, as reported by GamesIndustry.biz. "And I would say if we're not making some mistakes along the way and learning from them, that's when you should worry about us. But our view is these are great opportunities for us to continue to tune the game, to adjust these things."
"We pulled off on the MTX, because the real issue the consumer had was they felt it was a pay-to-win mechanic," he continued. "The reality is there are different types of players in games. Some people have more time than money, and some people have more money than time. You want to always balance those two."
As Jorgensen said, the game will indeed continue to be adjusted--we already know the removal of microtransactions is only a temporary measure. When the news was announced, DICE stated that microtransactions would return in the future, but it was not made clear whether they would do so in a different form. EA's need to continue generating revenue to support its plans for free post-launch content is understandable, and a common idea suggested by fans is to go the route of Overwatch: limit real-world money purchases to cosmetic items, like skins and emotes.
Jorgensen was asked why that isn't the route EA and DICE pursued, and he claimed it comes down to issues of working with an IP that EA does not own. "The one thing we're very focused on and they're extremely focused on is not violating the canon of Star Wars," Jorgensen said. "It's an amazing brand that's been built over many, many years. So if you did a bunch of cosmetic things, you might start to violate the canon. Darth Vader in white probably doesn't make sense, versus in black. Not to mention you probably don't want Darth Vader in pink. No offense to pink, but I don't think that's right in the canon."
It's somewhat of an unusual point, given that much or all of what happens in Battlefront II's multiplayer proves problematic as far as canon goes. You can, after all, have Hero units running around on maps where they never set foot, or have Yoda and Kylo Ren squaring off--to say nothing of droids spamming the crouch button or things of the sort. But EA does face hurdles in implementing cosmetics that it would not with Battlefield, for instance.
Whatever the case, Jorgensen reiterated that microtransactions will return to the game. "We're not giving up on the notion of MTX," he said. "We're learning and listening to the community in terms of how best to roll that out in the future, and there's more to come as we learn more. But I would say we're certainly not changing our strategy. We think the strategy of deeply engaging games, keeping the community together, and allowing people to play those games with new content coming via events over time is critical to the future of our business. We feel like we've nailed that in the sports games, and we'll continue to try and find the best model that works in the non-sports games."
The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has been released. The upcoming superhero epic brings together pretty much every hero from the last decade of Marvel movies in their fight against the evil Thanos. Check the trailer out above, and click here for a full trailer breakdown.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. It's directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who previous helmed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. It's the first of two upcoming Avengers movies that the Russo brothers have directed, with the currently untitled Avengers 4 due in May 2019.
"There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting," he said. "We're 22 movies in, and we've got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that's come before--intentionally."
Destiny 2 will be unplayable for a few hours this week as developer Bungie performs server maintenance. The company is taking the game offline for around six hours to perform the maintenance, which applies to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Players will no longer be able to log in from 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT on Thursday, November 30 (that's 2 AM AEST on December 1 in Australia). An hour later, anyone still playing the game will be booted to the title screen. Bungie says the maintenance will end five hours after that--at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM GMT (8 AM in Australia).
Bungie has provided no clues as to what--if anything--is changing; it only says that "no gameplay content or updates will be introduced with this maintenance period." It could be related to an upcoming blog post, which will detail some key changes coming to Destiny 2.
It's possible that post--which replaces the now-canceled Curse of Osiris stream--will address the game's recent XP controversy. Fans discovered that Destiny 2 was limiting the amount of XP you earned when taking part in certain activities, such as Public Events. Bungie acknowledged this hidden system was in place and disabled it, stating, "We are not happy with the results." However, this seemingly welcome change coincided with another adjustment, this one doubling the amount of XP needed to rank up at the level cap. Bungie did not acknowledge this change at first, only later confirming it to be the case and informing players it is working on an update to the in-game UI to make this change clear.

A new month means a slew of new programming to watch on Amazon Prime. The streaming video component of the service is ending the year on a high note by adding some notable franchises, the new Doctor Who Christmas special, and classic movies like Point Break to its offerings in December.
Most notable, the Rocky movies are coming to Prime. Rocky through Rocky V will all help Amazon kick off the month. They join Creed, which is already available to subscribers. Now Amazon just needs to snag the rights to Rocky Balboa and the collection will be complete.
The streamer is also adding the eight-film Marvel Animated Features collection. The cartoon movies, originally released direct-to-DVD, include Ultimate Avengers, Planet Hulk, Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme, and Thor: Tales of Asgard, among others. Originally released between 2006 and 2011, the films exist in their own universe apart from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
December also brings several more Thursday Night Football games, as the NFL presents the Saints vs. the Falcons, the Broncos vs. the Colts, and the Steelers vs. the Texans. Those games will air live through Amazon Prime.
With the arrival of the holidays comes a slew of new shows and movies on Netflix. It's a particularly busy month for the streamer, with many holiday specials joining the service, alongside several Netflix originals and a number of new library titles. With popular titles like V for Vendetta, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Disney's The Santa Clause trilogy arriving, December is going to be a busy month for streaming.
However, it's a Netflix original movie that you should be paying closest attention to. December 22 will see the premiere of Bright, starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. The fantasy crime movie is directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad) with a script by Max Landis (American Ultra). The film marks Smith's first time starring in a Netflix project and he's certainly picked an interesting one.
Bright is set in a world where humans and fantasy creatures coexist. Smith plays an LAPD officer who is partnered with an Orc (Edgerton) when they find a very powerful magic wand that has the potential to change the world. Other new entries include Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, a new season of The Ranch, and Dave Chappelle's latest stand-up comedy special. It's not all good news, though.
There are also many titles departing the service in December. Black Snake Moan, Practical Magic, and 11 seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are just a few of the movies and shows that will no longer be available after the end of 2017. So make sure you watch them while you still can.
You can take a look at the full list of what's coming and going on Netflix throughout December below. You can also see everything that's arrived in November.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
EA has released a new video for FIFA 18 featuring two celebrities playing against each other on the PlayStation 4. Ordinarily, this isn't the kind of thing that we'd report on, but one of those celebs happens to be a personal hero: Big Shaq ... the one and only.
If you're not familiar with him, Michael "Big Shaq" Deepah aka "Roadman Shaq," is a comedian and Grime artist that shot to fame with his breakout hit, "Mans Not Hot." Performed on Radio 1Xtra's Fire In The Booth, the track is a caricature of roadmans in the UK and has since become fodder for internet memes and parodies. It was even used on the Jimmy Fallon Show to introduce Shaquille O'Neal.
One of the key conceits of the Roadman Shaq character is his unwillingness to take of his jacket because mans not hot. Never hot. However, in the FIFA 18 trailer he's pitted against Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck, and if he loses he has to take off his jacket. It's a high-stakes match for Big Shaq so things get a bit heated. Perspiration ting.
It's a fun video and Big Shaq is on fine form in it; watch it above. Unfortunately, Asznee doesn't make an appearance.
FIFA 18, meanwhile, is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In GameSpot's FIFA 18 review, Oscar Dayus awarded it a 7/10, saying it excels off the pitch. "From the variety of game modes on offer and how everything's presented, to the constant updates in FUT's Team of the Week, Daily Objectives, and discussion of real-world happenings in commentary, FIFA 18 captures the world of football and confidently translates it into a video game.
"On the pitch, however, EA's soccer series is still lagging far behind PES 2018's more fluid, satisfying football. This year's improvements are welcome, but more needs to be done in the coming years if FIFA is to be a world-beater once again."
A new FIFA 18 update has been released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It makes some changes to Ultimate Team, as well as to how goalkeepers behave in matches and to how referees perceive aerial challenges, among other tweaks.
EA says the new patch fixes an issue where referees would sometimes incorrectly award a penalty when a defender wins a header but also collides with an attacking player. Other gameplay changes include decreasing the time it takes a goalkeeper to recover from a save and get back up to retrieve a loose ball after a rebound. It also fixes an issue where 'keepers would not respond to backpasses.
In Ultimate Team, there is now a limit on how long you can have the PlayStation Dynamic Menu or Xbox Home Menu open while playing FUT Champions; a timer will appear informing you that you'll forfeit the game if you don't resume before it expires. Other changes include some audio tweaks and bug fixes--take a look at the full patch notes at the bottom of this article.

This year's edition was also released on Switch, but in our FIFA 18 Nintendo Switch review we said the port is "inferior" in nearly every way when compared to the PS4 and Xbox One versions. For more on this season's soccer games, check out our comparison of FIFA 18 vs PES 2018.

Have an Xbox Live Gold membership? More free games are now waiting for you to claim, but only for a limited time. The second wave of November's Games With Gold titles are out now, presenting you with two new titles (for a total of three) to grab. With the end of the month in sight, you should act quickly.
You can use the links below to queue up your download of November's remaining free Games With Gold games. In other news, Microsoft's ongoing Black Friday sale is nearing its end. Hundreds of Xbox One and 360 games are on sale, and although the prices may not be as strong as those you can get in stores, many of them are very good. The same goes for the current Deals With Gold, which also expire soon but offer the likes of Middle-earth: Shadow of War for $36.
Update: Following the Russos' tease, Marvel has outright confirmed that an Infinity War trailer will debut this week. More specifically, it arrives tomorrow, November 29. You can check out a teaser video for it below. The original story follows.
Yesterday, they posted an image of a large cartoon number three. At the time it wasn't clear if that meant the trailer would drop in three days time or on December 3. However, the latest post is a number two, strongly suggesting that the trailer will be be released on Thursday.
In the build up to the trailer, Vanity Fair this week carried some extensive Infinity War coverage. As well as four different covers revealing the movie's main heroes, Marvel boss Kevin Feige was interviewed about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is expected that many of the franchise's veteran stars, including Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), and Chris Hemsworth (Thor), may not return for further movies beyond 2019's Avengers 4. However, Feige is confident about the MCU's future.
"There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting," he said. "We're 22 movies in, and we've got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that's come before--intentionally."
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018, with Avengers 4 following on May 3, 2019.
Luke Skywalker may only featured briefly in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but the iconic character is set make a big return to the blockbuster series next month, when The Last Jedi hits theaters. Actor Mark Hamill, who first played role back in 1977, has been speaking about his time in the series and has revealed one moment that he is not a fan of.
"When filming [the] scene I was assured my lightsaber swipe toward camera (creature not on set) would simply singe fur to scare him off," the actor tweeted. "[I was] horrified to later see amputation and unnecessary cruelty. Wampa was HUNGRY (not EVIL). Luke would never do this!"
The matter didn't end there however. After Hamill confirmed that he was "serious" about this issue, another fan brought up the fact that in A New Hope, Luke boasts that he used to "bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home." Hamill then explained that there was a big difference between those Tatooine-based creatures and the giant ice monsters of Hoth. "Womprats are aggressive, oversized disease-ridden rodents that threatened the family farm," he said. "Not the same."
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15. There has been plenty of promotional activity for the movie over past couple of weeks, including a TV spot in which Chewie smacks a Porg, and another that focuses on Luke's relationship with Rey.
Although James Cameron's Avatar stands financially as the most successful movie ever made, many fans were surprised when the director announced that he was making no fewer than four sequels. Production is underway on Avatar 2 and 3, with the first of these set to arrive in 2020. However, Cameron has now admitted that the fate of Avatar 4 and 5 depends on the success of the first two movies.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Cameron was very honest about the future of the sci-fi series. "If Avatar 2 and 3 don't make enough money, there's not going to be a 4 and 5," he said.
However, the director also explained that while connected, the movies also work as standalone narratives that aren't entirely dependent on each other. "They're fully encapsulated stories in and of themselves," he explained. "It builds across the five films to a greater kind of meta narrative, but they're fully formed films in their own right, unlike, say, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, where you really just had to sort of go, 'Oh, s**t, all right, well I guess I better come back next year.' Even though that all worked and everybody did!"
Last week, Cameron spoke about some of the technical challenges involved with making the Avatar sequels, in particular shooting motion-capture underwater. "It's never been done before and it's very tricky," he said. "Our motion capture system, like most motion capture systems, is what they call optical base, meaning that it uses markers that are photographed with hundreds of cameras. The problem with water is not the underwater part, but the interface between the air and the water, which forms a moving mirror. That moving mirror reflects all the dots and markers, and it creates a bunch of false markers.
"So, we've thrown a lot of horsepower, innovation, imagination, and new technology at the problem, and it's taken us about a year and a half now to work out how we're going to do it."
The first cast image from the Avatar sequel was revealed in September. Although specific plot details about Avatar 2 are scarce, producer Jon Landau did explain that the young cast would help shift the tone of the movie. "We never had this youthful element before, and that brings a different kind of energy to the film," he said. "They represent the future generation of Pandora and play a very significant role--not just in this movie but throughout all the movies."

Netflix has announced what's coming and going in the month of November. As usual with the streaming service, many titles--both original and not--will be added to the service leading throughout the month. One particularly interesting addition is the documentary Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond, which is made up of behind-the-scenes footage of Jim Carrey during production of Man on the Moon--the Andy Kaufman biopic.
Of course, the most anticipated release of the month for Netflix is none other than Marvel's The Punisher. The streamer's first Marvel series after Defenders is streaming now, with Jon Bernthal playing the gun-toting vigilante. November will also see the arrival of new seasons of Lady Dynamite and Broadchurch, along with movies like Chappie, Men in Black, and Piranha.
Leaving Netflix isthe Matrix Trilogy, V for Vendetta, and The Human Centipede: First Sequence, to name a few. On the TV front, the streaming service will also remove all nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother, along with four seasons of Jessie.
Pokemon Go fans have been able to catch Lugia, one of the Legendary Pokemon from Gold and Silver, since July. However the other Legendary Bird Pokemon, Ho-Oh, has so far been unavailable in-game. Luckily, following the recent Global Catch Challenge, developer Niantic has unlocked the rainbow-colored creature in Raid Battles worldwide.
"As a result of all your hard work, Ho-Oh is now appearing in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world until December 12, 2017," the company said. The Global Catch Challenge ended just recently, and unlocked Farfetch'd around the world (as well as Kangaskhan in east Asia). Since players reached the end goal of collectively catching 3 billion Pokemon, they also earned 6-hour lures and double XP.
