This provides our latest look at the superhero team-up film, which features Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
It arrives in theaters on November 17, following the June release of the Wonder Woman movie. A dedicated Aquaman film is due out next year, with Flash and Batman movies also planned for the future.
DC Comics recently launched several books based on classic Hanna-Barbera properties. Animated shows such as The Flintstones, Wacky Racers, and Scooby-Doo have been reimagined in strange ways. For example, the Scooby Apocalypse comic features the Mystery Incorporated kids in a world overrun by zombies, and the Future Quest series includes characters from Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, Harvey Birdman, and more.
This coming week, DC is taking the Hanna-Barbera revitalization a step further by releasing comic book annuals (oversized comics released once a year) featuring crossovers with the animated characters and regular DC ones. These include: Green Lantern/Space Ghost, Booster Gold/The Flintstones, Adam Strange/Future Quest, and Suicide Squad/Banana Splits. Each also features a backup stories with characters such as the Jetsons, Top Cat, Ruff 'n' Ready, and Top Cat.
Here's a 13-page look from the Suicide Squad/Banana Splits issue, including a look at the Snagglepuss backup.
The Banana Splits was an hour-long live-action variety show featuring hosts in animal costumes posing as a rock band. The show, which ran from 1968-1970, also included live-action and animated segments.
In a new story, the Banana Splits are mistaken for metahumans and thrown into Belle Reve. Once in the prison, Amanda Waller recruits them for a secret mission. With Waller, "recruit" means she's forcing them to do her bidding by placing a bomb inside their skulls. The mission: rescue the Suicide Squad. It's up to Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper, and Snorky to rescue Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Katana, and Croc.
Here's something cool about Deadpool 2: Collider heard from sources that veteran actor Brad Pitt considered playing the role of Cable in the upcoming sequel.
According to the report, both film studio Fox and Pitt himself were enthusiastic. However, Pitt has since moved on, but those who want to see the Fight Club actor in the film shouldn't lose all hope yet. "Since this role is very much in flux, there's the possibility that things could change," Collider reported.
One thing that might complicate matters for Pitt is that he is scheduled to star in and produce the zombie movie World War Z 2, which is in the works but not yet fully confirmed.
Streaming giant Netflix and comedy veteran Adam Sandler have reached a new deal under which Sandler will make a further four movies for the digital platform, it was announced this week.
Sandler's original deal with Netflix was for four movies, two of which--The Ridiculous Six and The Do-Over--have already been released; the next one, Sandy Wexler, premieres on April 14. The fourth has not been announced yet, but Deadline, which has all the details on the new deal, reports that comedian Chris Rock might be involved in this project.
Sandler's Netflix films have not received the strongest reviews, but they have been massively successful, apparently.
"Adam Sandler [is] one of the leading comedians in the film world, and his movies have proven to be extremely successful with our subscribers around the world," Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said. "We are thrilled at the opportunity to extend our partnership with Adam and his entire team at Happy Madison and keep the world laughing."
There is no word yet on any details for Sandler's next Netflix movies. We'll report back with more details as they become available.
Brian Fargo, an industry veteran who worked at original Fallout developer Interplay and now heads up inXile, has announced that he will retire in 2019 after his studio's latest game, Wasteland 3, comes out.
Some of inXile's other in-development projects include The Bard's Tale and the virtual reality game The Mage's Tale.
Fargo told Eurogamer that after decades of work in the video game business, it's time to take a break.
"I love this industry, but I've been at this since 1981. I've been at it with Ken and Roberta Williams [Sierra co-founders], Trip Hawkins [EA founder], the guys from Brøderbund," he said. "I look at my friends, they have a lot more spare time than I do. It's a very intense business. It's all encompassing. It seems like I should relax for a little bit."
It remains to be seen who will replace Fargo as inXile's top boss, though he said he's confident in his team and their abilities. "I've been training these people for years to make me obsolete. That's what you have to do as a leader of a company," he said.
Finally, Fargo stressed that inXile, as it stands today, is a profitable company with a bright future.
"We don't owe any external people any money. We don't have any debt," he said. "The other shares are with some of the employees of the company. So as long as it continues doing good product it should be fine."
WWE's PPVs seem to be getting longer and longer, and the next one coming up is the company's largest event of the year, Wrestlemania. In 2016, the event lasted seven hours, including a two hour preshow. 2017's Wrestlemania 33 is a touch shorter, coming in at six and a half hours.
Currently, Wrestlemania will air on PPV and the WWE Network on Sunday, April 2 at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT. A Kickoff Show will air on the WWE Network prior to the main event, starting at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. The second hour of the show will also air on the USA Network.
WWE's larger PPVs, which include Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and Wrestlemania, are typically longer shows, each of them hitting the six-hour mark over the past year. Wrestlemania going for almost seven isn't out of the question.
Considered the Super Bowl of sports entertainment, the first Wrestlemania took place in 1985 at New York City's Madison Square Garden. The show lasted two hours and sixteen minutes.
Splatoon 2's Global Testfire starts today and will run throought the weekend. The app is available to download on Nintendo Switch now.
You can grab the application from the Switch eShop, though until the event starts, booting the game up will just give you the following message: "The Splatoon 2 Global Testfire hasn't started yet."
You won't have to wait long, however. The first trial kicks off on March 24 at 12 PM PST / 3 PM EST / 7 PM GMT. Players have a number of limited-time slots in which to try the game:

A new trailer for the DC team-up Justice League is due this weekend. In advance of that, a short teaser focusing on Aquaman has been released--check it out below:
Andrzej Sapkowski, author of the Witcher novels upon which the popular game series is based, doesn't make any money when you buy a copy of one of the games. That's not because of any malfeasance on developer CD Projekt Red's part, but because Sapkowski opted for an upfront payment when he was originally presented with a deal.
Sapkowski recounted the dealmaking process in an interview with Eurogamer, saying CD Projekt Red "brought a big bag of money," which is all he was really asking for. "What I expect from an adaptation: a big bag of money. That is all," he said.
However, the games have gone on to become far more successful than he (and likely CD Projekt Red) ever anticipated. "I was stupid enough to sell them rights to the whole bunch," he said. "They offered me a percentage of their profits. I said, 'No, there will be no profit at all--give me all my money right now! The whole amount.' It was stupid. I was stupid enough to leave everything in their hands because I didn't believe in their success. But who could foresee their success? I couldn't."
That said, he does acknowledge the quality of the games and believes the acclaim they've received is deserved.
"The game is made very well, and they merit all of the beneficiaries they get from it," he said. "They merit it. The game is very good, well done, well done."
Sapkowski went on to say that, while he doesn't play games, he doesn't have anything against them or those who do play them. The full interview is a delightful read and well worth a look at Eurogamer.
Viral hit Conan Exiles has received a new update, adding a bunch of new features and some exploit fixes.
The multiplayer game, which is still in early access, now contains a "decay" system for buildings: old buildings will be "cleaned up" over time. This feature is disabled by default on private servers and enabled by default on public ones, according to the patch notes.
The next new feature is a dyeing system, which allows you to brew new colors to dye your armor with. Just gather pigments and go to the Firebowl Cauldron to brighten up your garb.
Eight new weapons are included in the update, which also fixes a bunch of bugs and unintentional exploits. Check out the full patch notes below, or take a look at the dye system in action here.
Additionally, developer Funcom announced a new rewards system for players who report back on any exploits. The scheme, called Exploit Hunters, isn't included in this update, but more information will be revealed next week.

When removing buildings that have become abandoned, in rare cases it is not possible to build on the same spot. If you leave and rejoin the server it should be possible to build again.
On local play if you use dyes on an equipped armor piece you must re-equip it before the color change becomes visible
Two new posters for Spider-Man: Homecoming have been released. The Marvel movie is out in July--one poster shows Spidey relaxing, while in the other he's scaling the Avengers Tower. Check them out below:
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7. The movie stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, with Michael Keaton as the Vulture, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Bokeem Woodbine as Shocker. Robert Downey Jr will appear as Tony Stark, and there are also roles for Donald Glover and Zendaya. A trailer was released in December--check it out here.
In a recent interview with Movieweb, Holland explained how Spidey will differ from the other heroes in the Marvel universe. "You've seen the billionaire, the scientist, the soldier," he said. "Now it's time to see the kid. And every decision we make on set is based off how would a kid react in this situation, so every fight scene we have is designed in a way that's almost child-friendly, so he never actually punches anyone. It's all done kind of by accident. I think the biggest difference is his youth and innocence."
A new update for Nioh has been released today, with the game itself dropping in price on PSN in the US for a very limited time.
Update 1.06 adds new content and makes some quality-of-life improvements. New sub-missions are now available, but you'll only be able to access these if you've reached the final part of the game. If you're working toward the Samurai of Legend Trophy, which requires you to complete every mission in the game, you won't need to complete these new levels in order unlock it.
Other additions in this patch include more Titles and Smithing Texts, both of which can be unlocked in the new sub-missions.
In terms of improvements, you can now press the Options button to pause the game from inside the Status menu. However, that's only possible when you're playing on your own; multiplayer won't allow you to do so.
Additionally, you can use the Left and Right buttons to skip items in the equipment screen. You'll also find new settings allowing you to enable or disable two functions: the camera resetting when you lock-on without a target and displaying the item level in the equipment list.
The patch also makes adjustments to the amount of damage done by certain items and abilities, and a number of bug fixes have been rolled out. You can see everything that's just changed in the patch note image gallery below.
Coinciding with the update's release, Nioh has been discounted on the PlayStation Store for one day. From now until March 25 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, it can be picked up for $40. Alternatively, you can pick up the season pass for $17 or the Deluxe Edition (which comes with the game and season pass) for $53.59. Meanwhile, there's also a PSN flash sale taking place for the entire weekend.
