Wasp's not to like?
It feels a little unfair to look at Ant-Man & The Wasp too hard--it's not that the Marvel Cinematic Universe's lovable goofball screw up isn't charming in his own right, but being less than three months out from Avengers: Infinity War makes a new Ant-Man movie feel like being ushered out of a funeral straight into a Chuck-E-Cheese, complete with giant Hello Kitty Pez dispensers and wisecracking sidekicks. It's not Scott Lang's fault, of course. After all, he wasn't even around for Infinity War, so we can't exactly blame him for being off having zany misadventures while the universe hangs in the balance. But still. To say Ant-Man & The Wasp is a little awkwardly timed would be putting it lightly. The MCU might be in shambles, but the show really must go on, and Infinity Gauntlet-powered universe sundering or otherwise, we're about to head straight into a brand new Marvel solo movie. So it's time to catalog exactly what we want (and, realistically, what we expect) come July 6th.
10. Some Sort of Infinity War Connection
This one probably goes without saying. Given the aforementioned awkwardness in timing and the abrupt shift in tone between Infinity War's conclusion and Scott's general irreverence, we're going to need some kind of acknowledgement that Thanos and the Infinity Stones are a thing. Whether this means a post credits stinger that ties everything together or just some sort of shout-out in the actual movie itself to Cap's team of fugitive Avengers (the likes of which Scott ditched in favor of a plea deal, according to Natasha and Steve) doesn't actually matter. There just needs to be something. Oh, and a hint at the real title of Avengers 4 wouldn't be too bad, either.
9. A Not-So-Friendly Ghost
Between Killmonger in Black Panther and Thanos in Infinity War, Marvel has had a shockingly good run with their infamously lackluster villain roster and it's up to Ant-Man and Wasp's new foe, Ghost, to keep that trend running. We don't know much about her from the trailers other than she apparently suffered some sort of accident and can now phase through solid material (and, naturally, uses that ability to steal things), so it's difficult to make the call if she's going to end up a memorable baddie or another forgettable one-and-done. In the comics, Ghost is creepy (and typically male) villain and occasional anti-hero, so Ant-Man & The Wasp certainly has a lot of wiggle room to work in when it comes to translating elements from page to screen.
8. Enter Janet Van Dyne
It's been pretty obvious that Hank Pym's lost wife, Janet, was going to be making her live action debut eventually, especially after all the foreshadowing about Jan's disappearance in the first Ant-Man film. Since then, the news that Michelle Pfeiffer had been cast officially broke and more recently still Pfeiffer's Jan has even been given her very own character poster to highlight her presence in the movie. However, just confirming that Jan will play a featured part in Ant-Man & The Wasp isn't enough. We're going to need a solid showing from Jan's role to expand (and add a little age diversity) to the MCU's still shallow roster of female heroes. With any luck, Jan's story is going to be more than just a thinly veiled MacGuffin to motivate Hope and Scott to act. We'd really like to see her become a presence in the MCU for a good long while.
7. Goliath Rising
Laurence Fishburne is set to play Bill Foster, otherwise known in the comics as Black Goliath and later Giant-Man, a superhero who winds up with size manipulation powers of his own. Fishburne's been largely absent from most promotional material and only briefly glimpsed in the trailers and when he has been featured, he only mentions working with Hank Pym on the "Goliath program" in the past. It's likely that his role in the film won't be all that large, but we'd still really love to at least see some hints of a Goliath arriving in the present day MCU in earnest--maybe in Avengers 4? We can dream.
6. The Quantum Realm
Speaking of Jan, her story introduces a whole new arena for the MCU to play in: the Quantum Realm, or the "microverse" as it's known in the comics. We learned in the first Ant-Man that Jan had been lost to the Quantum Realm after shrinking down too small--a place where time and space become irrelevant as you just continue to shrink forever. It's a pretty bleak fate, but one that is (apparently) going to be undone--and an idea that opens the door to a whole new space for the MCU to play in. With a little more definition, the Quantum Realm could be a means to work all sorts of new and fresh material into future films.
5. More of Hank Pym's Past
With both Howard Stark and Peggy Carter officially out of the picture and Nick Fury reduced to ash at the end of Infinity War, Hank Pym represents one of our last links to the early years of S.H.I.E.L.D and the genesis of the superheroic community in the MCU. Not to mention his comics history is full of rich (and often morally dubious) stories to mine inspiration from. An expanded role for Hank in Ant-Man & The Wasp could help build towards moments in the 1990s-set Captain Marvel and pave the way for even more prequel material somewhere down the line.
4. More Luis
Michael Pena's Luis stole the show in Ant-Man as the fast-talking, easily sidetracked sidekick for Scott's out-of-costume criminal activity. He's been spotted in the trailers already, so there's no risk of Luis not being in this next movie, but we already need more. Besides, his now trademark rapid-fire recaps could be a hilarious way to get new viewers up to speed with Scott's adventures.
3. A Young Avengers Nod Or Two
One of Scott's biggest motivators is his young daughter, Cassie, with whom he struggles to connect after his stint in prison. She's too young to be much more than an elementary school kid here in the MCU, but in the comics, Cassie has a long history as a superhero in her own right. With similar powers to her dad, Cassie's most well known as a member of the Young Avengers team with the codename Stature. Obviously, it'll be a few years before live action Cassie is old enough to join any teams, but we'd really love a few Easter Eggs that point in that direction.
2. Hope In The Spotlight
Perhaps one of the most frustrating things about Ant-Man was its general lack of self awareness for Hope Van Dyne's heroic arc. For some reason, her father was more inclined to trust a random petty thief with his technology than his own daughter who'd trained her whole life for this moment. Thankfully, that's obviously getting at least partially rectified with Hope finally getting her own outfit and powers as the titular Wasp, but it's going to take more than just a costume and a codename to get her back on equal footing with Scott. She's going to need some serious time in the spotlight to really balance out her time in the shadows.
1. A (Real) Heroic Turn for Scott
Scott Lang isn't exactly A-List superhero material, but that's largely by design. His origin as set up by his first solo venture was really designed to make him more of a lovable goofball who made good than a real hero. His time spent helping Steve in Civil War, however, really started to show his potential in the MCU community at large. We'd love to see Scott really growing into his own identity as a costumed vigilante now that he's got a another chance in the spotlight. If Ant-Man is going to stick around, he's going to need to become more than just a second stringer who lucks into helping the big names out when they call on him--he's got to prove that he's actually motivated (and serious) enough to make his own mark.

Since A New Hope's debut in '77, Star Wars has taken the world by storm and been a box office juggernaut. With Solo: A Star Wars Story, the second spin-off in the franchise's history, releasing soon, we thought it would be a good idea to see just how well these movies have done in the theaters. Spoiler alert: Almost all of them did exceptionally well. Using data from Box Office Mojo, we've ranked every Star Wars movie that had a theatrical release by its box office. In addition, movies older than 10 years had their numbers adjusted for inflation accordingly. Without that adjustment, it won't reflect how impactful these movies were for their time, especially A New Hope. If you want some more Star Wars goodness, there's a live-action Star Wars series coming as well as a whole new trilogy from Rian Johnson. We got so excited that we came up with a few solo films we'd like to see. Solo is in theaters now. The movie stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke as Qi'Ra, and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. Recently, Glover gave a tour of the Millenium Falcon, which looks clean as a whistle, compared to the times we've see it in other Star Wars films.
11. The Clones Wars (2008)
The animated feature served as a lead-in to the animated series of the same name: The Clone Wars. While it had a large theatrical release, it didn't make a lot of money. This is probably because this movie is nothing more than a pilot for an excellent TV series, but not a great stand-alone entity. Domestic: $35,161,554 Foreign: $33,121,290 Total: $68,282,844
10. Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
Solo had one of the worst opening weekends for any Star Wars movie, taking in $168 million globally. Interestingly enough, it opened on Memorial Day weekend, which--in the past--was a great weekend for movie openings. Domestic: $194,865,401 Foreign: $147,102,828 Total: $341,968,229
9. Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
Say what you want about the prequels--more bad than good obviously--but even the movie that made the lowest amount in the theaters, still came pretty close to the $1 billion mark. 7. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
The final act in the prequel trilogy gave us the birth of Darth Vader, which is probably the reason it did a bit better than Episode II. Because other companies own the rights to some of Marvel's properties, characters from all across the Marvel universe have been featured in twice as many films as DC. This includes characters from The Avengers, Spider-Man, the X-Men, and more. Here are how all those films did in the box office, in order by worldwide totals, adjusted for inflation. The Punisher (1989)
The late '80s Punisher film was full of bad dialogue, a cheesy plot, and many unmemorable moments. Somehow, the Dolph Lungren driven film found a cult following. Worldwide total: $533,411 (Adjusted for Inflation: $1,036,873) The Punisher was only released in Europe.
Man-Thing (2005)

Every Battle Pass Reward In Season 4 Of Fortnite
With the release of the huge 4.0 update, Epic Games kicked off Season 4 of Fortnite: Battle Royale. That update came with a new Battle Pass for players to purchase on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile, meaning there are new rewards to obtain--including skins, emotes, dances, sprays, and more. Here is everything you need to know about all of these goodies, including how to get that much-coveted Omega skin at level 100. Rewards are for the most part only available to those who buy the the Battle Pass. It's priced at 950 V-Bucks, which is just under $10 / £8. As you play and level up, you'll earn more rewards, but you can speed up the whole process by completing the Season 4 challenges. Although the majority of those come in the form of "weekly" challenges, you have the entire season to complete them. Season 4 runs through July 9. Among the items you'll find in the premium tier of the Battle Pass are new skins, gliders, emotes, and loading screens. Also new are sprays, a type of cosmetic introduced in this patch that allow you to essentially spraypaint an image onto an object in the world. In the images above, you can see all of the major new items included in the Season 4 Battle Pass. Bear in mind, these are all cosmetic; nothing will actually impact gameplay directly. Another wrinkle is the limited number of skins that can be customized with different "styles." This is true of both the aforementioned Omega skin, as well as the Carbide skin you get immediately by purchasing the Battle Pass. With Carbide, you'll earn different styles by completing Carbide challenges, which simply involves hitting certain level milestones. Each specific challenge grants you a particular style, while there's also a Carbide pickaxe you can earn by completing three of these challenges. In terms of playable content, Fortnite has received numerous additions in recent months. Epic has consistently added new content to the game, including new weapons, items, map areas, limited-time modes, and more. Additionally, the infamous comet has finally hit, changing areas of the map and introducing gravity-defying Hop Rocks. The comet's impact has specifically created Dusty Divot, but there's also the new Risky Reels area shown in the Season 4 trailer. More intriguing are the hidden underground bases that players have discovered. One of these houses a large missile silo and generally looks to be a sort of supervillain lair. It's unclear how this factors into the ongoing "story" of sorts that Battle Royale is home to, but Epic clearly has plans to continue evolving the game outside of new weapons and things of that nature.

Daemon X Machina is an upcoming mech action game. It's a collaboration between developers First Studio and Marvelous Entertainment, with an array of notable Japanese developers. Super Mario Party
The antics continue in the upcoming mini-game collection, Super Mario Party. It's the first new game in the series in three years; the previous installment released in 2015 on Wii U. As Sam attempts to piece together the events from the night before, he will explore both the real world and surreal manifestations of his own psyche. 2018 is not even half over, so there are still a lot of PC games still to come before 2019. But next year is sure to bring a steady supply of games for the platform, a number of which were featured at E3 2018. Some of these games are things we've heard about for the first time just prior to the big convention, such as Rage 2 and Dead or Alive 6. Others are releases of games that have been anticipated for quite some time, as is the case with BioWare's new IP, Anthem, which offers a spin on the cooperative shooter style popularized by Destiny. Others still are coming in 2019 due to delays, as is the case with Crackdown 3. The open-world action game has been delayed numerous times but was expected out on both PC and Xbox One in 2018. Instead, Microsoft announced just ahead of E3 that it won't be coming until 2019. Below you can find a full list of the upcoming PC games below. PC Games Releasing in 2019 And BeyondThere are plenty of exciting new PC games announced at E3 2018. Anthem
Anthem is easily BioWare's most ambitious title. Focusing on the exploits of heavily armored freelancers on a hostile alien planet, you'll work together with other players online to take on dangerous missions while exploring the furthest reaches of the world. While this sounds a lot like Destiny, BioWare's approach to the concept of the shared-world shooter looks like an interesting change of pace from other games of the genre. Babylon's Fall

Battletoads
A brand-new Battletoads game has been announced. No gameplay was shown, but we did learn, however, that it will have three-player couch co-op and 2.5D graphics. Beyond Good & Evil 2
We saw a teaser of Ubisoft's spunky new space adventure, Beyond Good & Evil 2, at E3 last year. What we know now is that it will be a prequel to the 2003 game and that players can choose a male or female character and explore different planets. Control

Crackdown 3
Crackdown 3 is one of Microsoft's biggest upcoming Xbox One exclusives. The game utilizes cloud-based server technology for its multiplayer mode, which allows for environmental destruction on a large scale. It retains the gameplay of its predecessors, featuring a number of different organizations controlling the city of New Providence that you'll need to take down by killing their kingpins, destroying their bases, and destabilizing their infrastructures. Cyberpunk 2077
The next game from the creators of The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, is set in a dystopian, sci-fi future world. It appeared more bright and vibrant than the initial tease a few years back. It appears to take place in a dazzling city of dreams, a metropolis of giant buildings adorned with dazzling screens, where organic skin is meshed with futuristic tech. Dead or Alive 6
Kasumi, Hayate, Helena, and plenty of other familiar faces return to the arena in Dead or Alive 6. This fighting game will continue to utilize the franchise's staple complexity when it comes to combos and counters, while upping the realism of its visuals. Two new mechanics, Fatal Rush and Break Gauge, shake up the combat by introducing an easier way for beginners to compete. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: Early 2019
Devil May Cry 5
After years of waiting, we're finally getting a brand new Devil May Cry game. And in a rather surprising twist, it's a direct continuation to the first four Devil May Cry games. The debut trailer mainly focused on returning protagonist, Nero, who appears to be accompanied by an unnamed woman. However, the last few seconds indicated that Dante will return too. Doom Eternal
Doom Eternal is the upcoming sequel to the critically-acclaimed Doom reboot from 2016. The Elder Scrolls VI

Gears Tactics
Gears Tactics is a turn-based strategy spin-off of the Gears of War franchise. The game takes place 12 years before the first Gears of War. You can customize your own squad to take on threats in what was described as a more aggressive version of the classical tactics formula. Metro Exodus

Rage 2
Rage 2 is perhaps the most unlikely sequel to come out of E3 this year, but with id Software bringing Avalanche Studios along for the ride there's plenty of reason to be excited about its potential. Avalanche has years of experience crafting large and chaotic worlds in games like Mad Max and Just Cause, with vehicle combat and special effects chief among their notable talents. Id, of course, is the studio that pioneered first-person shooting and continues to deliver hard-hitting games like 2016's Doom. Dontnod Entertainment is partnering with Bandai Namco to bring Twin Mirror, a new psychological thriller, to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2019. Based on the E3 2018 trailer, the story focuses on a character named Sam who wakes up one day to discover a shocking amount of blood on his clothing with no memory of the cause. As Sam attempts to piece together the events from the night before, he will explore both the real world and surreal manifestations of his own psyche. Twin Mirror looks intriguing so far, but being one big mystery, we'll have to wait until we see more of the game to get a grasp of how we ultimately fit into Sam's harrowing investigation. E3 is always an exciting time of the year in gaming. The event is packed with big reveals for some of the newest PS4 games from companies, like Sony, Activision, Ubisoft, Square Enix, and EA. FIFA 19
FIFA is consistently one of the biggest releases of the year, and in a year where a World Cup will attract many new fans to the sport, FIFA 19 will likely be no different. The game will boast the UEFA Champions League license after primary rivals PES and Konami lost the rights to all UEFA club competitions earlier this year. The news means FIFA has a near monopoly over the world's major soccer licenses, including the 2018 World Cup, which came to FIFA 18 just recently. Hitman 2
Hitman 2 is taking its assassination simulator to new locations, like a Miami racetrack, but unlike the previous game, these will not release episodically. NBA Live 19
The latest basketball game from EA Sports was revealed; NBA Live 19 shows some new features like dances, emotes, player customization, and a bunch of fresh kicks. Nioh 2

Unravel II
Unravel 2 focuses on the adventures of Yarny, a small, woollen toy. There are plenty of new and exciting games to play on Xbox One this year, but what about next year? In this gallery we're rounding up all the Xbox One games we saw at E3 2018 that are launching next year or later. At a glance, these include titles like BioWare's multiplayer shooter Anthem, Rage 2 from Bethesda, Ubisoft's ambitious pirate game Skull & Bones, and the gorgeous-looking platformer sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Anthem
Anthem is easily BioWare's most ambitious title. Focusing on the exploits of heavily armored freelancers on a hostile alien planet, you'll work together with other players online to take on dangerous missions while exploring the furthest reaches of the world. While this sounds a lot like Destiny, BioWare's approach to the concept of the shared-world shooter looks like an interesting change of pace from other games of the genre, and we can't wait to see more. Crackdown 3
Crackdown 3 is one of Microsoft's biggest upcoming Xbox One exclusives. The game utilizes cloud-based server technology for its multiplayer mode, which allows for environmental destruction on a large scale. It retains the gameplay of its predecessors, featuring a number of different organizations controlling the city of New Providence that you'll need to take down by killing their kingpins, destroying their bases, and destabilizing their infrastructures. Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077, the next game from the creators of The Witcher franchise is set in a dystopian, sci-fi future world. We didn't hear much about Cyberpunck 2077 prior to E3, but the game had a phenomenal demo that showed off its gorgeous world and diverse range of weapons and technological marvels. Dead or Alive 6
Kasumi, Hayate, Helena, and plenty of other familiar faces return to the arena in Dead or Alive 6. This fighting game will continue to utilize the franchise's staple complexity when it comes to combos and counters, while upping the realism of its visuals. Two new mechanics, Fatal Rush and Break Gauge, shake up the combat by introducing an easier way for beginners to compete. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: Early 2019
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Xbox One console exclusive Ori and the Blind Forest was a critical hit when it launched in 2015, and now developer Moon Studios is back with a sequel. Ori and the Will of the Wisps builds on the first game's ingenious platforming and compelling story, and we can't wait to see more. Platforms: Xbox One, PC | Release Date: 2019
Rage 2
Rage 2 is perhaps the most unlikely sequel to come out of E3 this year, but with id Software bringing Avalanche Studios along for the ride there's plenty of reason to be excited about its potential. Avalanche has years of experience crafting large and chaotic worlds in games like Mad Max and Just Cause, with vehicle combat and special effects chief among their notable talents. Id, of course, is the studio that pioneered first-person shooting and continues to deliver hard-hitting games like 2016's Doom. It could be a match made in heaven, but we won't know until Rage 2 ships. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: 2019
Sea of Solitude
Sea of Solitude is an upcoming EA Originals game about a lonely girl whose emotions manage to turn her into a monster and her surroundings into a flooded post-apocalyptic world. Skull & Bones
Skull & Bones sets sail in the Indian Ocean, setting you on a quest to become a pirate of the ages. The game will feature single- and multiplayer options and is centered around naval warfare. Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC | Release Date: 2019
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is the upcoming Star Wars game created by Respawn Entertainment, the studio behind the well-received Titanfall 2. Jedi Fallen Hunt takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope when the galaxy was at its darkest. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC (Expected) | Release Date: Holiday 2019
Twin Mirror
Dontnod Entertainment is partnering with Bandai Namco to create Twin Mirror, a new psychological thriller. Based on the E3 2018 trailer, the story focuses on a character named Sam who wakes up one day to discover a shocking amount of blood on his clothing and no memory as to the cause. As Sam attempts to piece together the events from the night before, he will explore both the real world and surreal manifestations of his own psyche. Twin Mirror looks intriguing so far, but being one big mystery, we'll have to wait until we see more of the game to get a grasp of how we ultimately fit into Sam's harrowing investigation. Battletoads
A brand-new Battletoads game has been announced. No gameplay was shown, but we did learn that it will have three-player couch co-op and 2.5D graphics. Control
Control is the latest game by Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Alan Wake and Quantum Break. The debut trailer showcased a strangely shifting world, with a protagonist who can fly and control objects using telekinesis. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: 2019
Devil May Cry 5
After years of waiting, we're finally getting a brand new Devil May Cry game. And in a rather surprising twist, it's a direct continuation to Devil May Cry 4. The debut trailer mainly focused on returning protagonist Nero, who appears to be accompanied by an unnamed woman. However, the last few seconds indicated that Dante will return too. Doom Eternal
Doom Eternal is the upcoming sequel to the critically-acclaimed Doom reboot from 2016. The game takes everything that the previous game did and pushes it forward: the Doomslayer is more powerful than before, the number of enemies have doubled, and it takes place on Earth. Dying Light 2
In the sequel to the first-person apocalyptic survival shooter, players will have plenty more chances to practice their sweet parkour while killing zombies. The Elder Scrolls VI
Bethesda finally announced the next game in the Elder Scrolls series: The Elder Scrolls VI. No other details about the game were provided at E3 outside of a short teaser. It shows a mountainous region and some fog accompanied by a version of the iconic Dovahkiin music. A setting wasn't specified, although fans are sure to do some sleuthing to narrow down the list of possibilities. Hopefully, we'll get more details sooner than later. Gears 5
Gears of War returns with its fifth entry. This time around you play as Kait, who originally appeared in Gears of War 4. Gears 5 sees Kait embark on a journey to discover the truth behind the visions plaguing her mind--most likely an effect of the Locust necklace she inherited from her grandmother. Kingdom Hearts III
We've gotten sneak peeks at some of the worlds and characters that Kingdom Hearts III will contain, including Hercules, Monsters Inc., and Toy Story. We're not sure exactly where the story will specifically take Sora and friends, but we do know it is the direct sequel to Kingdom Hearts II and an end to the saga. Metro Exodus
Metro Exodus puts players back in control of Artyom. Even though Artyom will be venturing above ground this time, there will still be plenty of mutated creatures to gun down and unsettling environments to explore. Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC | Release Date: February 22, 2019
The Quiet Man

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Session
Session is a brand-new skateboarding simulation game, which was kickstarted early last year. Not much else was shown about the game, but it's at least great to hear that the skateboarding video game genre isn't dead. Platforms: Xbox One | Release Date: 2019
Starfield
For the first time in 25 years, Bethesda is creating a new IP. We don't know much about Starfield. However, based on the game's title and brief teaser trailer, it's probably safe to say that this RPG will take place in space. Wolfenstein Youngblood
Wolfenstein Youngblood is set in an alternate 1980s Paris and follows the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Every PS4 Game Coming In 2019 And Beyond
E3 2018 has finally ended. It brought all kinds of leaks, announcements, trailers, gameplay footage, and more. Plenty of games shown of at E3 are coming to PS4 in 2018. However, there are also plenty coming beyond the end of this year. In this feature, we're going to take a look at all the games at E3 2018 that we know are coming to Sony's flagship console in 2019 or later. That list includes big games like BioWare's new multiplayer RPG, Anthem; Ubisoft's pirate game Skull & Bones; and Sucker Punch's Infamous: Second Son follow-up, Ghost of Tsushima. While on the road, Deacon must battle Freakers, zombie-like humans and animals that have become mindless and violent and travel in fast-moving hordes, much like the zombies in World War Z. Déraciné

It's hard to deny that Jack-Jack, the youngest member of the Parr family, is the breakout hit of Incredibles 2. After getting little time to shine in the first film, he takes center stage in Pixar's newest superhero adventure. If you haven't seen the new movie, beware that spoilers follow. In the new film, several of Jack-Jack's powers are on display and it's entirely possible you might have missed some of them. In fact, he has 18 powers in all, some of which were only seen in the first Incredibles and a 2005 short film. So, you need a complete guide to Jack-Jack's powers? Luckily, GameSpot has you covered. After you're all caught up on this tiny super, take a look at our Incredibles 2 spoiler review and a look at why, exactly, it took almost 15 years to get a follow-up to a movie that so dearly deserved one.
Laser eyes
Let's start simple. Jack-Jack is an actual laser gun. When Bob realized his youngest can shoot lasers from his eyes, he couldn't be any happier--especially when he realizes he can wield him like a weapon.
Emitting electricity
Of course, he can also emit electricity. It's not quite as controlled as the lasers, but just as scary.
Spontaneous combustion
As his arch nemesis--a raccoon--learned the hard way, Jack-Jack's attitude isn't all that's fiery. He can actually burst into flames, burning everything around him. Don't worry, though. It causes him no harm.
Defying gravity
This particular power was first introduced in the 2005 animated short Jack-Jack Attack, which showed the youngest member of the Parr family tormenting his babysitter. Gravy and physics don't matter to Jack-Jack, who spends some time sitting comfortably on the ceiling.
Levitation
That short also introduced the idea that Jack-Jack can levitate and float, though it doesn't seem like he has much control over the direction he travels in.
Inter-dimensional travel
This might be the scariest of Jack-Jack's powers. He can simply disappear into a ball of light and wind up in another dimension. You can still hear him giggling to himself from wherever he is, but who knows where he ends up or what that version of the world looks like. Thankfully, a cookie will bring him back.
Demon monster transformation
Though it was first seen in the first Incredibles movie, Incredibles 2 spent a lot of time with the demonic monster Jack-Jack can transform into and it was downright scary.
Multiplication
Jack-Jack is like Bebe's Kids. He don't die, he multiplies. What, that reference is too old? Fair enough. If one Jack-Jack isn't enough, never fear. He can duplicate himself repeatedly. In fact, there's no telling what the limit on Jack-Jacks is. The question now is whether each of those duplicates has the same powers as Jack-Jack Prime.
Phasing through walls
As if traveling to different dimensions isn't enough, this baby can simply crawl right through a wall, window, or anything else standing in his way.
Teleportation
And if where he's going is too far away, Jack-Jack can teleport. In Jack-Jack Attack, every time the babysitter gets close to him, he simply teleports across the room.
Turning to metal
While the first Incredibles barely touched on Jack-Jack's powers, there is one that didn't appear in part 2. When being kidnapped by Syndrome, he transformed into metal, weighing the villain down.
Extreme vibration
When the metal trick didn't work, Jack-Jack also vibrated to the point that Syndrome started to lose his grip.
Massive growth
In a power ripped right out of the script for Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, Jack-Jack can grow instantly, becoming a massive version of himself that you do not want to mess with.
Shapeshifting
As Edna Mode learned in one of the funniest moments of Incredibles 2, Jack-Jack can alter his shape to look like pretty much anything he wants--including E herself.
Invulnerability
This particular power isn't outright mentioned, but Jack-Jack seems pretty invulnerable. After all, how else could he walk away from a fight with a raccoon that has razor sharp claws without a scratch?
Telekinesis
Another power that the movie doesn't spend too much time on is Jack's telekinesis abilities. How else does he get those goggles off of Elastigirl's eyes, though?
Flight
Though it's set off by a sneeze in the movie, Jack-Jack certainly seems to have the power of flight as he shoots into the air, before phasing through the ceiling.
Turning into a blob
There's no superhero way of saying this, but Jack-Jack can essentially turn into a blob of silly putty, as his raccoon foe learned.

E3 2018 is over, so that means it's time to tally the announcements and map out the countless new games that are on the way, both in the short- and long-term. At last year's E3, Xbox primarily used its platform to announce the Xbox One X. The console is undoubtedly a powerhouse, but gamers have been wondering which games they'll be able to play on Microsoft's newest piece of hardware. After this E3, no one has to wonder anymore! Most game announcements were for big multiplatform franchises, such as Fallout 76 and Battlefield V. Players were already expecting to see these blockbuster titles going into E3, but many of these games offered a few surprises. Fallout 76 is differentiating itself from its predecessors by putting players into a multiplayer-focused sandbox that's always online. Battlefield V is making significant changes to the franchise's tried-and-true formula by implementing a new battle royale mode. Not every game coming to Xbox One this year belongs to a massive multiplatform franchise though. Some developers are releasing smaller titles, like Unravel Two and Overcooked 2. Exclusives, like Ashen and Forza Horizon 4, round out the Xbox One's growing library and help the console differentiate itself from its competition. Battlefield V
For 2018's Battlefield V, EA and DICE are taking players back to World War II. Like Battlefield 1, its single-player campaign will be comprised of shorter War Stories that focus on specific aspects of the war. Multiplayer will see the introduction of playable female protagonists and--in a change from recent entries--dump the season pass model in favor of free post-launch maps and updates. Bloodstained: Rituals of the Night
After taking a break from Castlevania-style games, former series producer Koji Igarashi has returned with his latest iteration of the formula--though, this time without franchise owners Konami. With Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Igarashi promises an experience much like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, which is something longtime fans are eager to experience. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Activision's juggernaut shooter series is mixing things up this year, as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will not have a single-player story. While a campaign may be out, battle royale is in, through a new fight-to-the-death mode called Blackout. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: October 12
Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy
One of gaming's most recognizable mascots was remastered last year in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. This June, the remaster bundle--which contains the original Crash Bandicoot, as well as sequels Cortex Strikes Back and Warped--is coming to Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Code Vein
Code Vein is a vampire-themed action-RPG set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian world. You'll brandish hulking swords and traverse a world filled with all sorts of grotesque creatures. The game is being developed by the same Bandai Namco team responsible for the God Eater series. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: September 28
The Crew 2
Ubisoft's new racing game The Crew 2 expands on the open-world nature of its predecessor by offering a much more diverse array of vehicles. That means more than just additional car types--you can drive planes, motorcycles, and boats. Not only that, but you can seamlessly transitions from one vehicle type to the next. Destiny 2 Forsaken
Destiny 2's next DLC expansion, Forsaken, appears to be this game's attempt at a Taken King-style revamp. It introduces new areas set on the Reef, new Supers, and a mode called Gambit that blends PvP and PvE. You'll also get the expected additions like more Exotic gear to collect, while a free update will introduce some other improvements (such as a new in-game achievement system) for all players. FIFA 19
FIFA is consistently one of the biggest releases of the year, and in a year where a World Cup will attract many new fans to the sport, FIFA 19 will likely be no different. The game will boast the UEFA Champions League license after primary rivals PES and Konami lost the rights to all UEFA club competitions earlier this year. The news means FIFA has a near monopoly over the world's major soccer licenses, including the 2018 World Cup, which came to FIFA 18 just recently. Hitman 2
Hitman 2 is taking its assassination simulator to new locations, like a Miami racetrack, but unlike the previous game, these will not release episodically. IO Interactive promises even more methods of taking out targets this time around, so we're curious to play around with Agent 47's new killer options--and track down the mysterious Shadow Client. Madden NFL 19
EA's annual American football franchise returns this year and promises better visuals and gameplay. Franchise mode sees new additions in Madden NFL 19, which is good news after 2017's game left a lot to be desired in that department. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One | Release Date: August 10
Mega Man 11
Like the classic Mega Man games from the NES era, Mega Man 11 puts you in the metallic boots of a boy robot who takes on stages and their upgrade-gifting bosses in any order. Unlike those classics, it sports a sharp cartoonish art style and new abilities like bullet time and a super-powered Mega Buster. NBA Live 19
The latest basketball game from EA Sports was revealed; NBA Live 19 shows some new features like dances, emotes, player customization, and a bunch of fresh kicks. Red Dead Redemption 2
The much-anticipated follow up to the Red Dead Redemption, RDR2 is actually a prequel to the first game, set 12 years earlier and focusing on the exploits of the infamous Van der Linde gang. You'll play as outlaw Arthur Morgan, who holds the gang together as you face government agents and rival gangs. There will be shootouts, heists, and exploration, but on a much larger map than the original, along with a cameo from the first game's protagonist, John Marston. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Lara is back on her tomb raiding spree in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This time, she's in the thick of the jungles of Latin America in search for a Mayan relic connected to her father. Little does she know she's about to set off the Mayan apocalypse, requiring her to save the world. Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC | Release Date: September 14
SoulCalibur VI
The latest entry in the classic fighting series, SoulCalibur VI takes place in the 16th century and revisits the events of the original SoulCalibur. Like previous installments, the game pits two weapon-wielding fighters against each other in a 3D arena and introduces a new battle mechanic that allows players to defend and retaliate in slow motion. The game also brings back several classic characters, and adds crossover character Geralt from The Witcher. Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: 2018
Spyro Reignited Trilogy
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a collection of remastered versions of the first three Spyro the Dragon games, which all first released on the original PlayStation. Much like last year's Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, each game in the series has been completely redone with HD graphics with every level mapped faithfully. Team Sonic Racing
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed was an unexpected hit after its launch back in 2012, and now--finally--we're getting a follow-up. This time round, Sega has dropped the non-Sonic universe characters, but aside from a vague release window of "winter," we don't yet know much else about this promising racer. Unravel Two
Unravel Two focuses on the adventures of Yarny, a small, woolen toy. According to developer Coldwood, the sequel will be a more upbeat affair than the original, with a slight shift away from puzzler and towards the platformer end of the spectrum. Yarny is more agile than before, and this is utilized in some of the story mode's trickier sections. New to experience this time around is the addition of drop-in / drop-out co-op play. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is the latest game by Dontnod Entertainment. It takes place in the universe of Life is Strange, and puts you in control of a young boy who's greatest talent is his imagination. He thinks of himself as a superhero and explorer who fights against evil forces on his journey. Its events and characters are directly connected to the upcoming second season of Life is Strange. Fallout 76
Fallout 76 is the latest entry in the tenured post-apocalyptic RPG franchise. It's the earliest game in the Fallout timeline, and will be multiplayer-focused and always online. From its recent trailers alone, the game has already captured the attention of the series' most ravenous fans. We're already imagining what sort of fights and awkward encounters we'll get into with others during our post-apocalyptic jaunt through the American wasteland. Forza Horizon 4
Microsoft and Playground Studios are back for another round of Forza Horizon, the open-world racing spin-off of Forza Motorsport on Xbox One and PC. The last time we saw the series was in 2016, with the game set in a condensed version of Australia. This time around it's set in Britain where you and other players are free to drive around the world at your leisure and participate in a variety of racing events. Nier Automata: Become As Gods Edition

Overcooked 2
Overcooked 2 is serving up more chefs, kitchens, recipes, and co-op madness. You can group up with friends or go it alone to cook up a storm by chopping, steaming, and frying your way through levels that keep you on your toes. Ashen
In Ashen, players take on the role of a faceless warrior who's looking for a home, but finds themselves wandering a dangerous world. Thankfully, death is never the end, as the protagonist resurrects over and over. Like Dark Souls, Ashen pits players against fierce enemies and larger-than-life bosses in a combat system based around stamina and weighing risk vs. reward. We Happy Few
We Happy Few is an upcoming indie game about a small English town that's become hooked on a hallucinogenic drug, called Joy, that make people happy. Transference

PC Games Releasing In 2018
E3 2018 is finally over, and that means news on countless new games are on the way, both in the short- and long-term. While much of the focus of the annual conference centered around the console manufacturers' respective media briefings, that doesn't mean that PC games weren't also a big part of the show. Case in point, there are tons of games for PC well worth looking forward to before the end of the year. That includes many of the big multiplatform games, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V. With so many games being announced and showcased at E3 2018, it can be tough keeping track of all of them and their respective release dates. After all, not everything at the show is scheduled to come out this year. To help keep you up to date with the biggest PC game you can expect to play this year, we've gathered all of the biggest ones here for your reference along with their release dates/windows.
