There may not be any major new Switch games arriving this week, but the eShop has added three more titles in the US.
The first of these is another entry in the ACA NeoGeo series, 1996 golf game Neo Turf Masters ($8), which features two-player support. Next up is New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers ($10), a single-player town-building sim. And finally is a port of Othello ($5), a version of the classic game Reversi. Two-player support is offered with a single Joy-Con, or the game can be played used the touchscreen itself. All three games are ports or updated versions of existing games for Switch.
You can grab all three of these games right now on the eShop in the US. You can see screenshots of them all in the gallery above.
Coming up next week, on March 28, is an original Switch game, Has-Been Heroes. This is a sort of strategy/action game hybrid that was showcased during the big Switch event in January. It'll be available digitally and physically for $20.
The cult TV show Twin Peaks returns to screens in May, and new cast images have been released. They can seen on a series of Entertainment Weekly covers--check them out in the gallery below:
The first cover shows director and co-creator David Lynch (who also plays Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole) with Kyle McLachlan (Agent Dale Cooper), Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne), and Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer/Maddy Ferguson).
The second features James Marshall (James Hurley), Everett McGill (Big Ed Hurley), and Wendy Robie (Nadine Hurley), while the third reveals Madchen Amick (Shelly Johnson), Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), and Peggy Lipton (Norma Jennings).
EW has also published a batch of behind-the-scenes images--check them out here.
The two-hour premiere debuts on Showtime on May 21 at 9 PM ET, and the following two episodes will be available online immediately afterwards. Lynch has described the show as "a feature film in 18 parts."
Titanfall 2's next big DLC pack drops next week, developer Respawn has announced. The add-on is called Colony Reborn--and it will be free to all players.
The biggest piece of content included is a new map--or rather, an old map. Colony originally appeared in the first Titanfall game, and will make its return on March 30 when the Reborn pack launches on all platforms. The DLC pack also includes a new gun, the R-101, which returns from the original Titanfall bearing an ACOG scope. The last of the free content is a new execution, called Curb Check. Take a look at the finisher in action above.
In addition, Colony Reborn adds new paid cosmetic content, including two new Titan skins, some new camos, and more. Find out more on the Titanfall blog.
To celebrate the launch of Colony Reborn, Respawn is running a free weekend for Titanfall 2 from March 30 through April 3. This will include access to the full suite of multiplayer modes, as well as the Gauntlet training mission and the first single player campaign level. Those two missions will remain free to play forever, too. Plus, you'll be able to grab double XP that whole weekend, so it might be the perfect time to dive back into the movement-based shooter.

Having announced in January that it will again host its own separate E3 event this year, Electronic Arts has shared a list of some of the games that will be at EA Play in June.
This year's slate of sports games can also be played at the event, including Madden NFL 18, FIFA 18, and--most notably, given the series' prolonged absence--NBA Live 18.
As with last year's event, EA Play is open to the public, though you will need tickets in order to attend. The Hollywood-based event takes place June 10-12, just prior to the start of E3. Tickets go on sale on April 20 at 9 AM PST.
Last year's EA Play marked a major departure for EA. The company abandoned its usual space on the E3 show floor and instead launched its own event that was open in part to the public (E3 is an industry- and media-only event, although this year's opens partially to the public). It still had its traditional press conference where it announced new games, but the rest of the time was primarily devoted to allowing hands-on time with its games.
Many For Honor fans are not happy at the game's microtransaction pricing--both in terms of price and sheer volume. Now, publisher Ubisoft has responded to the feedback, at the same time as finishing up a new, minor patch.
When Redditor bystander007 worked out that, to unlock all For Honor's added content--that's emotes, outfits, and a few other minor items--it would cost you around $732, some of the community felt aggrieved. That prompted game director Damien Kieken to respond in a recent Q&A session by saying, "We never had an intention for you to unlock everything in the game. For us that doesn't really make any sense.
"We applied RPG mechanics on top of a fighting game in a PvP environment," the developer continued. "Let's say in World of Warcraft, you would never try to unlock everything for all the characters. Same thing in any MOBA.
"We forecasted that most players would play one to three characters--and that's what we see today in our game. Most players focus on one character, one hero, and others go up to two or three heroes. All of the design is based around that. The cosmetic items ... for us, are endgame content."
Judging by the For Honor subreddit, it seems the fighting game's community is not completely happy with Ubisoft's response.
In unrelated news, Ubisoft has finished up a new For Honor update that focuses mostly on bug fixes and other minor improvements--take a look at the full patch notes below. It's unclear when exactly the patch will drop; all we know is that the Xbox One version "will be updated next week."

By Anonymous on Mar 23, 2017 10:31 pm Dave and Oscar slither their way through indie platform adventure Snake Pass. Snake Pass is releasing on March 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows.
A new trailer for the DC team-up Justice League is due this weekend. In advance of that, a short teaser focusing on Aquaman has been released --check it out below:
An alleged poster has surfaced on Italian website Lega Network that reveals both a name (Destiny 2) and a release date (September 8). Another poster has also been shared on Imgur (pictured below) that references a beta that may be available first on PS4, an arrangement that wouldn't come as a surprise given the first Destiny's beta initially launched on PS3 and PS4.
Both Eurogamer and Kotaku have confirmed with sources that the posters are real, with the latter also suggesting Destiny 2 will be formally announced soon.
We got some sense of what to expect from Destiny 2 last month. As part of Activision's latest earnings briefing, the publisher provided some high-level details regarding the game.
"[W]e've got a big reveal planned and I'm going to let the game do most of the talking, but I'll give you some broad strokes," CEO Eric Hirshberg said in February. "I think that our team and our great partners at Bungie are doing a very nice job on two fronts. One, if you're one of the millions of players who's really invested in Destiny 1 and have put a lot of hours and passion into that game, you're going to love this game, and there's a lot more of what you love here.
"For anyone who either hasn't yet tried Destiny or hasn't played in a while, we think we've made a sequel that's going to have a lot for them to love, too. The cornerstone of that is a great cinematic story that's been a real focus with a great cast of memorable, relatable characters, coupled with some very nice ways to make the game more accessible to a casual player. Without losing anything that our core players love, we've made it more accessible to someone who just wants to have a great, more casual first-person action experience."

Earlier this week, GTA V released its latest update to GTA Online, which features the new tools for stunt race creation.
Meanwhile Rockstar is teasing new content on the way for the game's multiplayer, including classic GTA vehicles, new play modes, and a "particularly morbid muscle car."
Capcom Fighters Network, the service underpinning Street Fighter 5's online component, will see some changes as part of an effort to improve the overall experience.
The list of tweaks and changes were detailed on the Capcom Unity website, and will be available for PC players to beta test on March 28 at 1 PM PST/8 PM GMT until April 3 at 12 PM PST/8 PM GMT. The beta client will be available to Steam users and "completely free to play for both current and new players."
"Since this beta is to test our new online infrastructure, it will only feature Online Modes," Capcom explained. "The beta is entirely separate from the base PC client but players' current CFN username, rank, standing and other details will carry over to the beta client.
"For new players, they will be able to download the PC client for free and set up a new CFN profile to play for the duration of the test. All data recorded during the beta is for testing purposes only and once the beta has concluded, all replays, Fight Money earned, progress and player data will be deleted. To encourage players to participate in the beta test, all released characters, including Kolin will be unlocked for play."
Those that participate in the beta will also get an opportunity to trial some of the balance adjustments being made to Street Fighter 5 for its second season of content. Capcom has said once this beta period has finished, it will "make further adjustments to optimise the new CFN and will make its full release on both PS4 and PC shortly after."
Here's the list of changes coming to CFN, as detailed by Capcom.
Rage Quit Penalty System: Back in December, we implemented an update to the Rage Quit System which displayed a special Player Profile Icon for the worst offenders and the most honorable players. These icons are working correctly now and matchmaking logic now takes into account your online behavior and frequent disconnectors will be matched with similar opponents.
Ranked and Casual Match Loading Times: We understand many players were not happy with the load times when entering online matches. There will now be a shorter transition when going into a Ranked or Casual Match.
Battle Lounge Country Flags: Country flags should now properly load in Battle Lounges, allowing players to locate competition in their region.
Training Mode – User Settings Saved: Training Mode settings are now saved and will carry over to the next time the mode is accessed.
Matchmaking Improvements: It should now take less time to find an opponent in online matches. We've also added logic which avoids frequently being matched with the same opponent repeatedly.
Fighter Profile Stats: More detailed stats will be tracked and presented on your Fighter Profile.
Country/League Based Rankings: Players will now be able to filter leaderboards based on Country or League.
Friend Management System: In addition to adding a player to your Favorites, you can now add Friends and follow them on CFN. You can now also Blacklist players.
Interactive Timeline: On the CFN home menu, a live feed of your Friends' activities is presented on an interactive Timeline. Using the Timeline, you can immediately add a recent match to your Replay List, view a Fighter Profile, manage your Friends, and adjust Timeline display settings.
In-Game Announcer Voice: The in-game announcer will give you stats on both you and your opponent using data pulled from the server.
"We understand that Street Fighter 5's server performance has been a less than optimal experience for many of our players," reads a statement posted alongside the CFN changes announcement. "The improved CFN experience is the result of rebuilding it from the ground up to address the most pressing issues that will ultimately result in a better online experience.
"The new CFN server updates mark a new beginning for playing SF5 online and we encourage our players to participate in the PC Beta Test to see what improvements we have in store."
The last major content release for Street Fighter 5 was the introduction of Kolin, a fighter that uses the power of ice to summon "deadly icicles" and "frigid blasts." She also uses the Russian martial art of Systema, which is all about using an opponent's momentum against them. You can see more of Kolin here.
With April drawing near, Microsoft has announced the month's slate of free Games With Gold titles.
On Xbox One, the month starts out with Ryse: Son of Rome, the Crytek-developed game that was available at the system's launch. On April 16, it'll be joined by The Walking Dead: Season Two; Season One was previously offered as a free to Xbox Live Gold members back in October 2015.
For those on Xbox 360, the first half of April offers up Darksiders. It's then followed by Assassin's Creed: Revelations for the second half of the month. Both games are also playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility.
It's not too late to claim some of March's free games, which you can read more about here. Evolve, one of the two Xbox One games for the month, will be available until April 15.
The full schedule for April's Games With Gold availability follows below.
The official website for the Total War series is now home to a countdown clock, apparently teasing a reveal of a new game in the series.
If you head over to the site now, it'll redirect you to a countdown slated to end next Friday, March 31. The background features artwork depicting a misty scene of trees and bushes with a larger, pyramid-like structure in the distance.
However, there's speculation (including on places like the Total War subreddit) that this scene depicts Warhammer's Lustria, and that the countdown is for a Total War: Warhammer sequel. The Creative Assembly has plans for a trilogy of Warhammer games, and a recent developer update provided some insight into where things stand on that front.
"Excitement continues to build amongst the development team as the second part of the trilogy comes together, particularly as the distinctive races take shape and their playstyles solidify in campaign and battle," the studio said last week. "We're equally excited at the prospect of sharing details about the game's gigantic scale and content with our community and wider fanbase, as those plans come together in parallel."
Regarding the new historical game, it said, "Our next major historical release is now in full production with the game design locked and asset creation fully underway. The game retains the same strong focus on character design that infused previous major releases, with the key personalities of the period in particular being an early priority for us now; as such there are some vibrant and striking renders plastered around the studio, with eye-catching combat animations garnering some serious attention too."
Other projects in the works include additional Total War: Warhammer content and updates, continued development on Total War: Arena, and a separate project from a new comprised of members of the Rome II and Attila teams.
We'll have more on the new Total War games as it's announced.
