[Update] While many of the deals on Black Friday are US focused--including those mentioned here, retailers in other territories are also offering some decent discounts. Amazon UK, for example, has the Xbox One X 1TB with EA's Battlefield V, the newly released Fallout 76, and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Amazon also has the Xbox One X with Fallout 76 and Red Dead Redemption 2 for £37.99, which is an excellent deal. You can see the link to the deal below. Black Friday itself is now technically behind us, but deals will continue into the weekend, and we're sure to see more pop up for Cyber Monday.
Black Friday is nearly upon us, so both current iterations of Microsoft's Xbox One--the Xbox One S and Xbox One X--will be seeing a variety of discounts and bundles. The more expensive Xbox One X, which normally goes for $500, will see some particularly nice offers, including a few that are live right now. So, before Black Friday kicks off tomorrow, it's worth scoping out any offers you want to make use of and planning your attack.
All of the Xbox One X discounts on Black Friday 2018 that we've spotted so far are outlined below. Best Buy has one of the best offers at $430, which gets you a special Battlefield V bundle. This consists of a special-edition Xbox One console, Battlefield V, Battlefield 1: Revolution, and Battlefield 1943, plus an additional controller. This bundle is live right now for My Best Buy members.
Ebay had some especially good deals that have now either expired or raised in price. There's still a $440 NBA 2K19 bundle; alternatively, $422 gets you the system on its own. Ebay also says it'll have more deals on the console later in the week.
Another very nice deal comes from Kohl's, where the console is being sold with a digital copy of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and a $120 Kohl's cash card for $400. For those in the UK, Amazon has the Xbox One X with Battlefield V, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Fallout 76 for £399.
We've listed all the sales for each store in case you need a back-up plan, and will update this article if more deals are announced. Just remember when stores open and close for Black Friday so you can take advantage of the deal you want.
The One X is the most powerful version of the Xbox One, possessing faster load times and playing games with enhanced framerates. It also renders certain games natively in 4K. The One X is much smaller than other Xbox One consoles and--like the One S--can be stored and played horizontally and doesn't have a massive power brick, so it doesn't take up much space.
There are a whole lot of deals on video games this Black Friday weekend, and if you've been thinking about hopping on one of Ubisoft's newer games, now would be a good time. Uplay is having a site wide sale with the likes of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Rainbow Six: Siege, Far Cry 5, and For Honor with deep discounts. The sale is going on right now and the deals are available across several platforms; PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 (two Nintendo Switch games are included).
Black Friday has passed, but as the weekend kicks off, the deals are raining down upon consumers. The annual sale after Thanksgiving holiday offers up deep discounts on assorted items from numerous retailers. And if you're the type of person in the market for new movies, there are plenty of deals you'll want to check out.
The best part about most of these Black Friday movie deals is that the majority of the physical discs--primarily Blu-ray and 4K--come with digital copy codes. So you'll be buying these movies cheaper than you can get them through a service like Google Play, iTunes, or Vudu, and a physical copy comes with it.
There are quite a few sales to keep you eyes on, including Barnes and Noble's sale on 50% off of Criterion Collection Blu-rays. The only Criterion movies shown in the circular were Ingmar Bergman's Cinema, The Tree of Life, and The Princess Bride, but more will be on sale.
Best Buy has a long list of DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K movies on sale during the event. You can pick up either of the Super Troopers movies on Blu-ray for $4 each or movies from this past year for cheap: Avengers: Infinity War ($7), Black Panther ($7), Sicario: Day of the Soldado ($6), or Game Night ($8). The best movie deals to come to Best Buy are Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Episodes 1-6) for $20 and The Godfather Collection for $10.
Every store has different operating hours during Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and the weekend following the holiday, so take a look at our store hours guide, and make sure to check with your local retailers as store hours may vary.
Below you'll find a list of all the movie sales from retailers during Black Friday. Many of these stores don't have all its discounted movies listed on the various sites, but more will be added to the Black Friday sales. However, don't expect any huge surprises as these retailers want to put its best deals in the circulars to get you in the stores.
Black Friday 2018 has arrived and along with lists of a boatload of deals on everything from game consoles to accessories, various retailers are offering discounts on services that you need to make the most of your gaming time. One of those is Sony's PlayStation Plus, which makes for a much more improved gaming experience on the PS4.
As of this writing, the best deal on PS Plus sees a 12-month subscription to the service for $40--a nice $20 savings and the cheapest we ever see these subscriptions go for anymore. You can get this price straight through PSN, as the deal is available as part of the ongoing PlayStation Store's Black Friday sale.
Alternatively, a number of retailers have either price matched or launched their PS Plus deals early. You can see the full list below, but Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, and more are all offering PS Plus for $40 right now.
PS Plus is Sony's online subscription service. You'll need a membership in order to play most online multiplayer games on PS4 and PS3, such as Rocket League and the recently released Fallout 76. On top of that, Sony offers a batch of free games for PS Plus subscribers every month, which are yours as long as you have an active membership, as well as additional discounts on titles from the PlayStation Store. Subscribing now will get you November's PS Plus games, which include Yakuza Kiwami.
PS Plus subscriptions are available in several increments. A one-month subscription typically costs $10; a three-month membership runs for $25; and a 12-month subscription is normally $60. If you're interested in sampling the service before committing to it, Sony is offering a free 14-day trial through the PS Store, although that will automatically convert into a one-month subscription if you don't cancel it before the trial period ends.
You can find all of the announced PS Plus deals, as well as our other guides on this year's PS4 Black Friday sales, below. For even more discounts, be sure to check out our full Black Friday deals coverage.
It's Black Friday 2018 weekend, so the delicious food has been replaced with hot deals and discounts. One of the best offers this year is for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the latest game in the unstoppable shooter series. In addition to featuring the traditional multiplayer and zombies modes, Treyarch's newest entry debuted the franchise's first jump into the battle royale craze with Blackout, which is among the game's most well-received offerings.
We first saw Black Ops 4 pop up in the Target ad for $45, but it turns out it won't have the cheapest way to buy the game. Best Buy ($45) and PlayStation Store ($48) have also discounted the game. Currently GameStop has it priced at $38--although you have to go into a physical store to get that deal. Walmart has undercut GameStop so you can buy it for $37 on both PS4 and Xbox One right now.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is no doubt one of the more experimental entries in recent years, yet it still offered a satisfying package to dive into. While last year's World War II was well received, Black Ops 4 offered a larger focus on giving players new ways to experience COD gameplay across its key gameplay pillars, which includes multiplayer, zombies--featuring multiple storylines and levels--the new Blackout battle royale game type, and a light story mode focusing on each of the playable Specialists.
Reviews editor Kallie Plagge gave the game an 8 in our review of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and stated: "Black Ops 4 isn't short on content, and its three main modes are substantial. Multiplayer introduces more tactical mechanics without forcing you into them, and it largely strikes a good balance. Zombies has multiple deep, secret-filled maps to explore, though its returning characters don't hold up and prove distracting. Finally, Blackout pushes Call of Duty in an entirely new direction, making use of aspects from both multiplayer and Zombies for a take on the battle royale genre that stands on its own. Sure, there isn't a traditional single-player campaign, but with the depth and breadth of what is there, Black Ops 4 doesn't need it."
Here are the links to the deals you can find on Target, and we'll update this post with any other deals that come in from other retailers. If you're at all curious about World War II, there is also a planned Target deal for Call of Duty: WWII as well for $25.
Black Friday itself has now passed, but that doesn't mean your chance to get some cheap games has ended. Valve has already kicked off its Steam sale to cover both Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and that will be continuing for the next few days. Those who want cheap PC games will find it's hard to beat the annual Steam sale, which is ongoing. We've got a roundup of the best Steam game deals to help you sort through everything, and you can see some highlights below.
The Steam Autumn Sale lasts through November 27 at 10 AM PT. The sale prices have gone live, offering good deals on NBA 2K19 ($30), Civilization 6 ($18) and its Rise and Fall downloadable content ($20), Dead Cells ($20), and more. Steam is also offering discounts on some of its own hardware, like 30% off a Steam Controller, or the discontinued and nearly-depleted Steam Link for $2.50. Check below for highlights of some of the best deals. Keep in mind that in some cases you may be better off shopping at other PC specialists like Fanatical, which give Steam codes.
The storefront has also opened its nominees for the Steam Awards. You can vote for your Game of the Year and VR Game of the Year, along with more esoteric categories. The Labor of Love Award gives accolades for continued support of an older game, while the Better With Friends Award celebrates multiplayer experiences. The Best Alternate History Award even awards games that have created their own unique twist on the past. Participating in the awards can earn you XP and badges.
Given that Black Friday is a retail holiday, there are a lot more sales at brick-and-mortar stores as well as online retailers offering physical goods. Console digital storefronts are offering their own sales as well, though, along with Steam competitors. Check out our full roundup of Black Friday deals to plan even more of your shopping.
Black Friday itself is now in the rear view mirror, but the deals are continuing into the weekend in many cases. One sale that's continuing is Sony's PS4 game sale on PSN, as the PlayStation Store has lots on sale. You might find better discounts on physical copies--see our Black Friday PS4 coverage to see if you can get a better price--but this is a good option if digital is your preference so you never have to swap discs. Below we've rounded up all the PS4 games on sale, or if you don't want to go through it all, we've recommended our picks for the best PS4 PSN sale deals. The list below has expanded slightly since it was first published, as Sony had a delayed addition: Spider-Man is now going for $40.
First off, a couple of key the PlayStation services have gotten temporary price cuts. A 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription, which lets you take your console online and also gets you free games each month, is on sale for $40 right now. Also, a year's subscription to PlayStation Now, a service that lets you download or stream over 650 games, is on sale for $80.
Anyone with a PlayStation VR headset (or anyone who's planning to pick one up at a Black Friday sale price) can grab the online team shooter Firewall: Zero Hour for $30, the surreal puzzle adventure Torn for $21, or the boxing game Creed: Rise To Glory for $15.
You'll find a lot more games on sale below, or you can check out the full list, which includes DLC, virtual currency, and special editions, here. The sale runs between now and November 27 at 8 AM PT (11 AM ET).
[Original Story] There were a lot of games on sale this Black Friday, and this includes the recently released Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar's latest--and arguably greatest--open-world title was being discounted at a few select retailers, as well as on online stores, and a few are still available. Although it's primarily the more expensive editions of the game seeing a price cut, there are some options available for those looking to experience the wild west epic.
[Update] New Black Fridaydeals are coming around the clock, and one such example was Red Dead Redemption 2 for only $45 on Xbox One. That's unfortunate sold out now, but we'll continue to look out for additional details as Cyber Monday draws near.
All the current RDR2 Black Friday deals are outlined below. We will continue to add to the list as new discounts are announced. Be sure to stay on top of when specific retailers--like Best Buy and Walmart--open and close their doors for Black Friday so you can plan accordingly.
For now, the best Black Friday Red Dead Redemption 2 deals are available through the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store. The normally $80 Special Edition is being lowered to around $70 for Black Friday. The Special Edition comes with the base game, as well as a bank robbery mission and gang hideout, Dappled Black Thoroughbred horse, talisman and medallion in-game bonuses, boosts, cash discounts, the Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger outfit, and several free weapons. The even more expensive Ultimate edition drops to $90 on both platforms. As of this writing, you'll need an Xbox Live Gold membership to take advantage of the Xbox pricing.
Rakuten is offering the Xbox One version of the game for $40 on its website. You'll need to have an account and ensure you're logged in first, and then apply the discount code BF20 to see the price drop.
Physical retailers are selling the game at full price but with a bonus item. At Best Buy, the Black Friday deal comes with RDR2 and a special collapsible cup. At Walmart, the Black Friday deal is for the store's exclusive steelbook edition. Ebay has also announced it will have a bundle with the Xbox One version of the game and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for $70.
In our Red Dead Redemption 2 review, Kallie Plagge gave the game a 9/10, writing, "Red Dead Redemption 2 is an excellent prequel, but it's also an emotional, thought-provoking story in its own right, and it's a world that is hard to leave when it's done."
Red Dead Redemption 2 is only available for Xbox One and PS4.
Black Friday 2018 is over, and if you spent your time filling yourself up with delicious food, and missed your chance to get yourself discounted goods don't fret, there's still time. We've got all the info you need to get killer deals on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals at Target, Best Buy, and Walmart. However, GameStop has offered a sale too, so let's take a look at the deals.
Some of these discounts will be available in limited quantities until November 26, but the rest of the discounts went live on Thursday, which is when the official Black Friday sale began. This means that, if you're just starting to shop, you'll have to be quick as others have been at it for a few days now.
In terms of console deals, you can get an Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Creators bundle for $200, or knock $70 off any Xbox One or S. On the PS4 side of things, a PlayStation 4 1TB with Spider-Man is on sale for $200. All other PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch deals come with a $50 GameStop gift card (in-store only).
For a whole lot more upcoming deals, check out our Black Friday deals hub, where you can find out what discounts all the big game retailers will offer next week.
The Black Friday 2018 is done, but the shopping bonanza is still going, which means various retailers have a plethora of discounts and deals on offer. Not one to be left out of festivities, Nintendo has now revealed which digital Switch and 3DS games you can get on the cheap as part of its Eshop sale. We've also got a roundup of the best Switch Eshop game deals, and it seems like the sale might expand, as Friday brought with it a handful of additional games that weren't in the original sale lineup.
The sale is already live and will last until November 28 at 8:59 AM PT / 11:59 AM ET / 4:59 PM GMT / 2:59 AM on November 29 for AEDT. During this time you can pick up Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for $42, Starlink: Battle for Atlas for $45, and Dead Cells for $20. Along with those, there's Celeste for $16, Undertale for $13, Okami HD for $15, Doom for $30, Skyrim for $30, The Messenger for $14, and other must-play Switch games available at a discount. Of course, there's plenty more Switch titles on sale, and you can see the full list below.
For those interested in grabbing a game or two for the Nintendo 3DS, there's quite a few titles worth considering. Many of them are really cheap, so if you're picking up a 3DS for the first time--either for yourself or for someone else--this is a cost effective way to load up on games. There's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D--arguably the best version of the game--for $14, excellent puzzle game Box Boy for $5, and fast-paced action game Hyrule Warriors for $20. Take a look below for the full list of games.
For more options, check out our roundup of the best Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals. And if you're wondering what games you should pick up for the system, we've got an article that compiles all the best Switch games available--grab one of them and you're good to go.
The turkey is a distant memory and Black Friday is technically over, but the annual shopping event has a way of lingering around for a few days, so there's still plenty of Black Friday deals to take advantage of, and that will remain the case even as we head deeper into the weekend. There are numerous sales at Walmart, and while we got a handy heads-up at what's being discounted thanks to its Black Friday ad, some new items are likely to be added as we approach Cyber Monday. Case in point: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was listed for $40, but as of this writing, it's down to $37 on PS4 and Xbox One.
Below, we've rounded up the games, consoles, and accessories for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch that the retailer plans to have on sale. We've also put together a look at Walmart's best Black Friday deals.
The mega retailer has a deal on nearly every console on the market (with PS4 Pro being the notable absence, as it's on sale seemingly nowhere). You can get a PS4 Slim 1TB with Spider-Man for $199--a deal that's already live right now. The Xbox One S Minecraft Creators Bundle are marked down to $199, and you can save $100 on an Xbox One X, bringing the price down to $399. Nintendo Switch still costs $299, but you'll get a free copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the purchase. Finally, Nintendo 2DS with Super Mario Maker is $79. These deals fall in line with the official Black Friday promotions announced by Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo, though Walmart (like Sam's Club) hacks off an extra dollar.
When it comes to games, it might be quicker to list the ones that won't be on sale. There's tons of great deals, making Black Friday a good time to grab anything you've had an eye on recently. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is marked down to $40, which is $5 cheaper than it is at Target and Best Buy. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is dipping to $35, as is Destiny 2: Forsaken Legendary Collection. And while they're not getting discounts, Walmart is offering exclusive steelbook versions of Fallout 76 and Red Dead Redemption 2 for $60 each.
As with many other retailers, Walmart didn't wait until Friday to begin offering its discounts. The deals began at 6 PM local time on Thursday, November 22 (Thanksgiving in the US). Online shoppers got access to the discounts even earlier; Black Friday deals at Walmart.com started on Wednesday, November 21 at 10 PM ET (7 PM PT). That means you should get a move on, if you're interested in any of this because stock may already be running low.
You can find the full list of discounted items for each platform below. And if you want to see all the other items Walmart will have on sale, check out the full Walmart Black Friday ad.
Black Friday 2018 is behind us but the various deals and discounts that became available for it are still around for you to take advantage of. If you've done your due diligence and checked out early ads to scope out what you want, you'll be one step ahead of the rest in scoring those deals, but if you haven't done the extra leg work, we're here to help. Best Buy's full ad included a ton of games, all of which we've outlined below.
There are a bunch of PS4, Xbox One, and Switch games on sale, along with hardware and accessories. Best Buy's console deals are limited in number, but they present a good way to pick up any of the big systems. Many of them are similar to what you'll find at other stores, but it does have what might be the best deal on an Xbox One X. For $430, you get a special-edition Xbox One X that's bundled with November's Battlefield V, plus a second controller.
Those looking for a PS4 can get one bundled with Marvel's Spider-Man, which just released in September, for $200. $200 can also get you an Xbox One S Minecraft bundle. If you're in the market for a Nintendo Switch, you'll get the same offer at places like Target, which is a $300 bundle (the standard price of the system) that includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The bulk of the gaming offers are on specific games. Among the highlights is the recently released Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for $45, God of War for $25, and PUBG (Xbox One) for $15. For $30, you can get Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Madden NFL 19, NBA 2K19, or Forza Horizon 4. Switch, which often doesn't get a lot of discounts, has a number of games on sale, including Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze for $40, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle for $20, and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for $35. 3DS owners can pick up Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for $20 each.
Outside of individual games, Best Buy has deals on a variety of accessories, including a 30% discount on all Astro headsets. But some of the best offers it has are for subscriptions: You can get 12 months of PlayStation Plus for $40 or 12 months of Xbox Game Pass for $70. Considering the latter gets you access to certain games you might be buying on sale (like Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves), it could be a preferable option.
Read on for the full list of game deals, and check out our roundup of all Black Friday deals for much more.
Black Friday 2018 is over but there's still discounts and deals wherever you look. One of the stores getting in on the action is Target and below you can see the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch gaming deals that the retailer has available for prospective shoppers. For more of its offering we also have a look at Target's best gaming deals.
A few video game items are listed as doorbusters in Target's ad. For starters, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on both PS4 and Xbox One will be on sale for $45--not a bad discount for a game that just launched last month (though it'll be cheaper elsewhere). Another recent game is getting an even bigger price drop; the starter pack for the toys-to-life space shooter Starlink: Battle for Atlas will be on sale for $40, down from $75.
In terms of hardware doorbusters, you'll be able to get a PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB console with Spider-Man for $200 (for a savings of $100)--although despite the ad's designation of this as a doorbuster, you can actually take advantage of the deal right now. Also $100 off is a PlayStation VR bundle that comes with the headset, camera, and two Move controllers, as well as copies of Superhot VR and Creed: Rise to Glory, all for $250.
Even many of the non-doorbuster discounts are much better than you'd see during normal sales. Assassin's Creed Odyssey can be had for $35, while Shadow of the Tomb Raider is down to $30. Overwatch and Star Wars Battlefront 2 are down to just $15 each. A Nintendo Switch can be had for its usual price of $300 but with a free copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
You can get these sale prices online or in store, but as always, stock will be limited. If you want to brave the crowds and get your hands on the items in person, Target stores will be open and offering these deals from 5 PM Thursday, November 22 to 1 AM Friday, November 23. Then--presumably after spending a few hours cleaning up and re-stocking--they'll re-open Friday, November 23 at 7 AM. It's possible certain stores will use different hours, so you might want to double-check closer to Black Friday. We've broken down all of the various Black Friday store hours to help you know when the deals begin.
Now it's time for the big list, which you can also see in the full Target Black Friday ad. All of the following games will be available at the prices listed below on Black Friday, but Target says even more games will also be on sale. We'll update this article when we find out what those are. In the mean time, check out the full list and start planning your Black Friday 2018 purchases now.
Black Friday 2018 is behind us but many of the deals that will save you some money during the shopping event are still available. When it comes to Xbox One, many deals have already gone live, and the bottom line is you can get a great price on an Xbox One (X or S), games, Xbox Live Gold, and more. Based on early ads from Walmart, GameStop, Best Buy, Target, and other retailers, we've assembled a complete list of Xbox One deals below, and we have a roundup of the best Xbox One Black Friday deals.
[Update] UK retailer John Lewis has thrown its hat into the Black Friday 2018 ring with a pretty nice Xbox One X deal, for those looking to upgrade to the most powerful console on the market. It is currently available for £360 and includes Forza Horizon 4, Forza Motorsport 7, making it ideal for the racing game fan in your life. For those in the US, various deals continue to pop up on places like Ebay, and we'll be keeping our eye out for more as we head toward Cyber Monday.
If you've been keeping an eye out for deals, you'll know the early ads store including Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart laid out what we'll be able to save some cash on. Additionally, the Xbox Store deals are live now, and this has expanded to included even non-Xbox Live Gold members (though the discounts may not be as great). Ebay has also been rolling some some terrific offers.
If it's a console you're after, both Xbox One X and Xbox One S will be discounted significantly. Kohl's will offer an Xbox One X 1TB bundled with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and $120 Kohl's Cash for $400, while Best Buy has a special-edition version of the system bundled with Battlefield 5 and a second controller for $430.
In terms of Xbox One S, Kohl's has an Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Creators Bundle and $60 Kohl's Cash for $200. (Enter promo code CHEERFUL at checkout--or print out the coupon in the Black Friday ad--and you'll save an extra 15% on Kohl's deals.) Other stores will have the system for around $200. Additionally, extra Xbox One controllers will be available for $40 at Kohl's, Target, and the Microsoft Store, among other places. The Microsoft Store will also offer a month of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold for $1 each.
In terms of Xbox One games, stores will have some excellent discounts on a number of big-name titles. Fallout 76 will be $40 at GameStop and is already that price on the Xbox Store (the deal requires Xbox Live Gold, which you'll need to play the game itself), Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be $40 at Walmart, while the toys-to-life game Starlink: Battle for Atlas Starter Pack is $35 at Best Buy (down from $75). Other terrific deals include Assassin's Creed Odyssey for $30 at Best Buy and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds for $15 at Target and Best Buy.
There's too much to round up in the text here, so hit the full lists below for all things Xbox that are on sale--you'll even find cheap backwards compatible games on sale. We'll continue to update this as more deals are revealed, so stay tuned, and follow all of our coverage in our full list of Black Friday deals.
Black Friday is over but many of the deals you've been waiting to secure are still live. We've rounded up all of the Nintendo Switch deals we've come across for you below. While some may have been fully claimed, there's a fair few that are still available, and with Cyber Monday around the corner more should appear soon. While not as exciting as the unexpected Fallout 76 deals on other platforms, Nintendo's Eshop Cyber Deals sale has grown with more digital Switch games added to the lineup.
In terms of the Nintendo Switch console, we're seeing an identical deal popping up in a lot of places since we first saw it in Target's preview ad. Target, Walmart, and Best Buy will sell the system for $300, as per usual (or $299 in Walmart's case), but the system will be a special bundle that comes with a free copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Unfortunately, if you were hoping for a sub-$300 Switch, we have yet to see anyone drop the system's price. If the aforementioned bundle doesn't appeal to you, Kohl's has a more expensive option that also comes with $90 in Kohl's Cash.
A large number of Switch games are on sale, although the sheer scale of these deals is not the same as on PS4 or Xbox One, as you'd expect. Still, there are some good offers: last year's surprisingly excellent XCOM-like, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, drops to $20 at Best Buy; Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate drops to $35 at Target, Walmart, and Best Buy; Arms goes to $35 at Walmart; and Bayonetta 2 (which includes the previous game) will be $40 at Best Buy.
Nintendo will presumably launch its own game sale through the Switch Eshop, but as of yet that has not yet begun, as is the case with the PSN and Xbox Live sales. We'll report back if (but, more likely, when) it does.
Below, you'll find all of the Black Friday deals on Switch consoles, games, and accessories that we've spotted so far. More deals should be announced in the day ahead, and we'll keep this page updated. For even more, check out our full Black Friday deals coverage.
Black Friday 2018 is officially over but that certainly doesn't mean the deals are at an end. Especially for those who are shopping for a PS4 or PS4 games, you've got a massive selection of deals to sift through. It's a great time to pick up the system, physical games, PS Plus, controllers, and more, and the PSN games sale provides an easy route to picking up digital titles. We've done our best to round up all the deals from Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and other retailers, but with Friday winding to a close, don't be surprise if you find some things are sold out.
We've seen some unexpected deals pop up. Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 76, and Spider-Man all looked as if they wouldn't be discounted, but we've seen sales periodically pop up for each of them in various forms. We may continue to see things like this surface as we head toward Cyber Monday.
Sony itself has announced its Black Friday promotions, and you'll find a lot of what retailers have to offer line up with these deals. When it comes to PS4 consoles, the best option announced so far is from Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and Sam's Club all of which get you a PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB and Spider-Man as a pack-in game for $200 (or $199 in the case of Walmart and Sam's Club). That's a great deal, seeing as the console normally costs around $300 and Spider-Man costs $60. Given it's part of Sony's official lineup of deals, you can expect to find this pretty much everywhere--and not only that, but the deal seems to have gone live early at most every store.
In terms of PS4 accessories, another doorbuster Target will offer is a PlayStation VR bundle that comes with a camera, Move controllers, Creed: Rise to Glory, and Superhot VR, all for $250; that deal is mirrored at Best Buy. If you want a cheaper route, several stores will have a $200 PSVR bundle. Also, both Target, Best Buy, and Kohl's will have DualShock 4 controllers available for $40, while Walmart beats them at $39. Again $200 for PSVR and $40 for controllers are among Sony's official Black Friday deals, so expect to see those from a lot of stores.
On the PS4 games side of the equation, there's plenty to save money on. The recent release Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will drop to $40 at Walmart. Fallout 76 drops to $40 at GameStop in-store, while PSN has Spider-Man for $40. Another recent one, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, will be available for $30. Both Detroit: Become Human and God of War will be available for $25 each, as will Far Cry 5. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is at its cheapest (so far) at Best Buy, where it'll be $30.
We've gathered all of the PlayStation 4 deals announced so far into one place so you can get the best deal on whatever it is you're looking for. We'll keep this article updated as more retailers announce new Black Friday deals.
Black Friday 2018 might have technically been yesterday, but that doesn't mean you've missed your opportunity to get some deals. Every Black Friday sale we know about has already gone live, and your main concern at this point is items selling out as we head into the weekend. You don't have to worry about that with sales on Steam, PSN, the Eshop, and Xbox Live, though discounts on PS4 and Xbox One bundles may already be gone in some cases. We have been seeing unexpected deals pop up, and that may continue through Cyber Monday. For instance, Walmart cut Black Ops 4 to $37 on PS4 and Xbox One, beating not only its own advertised price, but the best price we had seen anywhere.
Ebay has offered some terrific deals leading up to Black Friday and is worth keeping an eye on. The PS4 Spider-Man bundle was on sale at numerous stores days before we expected, resulting in it being sold out at some locations already. PS Plus was $40 available at a whole bunch of retailers early as well, but in that case, at least you know you can turn to PSN to pick it up at that price. And after looking like Spider-Man and Fallout 76 wouldn't be discounted, we've now learned of deals on both.
Black Friday officially began today, on November 23, but we got a heads-up on what to expect. We started out by getting Target's ad early, giving us a look at what will be on sale across games, tech, and entertainment, and that's been followed by several other huge ones, Walmart and Best Buy. Everything from 4K TVs to PS4, Xbox One X, and Nintendo Switch are on sale, not to mention games and movies ranging from Red Dead Redemption 2 and Star Wars to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Deadpool 2. GameStop has also finally shared its ad, greatly expanding the list of deals.
As always, tracking what's on sale and where can be an overwhelming task, as can determining what the best deals are. We'll be doing our best to help you stay on top of this so you can make the most of Black Friday (and Cyber Monday immediately after that) without having to drown in a sea of circulars and hastily scrawled post-it notes. Below, you'll find our complete coverage of the event.

Fortunately for those looking to pick up a Nintendo Switch this year, there will be Black Friday deals at a number of retailers. However, many of them appear to be identical and favor a free pack-in game rather than actual discounts on the standard price.
Those in the market for a new graphics card are in luck, as the wild inflation of video card prices has declined after the cryptocurrency boom. Black Friday brings with it even better deals, and we've rounded up many of these offers for you to peruse.

Xbox Live's annual Black Friday sale is already live if you've an Xbox Live Gold member, getting you discounts on digital games. It runs through November 27, although even once it opens up to non-Gold members, the deals may not be quite as good if you're not a subscriber.

Perhaps the biggest game release of the year came in October, likely too close to Black Friday for us to see extensive deals. And while we're not seeing much in the way of price cuts on the base games, there are some other sales of note.
Black Ops 4 represented a significant shift for the Call of Duty series, dumping a traditional single-player campaign and introducing a battle royale mode, Blackout. It's another game that, despite having only just been released, will be on sale come Black Friday.
Playground Games' terrific open-world driving game, Forza Horizon 4, is among the many games you'll find on sale this Black Friday. While you can play it through Xbox Game Pass, those looking to buy their own copy have numerous options.
God of War has been one of the year's standout games so far. It will be discounted this Black Friday, and thanks to the fact that it came out earlier in the year, the savings are even greater than with some of its fellow triple-A games that launched more recently.
The newest entry in the SoulCalibur series is a good one, and it of course brings with it a guest character--The Witcher's Geralt. Despite having only come out in late October, you'll find it for nearly half price on Black Friday.
It looked as if Marvel's Spider-Man wouldn't be discounted on Black Friday outside of the $200 PS4 bundles, but it turns out you will be able to get a copy of it for as little as $40.
Another game that seemed like it would go without any true Black Friday deals is Fallout 76, which would be understandable considering it was only just released. However, it will in fact go on sale for $40.
The most popular basketball game series returns with another strong entry in 2018. As with all of the year's big annual sports games, NBA 2K19 sees a nice discount on Black Friday.

WWE's annual wrestling sim, WWE 2K19, features a larger roster than ever before. And like so many of the other fall releases, this is one that will be on sale come Black Friday.

Although it's now a couple years old, Ubisoft's competitive shooter continues to grow strong, thanks in large part to a consistent stream of new content. As you'd expect, Siege will be discounted this Black Friday.
If you've got a need to catch 'em all, there's some good options on picking up a Pokemon game, and the hardware to play it. Although the latest games to be released in the franchise are Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee, they're unlikely to be discounted soon. Instead, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon can be purchased at a good price, and they're great games too. If you need hardware to play the games, there's a pretty nice 2DS bundle too.

No longer can you expect to just show up on Friday (or Thursday night) and be early--sales are starting hours or even days before then. We've done our best to compile all of this information in a digestible way.
We should have a firm idea of everything that will be on sale well in advance of Black Friday, but while we wait for all of the ads to come in, we've previewed what to expect from this year's big day. That may help you determine if you should buy something now or wait for a possible deal later this month.
Anybody can walk into a story on Black Friday or browse to a retailer's website, but there are tips and tricks to best approaching it. We've put together a guide to help you make the most of all the big sales.
The turkey may be a memory now, but there's still plenty of discounts and deals to make Black Friday a good time. Among the many offers available to those interested in parting with some cash are those on the Nintendo Switch system itself, and in this article we're tracking the best places to buy the console. They primarily involve the Mario Kart 8 bundle Nintendo officially announced--but don't be surprised if the bundle has sold out at some places.
Nintendo's handheld-console hybrid has been a hit with great games like Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and an ever-growing library of smaller titles, so now would be a good time to check out jump in save a few bucks. Also, be sure to check out all the sales on Nintendo Switch games.

We've got less than two weeks to go until Black Friday, and we're tracking sales as they come out and continually updating our lists. Be aware that retailers may sell out of products at any point during sales. Certain deals may also be offered in-store only; be sure to check the conditions for sales you're looking at. Lastly, stores opening times may vary by location, so check with your local retailer.
Black Friday is generally considered the year's biggest shopping day, seeing as it kicks off most retailers' holiday season. But that doesn't mean you should ignore Cyber Monday. The online shopping holiday was created in 2005 and has grown to the point where it was the biggest online shopping day in the US last year. But now that online Black Friday deals are often just as good as in-store ones, what role will Cyber Monday play in 2018? Let's look at what to expect from Cyber Monday 2018; we've also got a roundup of the confirmed Cyber Monday deals.
When Is Cyber Monday 2018?
Cyber Monday always lands on the Monday following Black Friday. Since Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, this year's Cyber Monday falls on November 26, 2018. But just like how Black Friday is being drawn out at some retailers into a multi-day sale event, Cyber Monday is too. Some retailers are even calling it Cyber Week, so they'll be offering sale prices throughout the whole week of November 26 and in some cases, beyond.
What Retailers Will Participate In Cyber Monday?
Generally, the same retailers that have Black Friday sales will try to keep customers coming back on Cyber Monday. That means anyone looking for video game and entertainment deals will want to keep an eye on Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Newegg, Target, Kohl's, and Walmart in particular.
Unsurprisingly, retailers tend to put most of their marketing efforts toward Black Friday during November. In fact, most of the biggest retailers have already released their Black Friday ads, so we largely know what deals to expect in terms of video games and entertainment (you can find details about all the Black Friday sales here). But Cyber Monday offers a way for stores to keep the customers coming back, so expect to see Cyber Monday ads appearing over Black Friday weekend, November 24-25.
What Deals To Expect
Last year, Best Buy and GameStop kept many of their video game deals going through Black Friday weekend and into Cyber Monday. On Cyber Monday, Target offered 15% off most items online (with a few exceptions in the video game category). For its part, Steam ran a single Black Friday weekend sale that lasted through Monday.
In general, though, don't expect Cyber Monday to have deeply discounted doorbuster deals like you'll find on Black Friday. So if you see something you want for an appealing price on Black Friday, it's usually not a good idea to wait for Cyber Monday to see if you can get an even better deal.
That said, common sale items this Black Friday, like the PS4 Slim with Spider-Man for $200 and $100 discounts on Xbox One S and X, are likely to continue through Cyber Monday at many retailers.
When In Doubt, Check Price History
If you're not sure if the deal you're considering on Cyber Monday is a good one, it's wise to check the item's price history to see how low it has gone in the past and how often it tends to go on sale. You can check sites like Camelcamelcamel to get the information you need to make an informed purchasing decision on games, consoles, movies, TVs, and the like.
Check Back
Just as we're tracking the best Black Friday deals on all things video games and entertainment, we'll be here highlighting the best deals around on Cyber Monday.
While most deal hunters are focusing on Black Friday this week, another shopping holiday is right around the corner. It's Cyber Monday, and this year it falls on November 26. This online shopping day might seem like an afterthought after Black Friday, but it's a terrific day of deals in its own right. Last year, Cyber Monday was the biggest online shopping day in the US, and you can bet retailers noticed. That's why they'll be dropping prices once again in hopes of grabbing their share of online consumer holiday spending.
Many more details about the Cyber Monday deals will start to appear over the weekend, once Black Friday is over and bargain shoppers have begun to catch their breath. But some Cyber Monday information is already here. Let's take a look at what sales we know we'll find on Cyber Monday 2018.
PlayStation Network
You don't have to wait for Cyber Monday to get digital PS4 games at nicely discounted prices. Sony has already made its Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale live on the PSN. Running between now and November 27, this sale drops prices on games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ($48), Assassin's Creed Odyssey ($40), and hundreds more.
Along the same lines, Xbox One owners can already pick up a huge selection of games for discounted prices. And while no specific Cyber Monday sale has been announced, Microsoft's current deals will be available between now and November 26.
Not content to offer just an extended weekend's worth of discounts, Ebay is doing an eight-day sale across Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and beyond. The online retailer will also have special deals only available on Cyber Monday, including limited-time discounts popping up every hour from 6 AM - 9 PM ET (3 AM - 6 PM PT). The company promises deals offering up to 80% off Apple, Xbox, Nintendo products, and more.
Ebay will also have a "Best Price Guarantee" program, which not only matches eligible competitors' prices, but also knocks an extra 10% off. There are no blackout dates, so it even applies to Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
Walmart will have a Cyber Monday sale, but we only have a few details about it so far. Expect to see a full rundown on Saturday or Sunday, once the Black Friday smoke has cleared. In the meantime, we know the following items will be on sale.
GameStop has said that many of its Black Friday deals will continue over the weekend and run through Cyber Monday. But if this year shakes out like some previous years, some of the best Black Friday deals will come back around on Cyber Monday.
Though details are sparse, Best Buy has announced it will expand Cyber Monday over two days: Sunday, November 25 and Monday, November 26. Additionally, some deals will be available all that week at Best Buy.
Target has a history of participating in Cyber Monday discounts, so it's a safe bet to assume the practice will continue this year. On Cyber Monday last year, Target offered 15% off nearly every item available on its website, so let's hope for a similar deal this year.
Apple hasn't announced its Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals yet, but the company has said its sale will run November 23-26, which encompasses both shopping holidays.
Why would we talk about Cyber Monday 2018 when Black Friday is still ongoing? Because these two major shopping days occur very close to one another. Many deal hunters will still be recovering from a Black Friday savings hangover by the time Cyber Monday arrives on November 26. If that's you, you'd better pop some Tylenol and hop online, because Cyber Monday deals will be coming in hot.
As for specific Cyber Monday deals, little is known at the moment, though we have gotten a few hints as to what offers will be available. For instance, Ebay is doing a "Cyber Weekend" sale, with deals on things like a Microsoft Surface Pro and a 65" 4K smart TV starting on Saturday, November 24. Additional deals will kick off on Monday, Novmeber 26, including on a Fallout 76 Xbox One X bundle, though the price has yet to be announced. You can find additional information in our Cyber Monday preview of the deals we already know about.
Seeing as retailers will be dropping prices on an array of products on and around Cyber Monday, it can be hard to know if you're getting the best deal possible on any given item. Below, you'll find links that will help you sort through the sales to find the biggest discounts available. We'll continue adding more links as new sales are announced, making this the go-to page for your Cyber Monday needs.
To help prepare you for the craziness of Cyber Monday, we've looked at what happened last year to help set expectations for this year's online shopping day.
The Black Friday sales are underway at major retailers, and Ebay has gotten ahead of the game by also detailing its deals for the days directly following the retail holiday, including Cyber Monday. Those include some tech gadgets and gear along with a special price on an Xbox One X.
For what has been dubbed "Cyber Weekend" on Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25, you can pick up a 8th-Gen Surface Pro for $800. The company is also offering an LG 65" OLED 4K Smart TV for almost half off, though the exact dollar price remains unlisted. Then on Cyber Monday, November 26, you can pick up an Apple MacBook Air for $750. An Xbox One X 1TB Fallout 76 Bundle will be available that day too, for a price that is as-yet unlisted.
These deals will follow the Black Friday week sales that have already started and will be ongoing throughout the week. Some choice selections from those include two different Xbox One X bundles and one with an unlisted price, Super Mario Party for Nintendo Switch, and a Red Dead Redemption 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 two-pack on Xbox One.
Ebay's Black Friday prices include its Best Price Guarantee. If you find a better price you can get 110% of the difference through a coupon. Check out all of our Black Friday roundups for loads more deals on video games, consoles, hardware, TVs, and much more.
The FIFA franchise has been among the top video game series for soccer fans since its inception back in 1993. With its latest instalment, FIFA 19, the behemoth of sports entertainment shows no sign of slowing down. Having just released in late September for nearly every gaming console under the sun, you might be wondering if the price will go down at all for Black Friday. You can wonder no more: FIFA 19 is on sale right now.
While the game normally retails for $60, it's being discounted by 50% at a number of stores. Best Buy, PlayStation Store, Target, and Walmart have the Xbox One and PS4 versions of FIFA 19 on sale for $30. Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch owners can pick up this game of footy for $30 at Best Buy or $35 at Walmart.
FIFA 19 released on September 28 and received a 7/10 from GameSpot. "With new Kick Off modes and some welcome on-pitch enhancements, as well as the ever-engaging Ultimate Team and now the Champions League license, FIFA 19 is the most complete football video game package available," Oscar Dayus wrote in his FIFA 19 review.
"However, the lack of progress in Career Mode and Pro Clubs is sorely inadequate. Thankfully, The Journey's continued entertainment, FUT's long-lasting nature, and some inventive new Kick Off modes mean I'll likely still be playing FIFA 19 by the time next year's game rolls around."
Black Friday has arrived, which as all of you know is one of the biggest shopping events of the year. In line with how retailers are operating these days, some deals are going live early, but if you're interested in digital games, there's no need to wait any longer: Microsoft has kicked off its annual Xbox Live sale, dropping prices on hundreds of digital Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles. The sale was initially available only to Xbox Live Gold members, but the sale has since expanded to everyone. But be wary, some prices are lower for Gold members.
Ubisoft has dropped prices on the many Assassin's Creed games, with Odyssey down to $40 and Origins on sale for $20. A trio of Tom Clancy games is available for cheap as well; The Division is discounted to $10 and Ghost Recon Wildlands and Rainbow Six Siege are available for $15 each.
Not to be outdone, some of the best backward-compatible Xbox 360 games are also on sale. You can pick up Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for $5, Red Dead Redemption for $10, or a couple of Splinter Cell games for $10 or less. And if you're into Metal Gear, you can nab some great discounts on the series, including Metal Gear Solid HD Edition, which contains remastered versions of games 2 and 3, for $10.
You'll find well over a hundred other discounted games in the list below, or you can see the full sale here.
If you don't have a current Xbox Live Gold subscription, you can get a one-month membership between now and November 30 for just $1 / £1. That grants you early access to the sale and also gets you this month's free Games with Gold. Additionally, between now and January 3, 2019, you can get a month's worth of Xbox Game Pass for $1 / £1. This subscription service lets you download and play a selection of over 100 games, including all recent first-party titles like Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves.
Black Friday is officially here, and this year it includes some heavy discounts on one of the year's biggest movies, Avengers: Infinity War. The blockbuster culmination of the long-running Marvel cinematic universe broke box office records. And if you're eager to watch it again, there are several ways to grab the much loved superhero crossover film.
First, Best Buy has the best price for a Blu-ray and digital combo at $6.99. Just behind it, Walmart has its own markdown for $7.96. Both of those beat Target, which is offering the standard DVD copy for $10. Finally, Best Buy is offering the high-end 4K copy for $14.99. But if you're the patient type, you could just wait for Christmas and watch it on Netflix.
The Infinity War Blu-ray comes with loads of extra features, including four featurettes and a handful of deleted scenes. The deleted scenes include a surprise cameo surprise cameo and a scene that explains how the Guardians knew to head to Titan. It also includes an audio commentary with plenty of revealing tidbits. We even found out what was up with the Hulk. If you're a devotee of the Marvel films, you'll need to catch up and prepare for next year's Captain Marvel film, which has its groundwork laid in Infinity War.
If you're looking for many more Black Friday deals, including lots on games, hardware, accessories, and other tech-geek goodies, check out our Black Friday round-ups. Lots of other Marvel movies are on sale too. Plan your shopping ahead so you can get it done in a snap.
Black Friday 2018 is officially here, and among countless other things that will be on sale, a few stores will be selling Xbox Game Pass at a discount. The subscription service allows you to access a vast library of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, which is quite the convenience if you want access to a bunch of games all at once.
Currently, there are only three Black Friday deals for Xbox Game Pass, but they're each pretty good. We've outlined them below, and will update the list if any other retailers offer a Black Friday discount for Xbox Game Pass. For more Xbox One deals, check out our roundup of every Xbox One Black Friday deal that's been revealed.
At most stores, Xbox Game Pass is usually sold in subscription packages of one-month for $10, three-month for $30, and six-month for $60. This Black Friday, Best Buy is offering a special 12-month subscription for $70. It's the best Black Friday Xbox Game Pass deal if you plan on using the service for the long-term. Although Best Buy has launched many of its deals early for My Best Buy members, this is one that you'll apparently have to wait until later in the week to take advantage of.
If you're only looking to try out Game Pass--and you want a bit longer than the free 14-day trial--then both the Microsoft Store and Xbox Marketplace are selling a one-month subscription for $1 on Black Friday.
Similar to how buying a Netflix subscription gives you access to hundreds of TV shows and movies, paying for Xbox Game Pass unlocks select Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that you can download onto your One, One S, or One X console. You can keep these games for as long as you continue paying for the subscription, and Microsoft updates the list of available titles every month. Xbox Game Pass includes dozens of gaming classics, such as Mass Effect and Sunset Overdrive, and certain titles like Forza Horizon 4 are added to the service the day the game launches.
Black Friday can be pretty intense, which is why you shouldn't approach the most hectic shopping day of the year without a plan in place. Luckily, lots of retailers gave consumers an early look at their deals for the day after Thanksgiving. If you're in the market for Madden NFL 19 on PS4 and Xbox One, we've got you covered right here with all the deals you can take advantage of now that the big ay is here.
For those in the market for Madden, the good news is that you're going to have plenty of options and not a lot of pressure to pick between them. GameStop's price is the best at $27, but it's not available online. Best Buy, Walmart, and Target are all offering the same deep discount for their Black Friday deals (both in-store and online), dropping the price down to $30. In the case of Target, that price is a doorbuster--which means quantities are limited, and once they're gone, so is the discounted price. Xbox Store and PlayStation Store sales are already live.
The Madden franchise is known for its high-fidelity approach to digitizing football in video game form, but lately Madden games have been pushing hard on strong stories, too. In our review of Madden 19, Eddie Makuch said that despite some issues, "with its capable Frostbite engine and its compelling Longshot story mode, remains the best, most complete Madden game to date.with its capable Frostbite engine and its compelling Longshot story mode, remains the best, most complete Madden game to date."
Black Friday 2018 is here and it's an ideal opportunity to grab yourself some video games that you can play with family and friends throughout the holiday season. Sports games are always a great way to pass some time, settle existing feuds, or start new ones, and if you're a fan of basketball, NBA 2K19 is probably something you'll want to consider grabbing--especially on sale.
It seems that most retailers have reached the same discount price for NBA 2K19, with the game available for $30 at Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and the PlayStation Store across both their PS4 and Xbox One versions. The one retailer going its own way is GameStop, which will be selling the game for $27--but only in-store (not online). You can find links to them below. The Nintendo Switch version has also seen a discount at various retailers, though the place with it still in stock as of this writing is Nintendo's Eshop, where it's going for $30.
In GameSpot's NBA 2K19 review, Michael Higham said the "core NBA 2K mechanics are challenging and rewarding" and that it offers a variety of game modes to enjoy. "If you want to immerse yourself in the sport and culture, NBA 2K19 has you covered with a breadth of content," he continued. "But even that has its limitations after several years of iterations. Although those willing to grind for everything will eventually get rewarded, the system of VC still comes off as exploitative. But there's a lot of fun to be had in NBA 2K19 despite its flaws, especially if you have a strong love for the sport.
"NBA 2K19 dishes out what you'd expect from the franchise: accessible yet deep core mechanics that often work just right and occasionally falter. Beyond that, there's a full roster of ways to enjoy the sport thanks to a robust package of game modes."
If you'd like to see more of the deals that Best Buy, Target, and Walmart have on offer, check out our full Black Friday 2018 roundup. Along with video game hardware and software, you'll also find some of the noteworthy discounts on TV sets and other entertainment equipment that we've seen in the lead up to Black Friday.
With Black Friday 2018 underway, you may be looking for a deal on video cards to upgrade your gaming PC, especially now that prices have returned to normal after the cryptocurrency wave subsided. Both Amazon and Newegg have plenty of deals for RTX 20-series and GTX 10-series graphics cards from Nvidia board partners like EVGA, Gigabyte, Asus, MSI, PNY, and Zotac (see below).
A few standout deals include the newly released EVGA RTX 2070 XC card that's currently going for $550 on Amazon, and the Gigabyte RTX 2080 for $750 offered on Newegg. If you're looking for a more modest upgrade and aiming for a mid-range video card, the PNY GTX 1060 (6GB) for $250 on Amazon, or the GTX 1070 Ti Ultra for $400 on Newegg are both good bets.
For a better idea of how some of these video cards perform, be sure to check out our RTX 2080 review, GTX 1080 review, and GTX 1070 Ti review. Nvidia's new RTX 20-series launched earlier this year and provide a decent upgrade in overall performance from the previous generations GTX 10-series cards. RTX also offers ray tracing technology that PC games are beginning to implement for better lighting, shadows, and reflections. However, the GTX cards are no slouch even in modern PC games.
Note that pricing and availability may change throughout the course of Black Friday weekend, and more deals could be coming for Cyber Monday. We have gone all out in trying to bring you the best deals out there this year, so be sure to check out all the Black Friday sales we've covered.
Black Friday 2018 is here, and with it come many deals for WWE 2K19 on PS4 and Xbox One. It's among the many games on sale this year, and you'll find it for around half-price depending on where you shop.
In various ads that the big retailers have released, including Best Buy, PlayStation Store, Target, and Walmart, we saw deals for games including God of War, PUBG, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. WWE 2K19 will also see a pretty significant discount during the retail event, going on sale for $30 across both platforms. However, Best Buy in particular is going the extra mile and will offer the game's season pass on both PS4 and Xbox One for $24 during Black Friday.
Much like previous entries, WWE 2K19 brings together the roster of wrestling superstars to compete in exhibition matches and main events. In addition to the current roster of wresters, including Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Alexa Bliss, players will also be able to create their own crew of wrestlers with the game's in-depth create-a-wrestler--which can produce some surprising results. If you own the season pass, you'll be able to get instant access to new wrestlers from NXT and 205Live, such as Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai.
In our review of WWE 2K19, Richard Wakeling stated: "Despite its flaws, WWE 2K19 is a step in the right direction for the long-running series. After two years toiling away with a dearth of interesting single-player content, the introduction of an engaging career mode is a welcome sight that finally captures some of the personality pro wrestling is partly built upon. The in-ring action is still inconsistent and will be as divisive as ever, but it's easier to stomach when the game surrounding the wrestling action gives you more reasons to play. WWE 2K19 might not reach the lofty heights of wrestling video gaming's heyday--or maybe that's just the nostalgia talking--but it's 2K's best effort so far. Maybe next year we'll be on to a true title contender."
So far, these are the only deals for WWE 2K19 that we've found so far. Be sure to keep track of our roundup of Black Friday deals on GameSpot.
