Black Friday 2018 itself is over, but you still have some time to act on GameStop's deals--they end today, Sunday. We've got all the info you need to get killer deals on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch below. You can expect more game deals for Cyber Monday.
In terms of console deals, you can get an Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Creators bundle for $200, or knock $70 off any Xbox One or S. On the PS4 side of things, a PlayStation 4 1TB with Spider-Man is on sale for $200. All other PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch deals come with a $50 GameStop gift card (in-store only).
For a whole lot more upcoming deals, check out our Black Friday deals hub, where you can find out what discounts all the big game retailers will offer next week.
Black Friday 2018 is behind us but the various deals and discounts that became available for it are still around for you to take advantage of. If you've done your due diligence and checked out early ads to scope out what you want, you'll be one step ahead of the rest in scoring those deals, but if you haven't done the extra leg work, we're here to help. Best Buy's full ad included a ton of games, all of which we've outlined below.
There are a bunch of PS4, Xbox One, and Switch games on sale, along with hardware and accessories. Best Buy's console deals are limited in number, but they present a good way to pick up any of the big systems. Many of them are similar to what you'll find at other stores, but it does have what might be the best deal on an Xbox One X. For $430, you get a special-edition Xbox One X that's bundled with November's Battlefield V, plus a second controller.
Those looking for a PS4 can get one bundled with Marvel's Spider-Man, which just released in September, for $200. $200 can also get you an Xbox One S Minecraft bundle. If you're in the market for a Nintendo Switch, you'll get the same offer at places like Target, which is a $300 bundle (the standard price of the system) that includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The bulk of the gaming offers are on specific games. Among the highlights is the recently released Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for $45, God of War for $25, and PUBG (Xbox One) for $15. For $30, you can get Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Madden NFL 19, NBA 2K19, or Forza Horizon 4. Switch, which often doesn't get a lot of discounts, has a number of games on sale, including Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze for $40, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle for $20, and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for $35. 3DS owners can pick up Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for $20 each.
Outside of individual games, Best Buy has deals on a variety of accessories, including a 30% discount on all Astro headsets. But some of the best offers it has are for subscriptions: You can get 12 months of PlayStation Plus for $40 or 12 months of Xbox Game Pass for $70. Considering the latter gets you access to certain games you might be buying on sale (like Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves), it could be a preferable option.
Read on for the full list of game deals, and check out our roundup of all Black Friday deals for much more.
It's Black Friday 2018 weekend, so the delicious food has been replaced with hot deals and discounts. One of the best offers this year is for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the latest game in the unstoppable shooter series. In addition to featuring the traditional multiplayer and zombies modes, Treyarch's newest entry debuted the franchise's first jump into the battle royale craze with Blackout, which is among the game's most well-received offerings.
We first saw Black Ops 4 pop up in the Target ad for $45, but it turns out it won't have the cheapest way to buy the game. Best Buy ($45) and PlayStation Store ($48) have also discounted the game. Currently GameStop has it priced at $38--although you have to go into a physical store to get that deal. Walmart has undercut GameStop so you could buy it for $37 on both PS4 and Xbox One, although that price has since jumped up to $39, which is still a great deal.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is no doubt one of the more experimental entries in recent years, yet it still offered a satisfying package to dive into. While last year's World War II was well received, Black Ops 4 offered a larger focus on giving players new ways to experience COD gameplay across its key gameplay pillars, which includes multiplayer, zombies--featuring multiple storylines and levels--the new Blackout battle royale game type, and a light story mode focusing on each of the playable Specialists.
Reviews editor Kallie Plagge gave the game an 8 in our review of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and stated: "Black Ops 4 isn't short on content, and its three main modes are substantial. Multiplayer introduces more tactical mechanics without forcing you into them, and it largely strikes a good balance. Zombies has multiple deep, secret-filled maps to explore, though its returning characters don't hold up and prove distracting. Finally, Blackout pushes Call of Duty in an entirely new direction, making use of aspects from both multiplayer and Zombies for a take on the battle royale genre that stands on its own. Sure, there isn't a traditional single-player campaign, but with the depth and breadth of what is there, Black Ops 4 doesn't need it."
Here are the links to the deals you can find on Target, and we'll update this post with any other deals that come in from other retailers. If you're at all curious about World War II, there is also a planned Target deal for Call of Duty: WWII as well for $25.
Black Friday 2018 is behind us but many of the deals that will save you some money during the shopping event are still available. When it comes to Xbox One, many deals have already gone live, and the bottom line is you can get a great price on an Xbox One (X or S), games, Xbox Live Gold, and more. Based on early ads from Walmart, GameStop, Best Buy, Target, and other retailers, we've assembled a complete list of Xbox One deals below, and we have a roundup of the best Xbox One Black Friday deals.
[Update] UK retailer John Lewis has thrown its hat into the Black Friday 2018 ring with a pretty nice Xbox One X deal, for those looking to upgrade to the most powerful console on the market. It is currently available for £360 and includes Forza Horizon 4, Forza Motorsport 7, making it ideal for the racing game fan in your life. For those in the US, various deals continue to pop up on places like Ebay, and we'll be keeping our eye out for more as we head toward Cyber Monday.
If you've been keeping an eye out for deals, you'll know the early ads store including Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart laid out what we'll be able to save some cash on. Additionally, the Xbox Store deals are live now, and this has expanded to included even non-Xbox Live Gold members (though the discounts may not be as great). Ebay has also been rolling some some terrific offers.
If it's a console you're after, both Xbox One X and Xbox One S will be discounted significantly. Kohl's will offer an Xbox One X 1TB bundled with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and $120 Kohl's Cash for $400, while Best Buy has a special-edition version of the system bundled with Battlefield 5 and a second controller for $430.
In terms of Xbox One S, Kohl's has an Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Creators Bundle and $60 Kohl's Cash for $200. (Enter promo code CHEERFUL at checkout--or print out the coupon in the Black Friday ad--and you'll save an extra 15% on Kohl's deals.) Other stores will have the system for around $200. Additionally, extra Xbox One controllers will be available for $40 at Kohl's, Target, and the Microsoft Store, among other places. The Microsoft Store will also offer a month of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold for $1 each.
In terms of Xbox One games, stores will have some excellent discounts on a number of big-name titles. Fallout 76 will be $40 at GameStop and is already that price on the Xbox Store (the deal requires Xbox Live Gold, which you'll need to play the game itself), Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be $40 at Walmart, while the toys-to-life game Starlink: Battle for Atlas Starter Pack is $35 at Best Buy (down from $75). Other terrific deals include Assassin's Creed Odyssey for $30 at Best Buy and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds for $15 at Target and Best Buy.
There's too much to round up in the text here, so hit the full lists below for all things Xbox that are on sale--you'll even find cheap backwards compatible games on sale. We'll continue to update this as more deals are revealed, so stay tuned, and follow all of our coverage in our full list of Black Friday deals.
[Update]For UK shoppers, Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4 is available for £30 from Currys. It is not available for delivery, so you'll have to head down to a story to get it. This deal is only gong to be available until November 30, and while stocks last, so act fast if you're interested. Other deals can be found in the list below, but they could always sell out. Worst case, you have the end of the PSN sale to pick up a digital copy for $40.
[Original Story] It's the day after Thanksgiving and, sadly, all the turkey is gone. However, Black Friday is finally here, and we're seeing lots of great deals on video games swinging in. But what is surprising is how much you can save on games that came out just a month or two ago. If the PS4 exclusive Spider-Man has been on your wishlist or gift list, now is the time to grab it, because it's on sale for a great price at several retailers right now, and you're not likely to find it cheaper anytime soon.
Spider-Man launched on September 7 exclusively for PlayStation 4. Made by veteran PlayStation developer Insomniac Games, the company behind the Ratchet & Clank series, it has received almost universally high marks from critics and players alike.
GameSpot scored Spider-Man 9/10, with Edmond Tran writing, "The feeling of embodying Spidey and using his abilities is astonishing, and the time spent on exploring its major characters help make its story feel heartfelt, despite superhero bombast. There have been open-world Spider-Man games before, but none so riveting and full of personality, none that explore and do justice to this many facets of the universe. Insomniac has created a superior Spider-Man experience that leaves a lasting impression, one that has you longing for just one more swing around New York City, even after the credits roll." You can read more in our Spider-Man PS4 review.
The post-release content for Spider-Man includes three DLC episodes. Two are available now, and the final episode is due out in December.
There were a lot of games on sale this Black Friday, and this includes the recently released Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar's latest--and arguably greatest--open-world title was being discounted at a few select retailers, as well as on online stores, and a few are still available. Although it's primarily the more expensive editions of the game seeing a price cut, there are some options available for those looking to experience the wild west epic.
[Update] New Black Fridaydeals are coming around the clock, and one such example was Red Dead Redemption 2 for only $45 on Xbox One. That's unfortunate sold out now, but we'll continue to look out for additional details as Cyber Monday draws near.
All the current RDR2 Black Friday deals are outlined below. We will continue to add to the list as new discounts are announced. Be sure to stay on top of when specific retailers--like Best Buy and Walmart--open and close their doors for Black Friday so you can plan accordingly.
For now, the best Black Friday Red Dead Redemption 2 deals are available through the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store. The normally $80 Special Edition is being lowered to around $70 for Black Friday. The Special Edition comes with the base game, as well as a bank robbery mission and gang hideout, Dappled Black Thoroughbred horse, talisman and medallion in-game bonuses, boosts, cash discounts, the Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger outfit, and several free weapons. The even more expensive Ultimate edition drops to $90 on both platforms. As of this writing, you'll need an Xbox Live Gold membership to take advantage of the Xbox pricing.
Rakuten is offering the Xbox One version of the game for $40 on its website. You'll need to have an account and ensure you're logged in first, and then apply the discount code BF20 to see the price drop.
Physical retailers are selling the game at full price but with a bonus item. At Best Buy, the Black Friday deal comes with RDR2 and a special collapsible cup. At Walmart, the Black Friday deal is for the store's exclusive steelbook edition. Ebay has also announced it will have a bundle with the Xbox One version of the game and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for $70.
In our Red Dead Redemption 2 review, Kallie Plagge gave the game a 9/10, writing, "Red Dead Redemption 2 is an excellent prequel, but it's also an emotional, thought-provoking story in its own right, and it's a world that is hard to leave when it's done."
Red Dead Redemption 2 is only available for Xbox One and PS4.
Black Friday is over but many of the deals you've been waiting to secure are still live. We've rounded up all of the Nintendo Switch deals we've come across for you below. While some may have been fully claimed, there's a fair few that are still available, and with Cyber Monday around the corner more should appear soon. While not as exciting as the unexpected Fallout 76 deals on other platforms, Nintendo's Eshop Cyber Deals sale has grown with more digital Switch games added to the lineup.
In terms of the Nintendo Switch console, we're seeing an identical deal popping up in a lot of places since we first saw it in Target's preview ad. Target, Walmart, and Best Buy will sell the system for $300, as per usual (or $299 in Walmart's case), but the system will be a special bundle that comes with a free copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Unfortunately, if you were hoping for a sub-$300 Switch, we have yet to see anyone drop the system's price. If the aforementioned bundle doesn't appeal to you, Kohl's has a more expensive option that also comes with $90 in Kohl's Cash.
A large number of Switch games are on sale, although the sheer scale of these deals is not the same as on PS4 or Xbox One, as you'd expect. Still, there are some good offers: last year's surprisingly excellent XCOM-like, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, drops to $20 at Best Buy; Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate drops to $35 at Target, Walmart, and Best Buy; Arms goes to $35 at Walmart; and Bayonetta 2 (which includes the previous game) will be $40 at Best Buy.
Nintendo will presumably launch its own game sale through the Switch Eshop, but as of yet that has not yet begun, as is the case with the PSN and Xbox Live sales. We'll report back if (but, more likely, when) it does.
Below, you'll find all of the Black Friday deals on Switch consoles, games, and accessories that we've spotted so far. More deals should be announced in the day ahead, and we'll keep this page updated. For even more, check out our full Black Friday deals coverage.
Take-Two teased a stealth spy game called Agent as far back as 2007, but after multiple delays and only the faintest hint of updates over the last decade it appeared the project was dead. Now a trademark update seems to confirm that Agent has been permanently taken out of the field.
A status update to the trademark with the US Patent and Trademark Office marks the trademark as abandoned as of November 19, 2018. The status field states plainly, "Abandoned because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued."
So after being alerted to the expiration, Take-Two chose to quietly let it go. That's as strong an indication as we've seen that the game is truly gone. However, it could also be that Take-Two is planning to rebrand with a different name, or implement some of its stealth-spy mechanics elsewhere. Based on the long period of silence we've had, it's likely the project is simply no longer in active production.
Fallout 76 takes the classic post-apocalyptic series in a wildly new direction. While the series has long been known for its lengthy and detailed single-player campaigns, this one trades all that for an online connected experience. As one of the first to emerge from a Control Vault, your job is to help rebuild society. But can this single-player RPG series make a clean transition to a connected survival game?
Reviews are starting to populate the earth, and so far they're fairly negative. While plenty of them mention a wide variety of technical issues and bugs, the consensus appears to agree that there are more fundamental problems at play. Its gameplay systems are often called half-baked or deserving of an early access title. While Bethesda has stated its intention to treat this as a live game and continue to build on it forever, right now the first explorers are dealing with a rough wasteland. This cold reception appears to have led to quicker-than-usual discount prices.
Read on for more reviews from around the industry, or check GameSpot sister site Metacritic for more reviews. And if you do venture out into the wastes, check out how to get some Power Armor.

GameSpot -- 4/10
"Bethesda has stated it intends to continue supporting the game for a long time, but at launch, Fallout 76 is a poor experience. There are echoes of the series' admirable qualities, but look past that facade, past the cute Vault Boy animations, past the familiar radio tracks, and you'll find no heart--just an inconsequential wasteland doomed to be nuked over and over again." -- Edmond Tran [Full review]
Hooked Gamers -- 7.6/10
"Fallout 76 is Fallout, and it isn't Fallout at the same time. And for all the hype around the multiplayer, both friend and foe, it seems inconsequential most of the time. Just passer-bys on the street more often than not, it's there but it doesn't matter. It's a fun game, but I don't think it's going to be a timeless classic I return to time and time again years from now once I feel I've had enough." -- Johnathan Irwin [Full review]
PC Gamer -- 6/10
"Despite the considerable issues with the PC version, I've still had long stretches of fun with Fallout 76. I really wish PvP had more at stake than lost junk (or at least more willing participants) but the world retains a lot of what I love about Bethesda's previous RPGs with finely crafted environments, enjoyable weapons and crafting, and surprising little scraps of story to uncover and investigate. Like Valley Galleria, though, it doesn't take long to for the shine to fade, the once-fascinating areas to lose their wonder among the mobs of identical enemies I've killed there time and time again." -- Christopher Livingston [Full review]
Games Radar -- 2.5/5
"Remember: as it's an MMO, there's the real possibility that just like Elder Scrolls Online the Fallout 76 of today is going to be very different to the Fallout 76 of next year, so while it's not worth jumping into Appalachia right now, spend some time in your own personal Vault and emerge again when the radioactive dust has settled." -- Zoe Delahunty-Light [Full review]
VideoGamer -- 4/10
"The measures Bethesda has taken to get it online come with their own weight. Out with the NPCs but in comes a server full of people. Out with V.A.T.S. but in with survival elements. Out with the bugs – no, wait, they can stay. The rest has been jumbled around or replaced with something heavier. How funny that in a game built on cuts and compromise, you wind up wishing for even more to be scrapped. Life was lighter down in the vault." -- Josh Wise [Full review]
The Guardian -- 2/5
"Previous Fallout games always had something to say about the post-apocalypse and the human factors that led to it; here, it's reduced to shooting mutants and picking up rubbish. Even if, in the future, it mutates into something more stable, it will still feel eerily soulless." -- Holly Nielsen [Full review]
USGamer -- 2/5
"Fallout 76 isn't particularly indicative of the best of the modern Fallout games, nor is it an amazing survival game given its competition. It's not the worst game in the world or anything, but it very much just exists. It merely says, "I'm here too," instead of standing out. Fallout 76 in its current state is the game version of the Amphicar Model 770: it sometimes works, but it's still the worst of both worlds." -- Mike Williams [Full review]
The Monster Hunter series is known for its loot, as players defeat enormous beasts for parts so they can craft some stylish duds and weapons from their bones and skins. Our first look at the upcoming Monster Hunter film starring Milla Jovovich and Ron Perlman shows that aspect is definitely making the transition to the big screen.
In the movie still shared by Sony, we see Jovovich and costar Tony Jaa dressed in some post-apocalyptic leathers and metals. But it's Jaa's weaponry that really catches the eye. In one hand he's brandishing a massive sword that appears to be the Giant Jawblade, while the other hand holds a more obscured bone-bow.
That signals that the movie will be true to the series in at least one aspect: the concept of hunters crafting their gear out of the fallen remains of monsters is alive and well. Presumably after completing a hunt they won't have to farm it a dozen more times to get the full set.
Jovovich plays Artemis, a UN military commander who gets transported to a different universe crawling with beasts. She teams up with Hunter (Jaa) to close the portal and keep the monsters from coming to earth. Along the way they'll meet up with familiar characters from the universe like the Admiral. It's being directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who also directed his wife Jovovich in adaptations of Capcom's Resident Evil franchise. A release date has not been announced.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features a very full roster of every Smash character ever, along with some new additions. One conspicuously absent member of the roster is Waluigi, the Luigi doppelganger who has featured in several Mario sports games. The fan outcry has been ongoing, and rest assured, Nintendo has heard you.
Speaking to Nintendo of Canada's Andrew Collins, Okay Cool noted the fan campaign to put Waluigi in the game, including an appearance in the Washington Post. Collins made it clear the company has seen your pleas and passion.
"I think it's great when something builds naturally because, you know, as a marketer, when you have something that goes viral like that it's brilliant," he said. "You can't buy that. You can't create it. And when the fans do something like that, it's amazing. But it's so good to see from a passionate side of things. And let's face it, it's funny. I've seen some of the photos. I've seen some of the artwork that people have created, and it's fantastic to see their passion."
Obviously, this isn't a promise that Waluigi will actually come to the game, but an acknowledgement from Nintendo that it has seen the response is more than nothing. That may be enough to prompt the company to add him as downloadable content.
Nintendo has already announced the addition of five more fighters are coming as DLC, along with the free Piranha Plant DLC for early purchasers. Each pack will cost $6 and come with one new fighter, one new stage, and a variety of music tracks. They will be available as a bundle for $25, which will also net you an outfit based on Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The roster for these DLC fighters is already set, so if Waluigi is ultimately destined to Smash with the rest of his compatriots, the plans are already in-motion.
The last round of announced characters included Incineroar from Pokemon and Ken from Street Fighter, and you can see them in action here. Smash Bros. Ultimate will hit on December 7. For more details check out our pre-order guide.
One of the best deals going this holiday season is a PlayStation 4 bundle that includes the hit game Spider-Man for a cool $200. Though many retailers listed it as available on Black Friday, it's already available almost everywhere, so you can get started early. Even Target, which listed it as a doorbuster exclusively on Black Friday, has already activated the marked down price.
These sale prices come right alongside the launch of its second piece of downloadable content, Turf Wars. It's the second chapter of the ongoing City That Never Sleeps storyline, which began with The Heist. In that chapter Spidey teamed up with Black Cat to take on the mob boss Hammerhead with some very personal stakes. After the first game ended on a cliffhanger, this second chapter continues the story of Hammerhead's war on the other crime bosses. The third chapter, Silver Lining, will launch in December.
"The feeling of embodying Spidey and using his abilities is astonishing, and the time spent on exploring its major characters help make its story feel heartfelt, despite superhero bombast," wrote critic Edmond Tran in GameSpot's Spider-Man PS4 review. "There have been open-world Spider-Man games before, but none so riveting and full of personality, none that explore and do justice to this many facets of the universe. Insomniac has created a superior Spider-Man experience that leaves a lasting impression, one that has you longing for just one more swing around New York City, even after the credits roll."
The perpetually doomed Sean Bean has shown up in Hitman 2, and it's your job to wipe him out again. Bean appears as the game's first Elusive Target, a man named Mark Faba who has earned the reputation as impossible to kill. He's even earned the nickname "The Undying" for the number of times he's escaped assassination by faking his own death.
The mission takes you to Miami, where Faba is trying to complete his own assassination contract at the Global Innovation Race. You'll have 14 days to complete the free mission, but you only get one shot and you can't save your game. If you complete the challenge you'll get the Explosive Pen weapon added to your inventory. But if Faba escapes or if you die or fail the mission in any way, you'll have lost your only chance.
A new trailer released alongside the Elusive Target mission highlights some of the ways you can pick off the target. You could use a sniper rifle from across the racetrack, or you could get a little more up close and personal: rig the room to explode, or even pierce his eye with a pen a la the Joker in The Dark Knight. As the trailer notes, many more opportunities will present themselves in the mission as well.
Choosing Sean Bean for the game's first Elusive Target is a bit of a meta-gag on the part of the developers. The character actor has become known for playing characters who die, so making him a slippery target who constantly fakes his own death matches. In the first game, actor Gary Busey had a guest role as an Elusive Target.
"Hitman is about experiencing the anticipation of seeing whether a plan will work when you try it for the first time," critic Edmond Tran said in GameSpot's Hitman 2 review. "It's about feeling the tension of briskly walking away from a bad situation, hoping you can lose the suspicious guards. It's the satisfaction of knowing the machinations of a level so well that when a target moves into a particular place at a particular time, you have the perfect way to intervene. Hitman 2 is a familiar experience, but in the Hitman world, familiarity is an incredible strength."
Firaxis has announced its second major expansion to Civilization 6, called Gathering Storm. The name is apropos, as it will introduce a number of new environmental effects along with other new features like a world congress, power and renewable energy, and more. It will release on February 14, 2019 for $40 on PC. The announcement did not detail Switch or mobile release plans.
The weather and power resources go hand-in-hand, as you'll be making choices that can impact the ecosystem and the fate of the planet. Natural disasters can wipe out your lands, but they could also enrich the land after they clear out. You'll be able to develop new advanced technologies and engineering projects, and negotiate plans with the world congress. Gathering Storm will also add eight more civs and nine more leaders, along with seven new wonders, and lots of buildings, districts, and so on.
Environmental effects include volcanoes, storms like blizzards and hurricanes, climate change, floods, and droughts. Your strategic resources will be consumed in power plants to produce electricity, but as time passes you can turn from a coal- and oil-based energy to renewable energy sources. Your choices regarding renewable energy can also have an effect on world temperature, melting ice caps, and rising sea levels.
You'll have new tools to deal with these global threats, with developments like canals, dams, tunnels, and railroads to overcome obstacles in your land. As your civilization evolves you can start to develop cities that are more protected thanks to flood barriers, expanding your build areas. You can also form alliances, influence city states, and compete in world games with the world congress. You'll be able to call a special session to address emergencies, vote on resolutions, and use diplomatic favor to negotiate promises from world leaders. A new era will also be added to the Technology and Civics trees to deal directly with the environmental effects.
The nine new leaders will each bring their own bonuses and nine new units, four new buildings, three improvements, two districts, and one unique governor. Those join the seven new world wonders and seven natural wonders, 18 new units, 15 improvements, 9 new buildings, 5 new districts, 2 new city sets, 9 new techs, and 10 new civics.
Finally, Gathering Storm will add two more scenarios. The Black Death will put you in the middle of the pandemic that ravaged Europe and western Asia and task you with keeping your people alive. The other, War Machine, is a multiplayer scenario putting you in the role of Germany or France at the outset of World War 1, in the midst of the invasion of Belgium. These will come alongside several new changes to the Espionage system, updates to Culture and Science victories, and new Historic Moments.
These all appear primed to add several new layers of strategy to an already complex and enrapturing game. "Civ 6 has a few rough edges, but they're pushed far into the periphery by spectacular strategic depth and intricate interlocking nuances," said critic Scott Butterworth in GameSpot's Civilization 6 review. "Any frustrations I experienced were immediately eclipsed by my desire to continue playing. Just one more turn, every turn, forever."
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is right around the corner, staking its claim to the usually dormant release month of December. It's a massive iteration of the classic arcade fighter franchise, with a wealth of power-ups, modes, and options. To help keep them all straight, Nintendo has released a lengthy trailer.
The Overview trailer goes over the broad selection of characters and stages, the various types of power-ups you can expect to see, the Adventure mode, new Spirits mode, various multiplayer modes and options, Amiibo support, and more. It's a very thorough look at all Smash Bros. Ultimate has to offer, clocking in at more than seven minutes long. It's also all narrated to comedic effect by the Smash announcer.
Not quite all of the developments from previous Smash games are making the transition, though. We recently learned that it won't let you set custom moves like you could in Smash 4 on Wii U and 3DS. And while you can train your fighters with the Amiibo functionality, some of the new roster additions aren't coming in figurine form until next year. We did, however, get a nice look at some of the newest fighters in action.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is coming on December 7. Check out our guide to everything we know for more details.
Valve's Steam Link device is almost sold out, and the company has signaled it doesn't plan to restock. It's already completely gone in Europe, and the company says it's almost sold out in the US as well.
In a statement, Valve said it "intends to continue supporting the existing Steam Link hardware as well as distribution of the software versions of Steam Link." That statement could signal a new version of the Steam Link hardware coming, or simply letting existing users know that they'll keep receiving support. The name has also been applied to a mobile app (available on non-Apple devices) and it has been integrated into TVs. The statement points out that support for those digital applications will continue as well.
The Steam Link allowed you to stream games from your gaming PC onto any display. Games could be streamed at 1080p and 60 FPS, and the device supported the Steam controller as well as third-party ones like the Xbox One, as long as you have the proper attachments for wireless controllers. The Steam Link went on sale last year for $20, and then received an even deeper temporary discount later in the year. Valve may have been attempting to clear some stock.
Steam Link was one budget option for getting your PC games onto your living room display, as long as you had a powerful PC to run the games natively. Valve also produced Steam Machines for the same purpose, to make PC gaming a more console-like plug-and-play experience.
Kingdom Hearts 3 has completed development, and Square Enix has released a new trailer to mark the occasion. While most of the prior trailers have focused primarily on a single cameo like Pooh Bear or Rapunzel, this one celebrates the full scope of the Disney mash-up. You may see it in cinemas if you go to see a movie in the near future.
The "Together" trailer featured above includes characters and settings from Frozen, Tangled, Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Big Hero Six, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Hercules. Those join some familiar locales from the history of the series, as this final entry looks to wrap up its sprawling story of light battling against the forces of darkness.
The tweet that announced production had wrapped also mentioned that now would be a good time to catch up with Kingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8. Each of those are included in the Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far bundle, which costs $40. That includes both of the remastered previous mainline games, along with side-stories like Chain of Memories, Birth By Sleep, and Dream Drop Distance.
Kingdom Hearts 3 releases January 29, 2019, and will be the first new numbered entry since Kingdom Hearts 2 in 2005. Fans have been waiting a long time to see this story resolve, and Square Enix and Disney have put the requisite work in to make it a treat for fans--including pulling familiar voices from its various Disney movies.
Bungie has given word on when to expect Destiny 2's next big paid update, Black Armory, along with a heads-up about some growing pains that may come along with it. The new content will drop on December 4, and Bungie warns that the week prior may raise unforeseen issues as it prepares to roll out the update.
In an update on the official blog, the team says it is working to make a list of temporary changes so players will know what to expect, and it encourages anyone impacted by unexpected bugs help forum.
The Black Armory is part of the new Season of the Forge, which will begin on November 27. It will be followed by the Season of the Drifter, followed by another unnamed season. Season of the Forge will add the new The Dawning event, new Crucible content, and new weapons. Annual Pass holders who can access the Black Armory will get Light and Fury weapons, the new Forges of the Chain activity, a Raid Lair, Exotics, and Legendaries.
The blog also noted a set of changes coming to the PvP/PvE hybrid Gambit Mode. Infamy will be more readily available, with Infamy rank point awards for all bounties being doubled. Various challenges have been retuned to be easier to complete and a new bounty rewards Primeval envoy kills. Ranking up in subdivisions will award Legendary weapons and armor. Plus the players who receive their Primeval second can only receive one "catch-up" stack of Primeval Slayer, rather than multiple stacks based on performance.
If you need to rack up Infamy, next week will be the time. A Double Infamy event will take place next Tuesday, November 20 through Friday, November 23, followed by a Triple Infamy event from November 23 through Tuesday, November 27.
Finally, Bungie suggested the transition into the next year of Destiny 2 will come with its own changes and plans for the future. The company has previously said it has a full year of content planned following Forsaken. Black Armory will be the first piece of content for Annual Pass holders and more free content for everyone is coming.
"The time has come to begin a new conversation about how the Destiny endgame will continue to thrive in the months to come," the blog states. "What will each Season hold for every player of Destiny 2? How will the Annual Pass add to that experience? These are the questions we want to answer as we introduce you to a whole way to to enjoy your hobby as a Guardians with new challenges to conquer and new rewards you'll want to add to your inventory.
"Next week, as the holiday season begins in our neck of the woods, the news coming out of our studio will be random and light. The week after, we'll be exploring all the details of another kind of season. Stay tuned for what comes next."
This comes just after Activision publicly noted that Destiny 2's Forsaken expansion failed to meet sales targets. In that call, the company signaled that it would be looking for new ways for players to spend through in-game microtransactions. As Bungie plans whatever it has in store for seasonal content, it may also have to make changes to answer for revenue expectations from the game's publisher.
Sony has announced a new PlayStation 4 bundle that includes Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Though plenty of PS4 bargains will be awaiting shoppers on store shelves during Black Friday, this one actually goes on sale the following week for those patient enough to wait for their deal.
The bundle includes a 1TB PlayStation 4, DualShock controller, and Black Ops 4, for $300. A 1TB console by itself costs the same, so this essentially throws the game in for free. It will be available in retail stores on November 27.
This isn't the best deal going on a new PlayStation 4. A Black Friday bundle offers the same 1TB system with a copy of Spider-Man for $200. For that price you could add Black Ops 4 at standard price get two games for less than the price of a bundle that includes just one. However, that one is tied to Black Friday and will probably only be available for a limited time, while the Black Ops 4 bundle appears to be more standard.
GameSpot's Black Ops 4 review found the package felt complete even without a single-player campaign. "Sure, there isn't a traditional single-player campaign, but with the depth and breadth of what is there, Black Ops 4 doesn't need it," wrote critic Kallie Plagge.
For more bargains check out our round-ups of all things Black Friday, which includes more deals on PS4 systems and games, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles, and a lot more.
Battlefield V is now going live for subscribers to EA or Origin Access, after a long wait punctuated by a last-minute delay. This one takes the series back to the iconic setting of World War 2, but does a return to the Greatest Generation make for a great game?
While reviews are starting to roll in, some sites are publishing early impressions or reviews-in-progress, including GameSpot. And in a year when Battlefield's major competitor, Call of Duty, has eschewed a single-player campaign, the presence of one in Battlefield V seems to be standing out. The consensus agrees that the package as shipped already has a lot to explore thanks to the campaign and multiplayer, even knowing more is on the way. Its battle royale mode Firestorm is coming next year, and DICE has built a reputation for long-term support.
GameSpot's Battlefield V early impressions found it maintained the scale we've come to expect from a Battlefield game. "There's a lot more to dig into, like the fortification system, squad reinforcements perks, and how destruction may change map dynamics, and spending more time with the game will paint a better picture," wrote critic Michael Higham. "At the end of the day, it's still Battlefield, and Battlefield V is shaping up to be a good one at that."

Game: Battlefield V
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One
Developer / publisher: DICE / Activision
Release date: Out now (limited) / Wide release November 20
Price: US $60 / £50 / AU $69
GameSpot -- No Score
"As of now, it feels as if Battlefield V is a variation on a well-established theme. It maintains the series tradition of grand spectacle with incredible sound design, impactful weaponry, and large-scale multiplayer chaos." -- Michael Higham [Full review]
Gaming Trend -- 9/10
"After spending quite a while with the game, I'm blown away that there's still so much to discover. With dozens of collectibles to find in the single player campaign, a seemingly-unlimited number of weekly challenges, and the Tides of War looming large on the horizon, Battlefield V is the best this series has ever been, and easily the best FPS of the season." -- Ron Burke [Full review]
PC Games N -- 9/10
"Battlefield V delivers the series' finest single-player campaign yet, painting the horror of war from rarely seen perspectives. That tension carries through to the multiplayer, which has been tuned to hammer home your vulnerability in a firefight." -- James McMahon [Full review]
CG Magazine -- 8/10
"Despite the bad press at the start, I have a lot of faith in DICE as a developer and they have delivered a fantastic shooter this year with Battlefield V after listening to their community and taking their feedback seriously." -- Cole Watson [Full review]
Digital Trends -- 6/10
"Battlefield V is a fine World War II shooter and it has the potential to turn into a great one with a few updates and the addition of its post-launch modes, but with Black Ops 4 providing such a rich and engaging competitive experience and last year's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus offering a better (and more upfront) Nazi-shooting campaign, there's little reason for this game to be your first choice. That's partially a testament to the strength of its competition, but Battlefield V fails to impress the same way Battlefield 1 did. By all means, give it a try if you're a fan of DICE's previous work, but know that you'll have to put up with some pretty glaring faults." -- Gabe Gurwin [Full review]
One of the latest PS4 deals to roll in is an alternative bundle at Walmart. You get a PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and a controller, all for $299. That's a full $100 more than the Spider-Man bundle we saw at most stores, but this is still getting anywhere from $100-$120 worth of extra stuff for what you'd normally pay just to get a PS4, so it's not a terrible option.
Black Friday 2018 is officially over but that certainly doesn't mean the deals are at an end. Especially for those who are shopping for a PS4 or PS4 games, you've got a massive selection of deals to sift through. It's a great time to pick up the system, physical games, PS Plus, controllers, and more, and the PSN games sale provides an easy route to picking up digital titles. We've done our best to round up all the deals from Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and other retailers, but with Friday winding to a close, don't be surprise if you find some things are sold out.
We've seen some unexpected deals pop up. Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 76, and Spider-Man all looked as if they wouldn't be discounted, but we've seen sales periodically pop up for each of them in various forms. We may continue to see things like this surface as we head toward Cyber Monday.
Sony itself has announced its Black Friday promotions, and you'll find a lot of what retailers have to offer line up with these deals. When it comes to PS4 consoles, the best option announced so far is from Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and Sam's Club all of which get you a PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB and Spider-Man as a pack-in game for $200 (or $199 in the case of Walmart and Sam's Club). That's a great deal, seeing as the console normally costs around $300 and Spider-Man costs $60. Given it's part of Sony's official lineup of deals, you can expect to find this pretty much everywhere--and not only that, but the deal seems to have gone live early at most every store.
In terms of PS4 accessories, another doorbuster Target will offer is a PlayStation VR bundle that comes with a camera, Move controllers, Creed: Rise to Glory, and Superhot VR, all for $250; that deal is mirrored at Best Buy. If you want a cheaper route, several stores will have a $200 PSVR bundle. Also, both Target, Best Buy, and Kohl's will have DualShock 4 controllers available for $40, while Walmart beats them at $39. Again $200 for PSVR and $40 for controllers are among Sony's official Black Friday deals, so expect to see those from a lot of stores.
On the PS4 games side of the equation, there's plenty to save money on. The recent release Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will drop to $40 at Walmart. Fallout 76 drops to $40 at GameStop in-store, while PSN has Spider-Man for $40. Another recent one, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, will be available for $30. Both Detroit: Become Human and God of War will be available for $25 each, as will Far Cry 5. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is at its cheapest (so far) at Best Buy, where it'll be $30.
We've gathered all of the PlayStation 4 deals announced so far into one place so you can get the best deal on whatever it is you're looking for. We'll keep this article updated as more retailers announce new Black Friday deals.
If you missed out on the PS4 Spider-Man bundle or simply weren't interested in that, Walmart has another bundle right now. For $299, you get a PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and an extra controller. That's $100 more than you would have spent on Spider-Man bundle, but it's not a bad deal in its own right.
Sony's PS4 system may have launched all the way back in 2013, but it's still incredibly popular and there are plenty of great games available for it. If you're in the market for a PS4 this holiday, you're in luck, as a number of retailers are offering nice discounts for Black Friday. If you're in the market for one, we're going to help you get a PS4 at a good price.
Sony's official Black Friday promotions on PS4 essentially lays out what the early ads and deals from stores are offering. When it comes to PS4 itself, the big deal is a $200 bundle including a 1 TB console and a copy of Marvel's Spider-Man. You'll find an identical sale at Best Buy, Walmart, and a number of other retailers, and they're all live right now--even Target, which labeled this as a doorbuster in its ad.
You could argue that $200 would be a nice price for the system alone, but to get a $60 game that was just released in September makes it even sweeter. Unfortunately, those looking for a PS4 Pro have far fewer options; there is a $405 Spider-Man bundle on Ebay as of this writing, but little beyond that.
If you're waiting for other deals, many stores will actually open on Thanksgiving Day, and as noted above, Best Buy early access has already begun. We're sure to see more deals pop up for PS4, and we'll continue to update this post as they emerge.
On the games side, we've already seen confirmed discounts for some of PS4's biggest games of the year, including God of War, NBA 2K19, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. We'll be hunting for deals all month long, so be sure to check back with us as more Black Friday ads are revealed, and check out our roundup of PS4 deals.
While not nearly as cheap as the PS4 Spider-Man bundle we saw most everywhere for Black Friday, Walmart currently has an alternative. For $299, you get a PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and a controller. That's $100 more than the aforementioned bundle, but it is still a sizable discount over what getting those three items would normally cost you.
The turkey is a distant memory and Black Friday is technically over, but the annual shopping event has a way of lingering around for a few days, so there's still plenty of Black Friday deals to take advantage of, and that will remain the case even as we head deeper into the weekend. There are numerous sales at Walmart, and while we got a handy heads-up at what's being discounted thanks to its Black Friday ad, some new items are likely to be added as we approach Cyber Monday. Case in point: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was listed for $40, but as of this writing, it's down to $37 on PS4 and Xbox One.
Below, we've rounded up the games, consoles, and accessories for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch that the retailer plans to have on sale. We've also put together a look at Walmart's best Black Friday deals.
The mega retailer has a deal on nearly every console on the market (with PS4 Pro being the notable absence, as it's on sale seemingly nowhere). You can get a PS4 Slim 1TB with Spider-Man for $199--a deal that's already live right now. The Xbox One S Minecraft Creators Bundle are marked down to $199, and you can save $100 on an Xbox One X, bringing the price down to $399. Nintendo Switch still costs $299, but you'll get a free copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the purchase. Finally, Nintendo 2DS with Super Mario Maker is $79. These deals fall in line with the official Black Friday promotions announced by Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo, though Walmart (like Sam's Club) hacks off an extra dollar.
When it comes to games, it might be quicker to list the ones that won't be on sale. There's tons of great deals, making Black Friday a good time to grab anything you've had an eye on recently. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is marked down to $40, which is $5 cheaper than it is at Target and Best Buy. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is dipping to $35, as is Destiny 2: Forsaken Legendary Collection. And while they're not getting discounts, Walmart is offering exclusive steelbook versions of Fallout 76 and Red Dead Redemption 2 for $60 each.
As with many other retailers, Walmart didn't wait until Friday to begin offering its discounts. The deals began at 6 PM local time on Thursday, November 22 (Thanksgiving in the US). Online shoppers got access to the discounts even earlier; Black Friday deals at Walmart.com started on Wednesday, November 21 at 10 PM ET (7 PM PT). That means you should get a move on, if you're interested in any of this because stock may already be running low.
You can find the full list of discounted items for each platform below. And if you want to see all the other items Walmart will have on sale, check out the full Walmart Black Friday ad.
As you work through Fallout 76's main quest line, it's more than likely your progress will come to a screeching halt in the quest "Into the Fire." This is because you're tasked to pass the Fire Breather Knowledge Exam, a multiple-choice test that you're liable to fail if you're unprepared. It's the first step of a longer trial that'll eventually help increase your chances of survival against the dangers of the West Virginia wasteland.
For the uninitiated, the Fire Breathers were a division of fire fighters dedicated to combating the Scorched before 2102, who were masters of surviving the wasteland's more hazardous climates. Passing their exam grants you access to their protective equipment, which you can use to navigate the Ash Heap. Below we detail the answers to the Fire Breather Knowledge Exam, as well as provide another solution for those who need a little direction but don't want the answers.
When you arrive at the Charleston Fire Department, you'll need to take the Knowledge Exam to initiate the process of becoming a Fire Breather. The questions mostly lean on your common sense, but you might run into some issues answering the questions correctly. Luckily for you, there is a cheat sheet in the main office upstairs. Refer to the screenshots below if you need help pinpointing exactly where it is.
Alternatively, you can search the station for marked notes scattered around the station that provide answers to the test. There are two notes in the same room as the terminal, while there's another in the locker room next door in an open locker. The last note is in the fire truck garage in another open locker. You can probably just look to the first method if you want an easier time!
Exam Answers
While the cheat sheet itself provides pretty much all the answers to the exam, you're free to look below for all the answers. No judgement! Just input them into the Fire Breather Training System terminal downstairs and you should be well on your way.
Question 1:
The tunnel you're traversing has begun filling up with a strange gas and you're without your breathing apparatus. What do you do?
Answer: Evacuate as quickly as possible
Question 2:
While traversing a smoke-filled building, your breathing apparatus has failed. Which of the following will serve as the best replacement?
Answer: A water-soaked rag
Question 3:
One of your fellow Fire Breathers has been burned. The area is painful to the touch, but no blisters are forming. You've applied a cool compress. What's the next thing you should do?
Answer: Gently bind the burn with clean bandages
Question 4:
While exploring a collapsed mine, your team leader flashes their safety light quickly three times. What does this mean?
Answer: Retreat immediately
Question 5:
One of your squadmates has caught a case of Sludge lung. Which of the following sets of ingredients, when cooked together, can be used as a cure?
Challenges for Week 9 of Fortnite Season 6 are now available, but it's not too late to complete those from Week 8. You can see a full breakdown of them in our Week 8 challenges roundup, and you'll probably notice one in particular that looks like it's going to require some more time and effort than the rest. This challenge asks players to find a fish trophy in seven different named locations around the island and dance in front of them. Here's where to find them.
If you've been paying very close attention to the environments in your time with Fortnite, you may have a good idea of where these fish trophies are. But if you haven't, fear not, because we've put together a list of their specific locations below. It's important to note that the "named locations" part is very important, as there are some fish trophies that aren't in named locations, and dancing in front of them won't contribute to completing the challenge.
You can take a look at the locations of the fish trophies below and also watch us complete the challenge in the video above.
Fortnite Fish Trophy Locations
Retail Row: In front of the store
Dusty Diner: Second floor office
Wailing Woods: Inside the bunker
Lonely Lodge: Inside the lodge
Junk Junction: The first floor of the main building
Fatal Fields: Above the fireplace in the main house
Risky Reels: Building at the north side
There are just two weeks left in the rest of Season 6, so if you're planning on getting everything, the clock is ticking. To make catching up a bit easier, you can use our complete Season 6 challenge guide, which will walk you through each week and has detailed information on how to complete the trickier of the challenges.
If you're all up to date, Fortnite has a new limited-time event for you to play. Introduced as part of Fortnite patch 6.30, Food Fight is a team-based event that asks players to pledge their loyalty to one of the two in-game fast food outlets, Durrr Burger and Pizza Pit. Once battle lines are drawn, players must defend their mascot, as the team that manages to destroy their enemy's mascot wins. The patch also throws the Mounted Turret into the mix, which will be handy when defending territory.
This Thanksgiving we're thankful for many things, and among these is Fortnite's Battle Stars. You might think they're not that important in the grand scheme of things, and you're probably right. However, they're crucial to levelling up the Battle Pass and giving us access to those cool cosmetics that briefly make people feel like they're cool, so maybe they are important after all.
We're now in Fortnite Season 6, Week 9, which means there is just one more week left after this one before the season is over. Challenges for the week are available now and although there's nothing too surprising in both the Free and paid Battle Pass sections, you'll have to put in the work to get them done.
In the Free section players will need to get their hands on a vehicle and then catch 30 seconds of airtime. After that they'll need to score 10 or more on three different Carnival Clown Boards, and begin a multi-part quest by eating a mushroom. Once that is consumed, another stage will reveal itself; there are a total of five stages.
In the paid Battle Pass section, you'll need to do 300 points of damage using either a Clinger Stink Bomb, or Grenade. Fortnite's newest weapon, Dynamite, must be used to do 10,000 points of damage to structure for the second challenge. The final two involve getting three kills with a grenade launcher, and then dealing 100 damage to enemies with a grenade. The latter of those two is the first part in a three stage challenge. Take a look at the full challenge list below.
Fortnite Season 6, Week 9 Challenges
Free
Get 30 seconds of airtime in a vehicle -- 5 Battle Star
Get a score of 10 or more on different Carnival Clown Boards (3) -- 5 Battle Stars
Stage 1: Consume Mushrooms (5) -- 10 Battle Stars
Battle Pass
Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade (300) -- 5 Battle Stars
Deal damage to opponent structures with Dynamite (10,000) -- 5 Battle Stars
Rocket or Grenade Launcher eliminations (3) -- 10 Battle Stars
Stage 1: Deal Damage with Grenades to opponents (100) -- 3 Battle Stars
On November 20, developer Epic Games released Fortnite's 6.30 update, introducing a new LTM called Wild West. This mode limits weapons to those that would be used by gunslingers in the Wild West, namely the Hunting Rifle, Pump Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotgun, Six Shooter, and Minigun. The update also brought with it a new weapon called the Dynamite stick. This throwable is also usable in the Wild West LTM and dishes out 70 damage to players and 800 to structures.
After it was made available Epic noticed reports that the Fortnite client was more prone to crashing. As a result of this, the weapon was pulled briefly, before being added back in. As part of the fix, Epic also tweaked the Mounted Turret. You can read the patch notes through the link above to see what else the update tweaked, changed, and added.
Fortnite is also having some dance drama right now, with Scrubs star Donald Faison pointing out that Epic Games has ripped off one of his routines. In Scrubs, Faison busts some slick moves to the tune of Bell Biv Devoe's Poison, and it's become a fairly recognisable routine. This dance has since shown up as an emote in Fortnite. When asked to perform the dance at a recent Scrubs reuntion, Faison said, "If you want to see it, you can play Fortnite, because they jacked that sh**!"
It's the penultimate week of Fortnite Season 6, which means time is quickly running out on completing challenges, getting the Battle Stars, and unlocking cosmetics by levelling up your Battle Pass. But before you start churning through the challenges from previous weeks, you'll need to do the latest batch. And one of them involving Carnival Clown Boards' locations is quite tricky, so we've put together a guide to help you get it done quickly.
The challenge in question is included in the free section of Week 9's offering and tasks players with getting a score of 10 or more on three different Carnival Clown Boards. This is a familiar challenge format, having been previously used for shooting galleries or clay pigeons. Like those challenges, the difficulty lies in finding the actual Carnival Clown Boards. Once you've got your eyes on them, all you need to do activate the board and shoot the balloons as they appear around you, which is not very difficult at all.
So, where are the Carnival Clown Boards? Well, we've found them and put their exact locations below. You can find one east of Junk Junction, another in the Pleasant Park's southwest corner, and the third around the RV park in Lonely Lodge. As an added bonus, there's a fourth one to the northwest of Paradise Palms.
Carnival Clown Board Locations
East of Junk Junction
Southwest corner of Pleasant Park
Lonely Lodge in the RV Park
Northwest of Paradise Palms
With that done, you can see the rest of Fortnite Season 6, Week 9's challenges here. The rest of them are focused on either using specific weapons or stunting in vehicles. Because of this, you'll be able to knock them out by just playing the Battle Royale mode naturally.
Once those are done, you can start working towards completing any outstanding challenges from the rest of Season 6. Lucky for you, we've been putting together guides for the harder challenges on a weekly basis, which means there's a comprehensive Fortnite Season 6 challenge guide to help you along.
Tis the holiday season, or at least it will be very soon, and that usually means streaming services pump out some classic holiday movies. However, Netflix's new arrivals in December feels a little light on holiday fair, but at least the family can curl up next to the fire to spend the morning watching Friday After Next.
December may be a bit light on theatrically-released movies coming to the service for the final month of the year, but it has plenty of Netflix original films and series revolving around the holidays to keep you happy. On December 7, Nailed It! returns for a holiday special, where cooks around the world try their best to recreate beautiful-looking baked deserts and always fail miserably. Sabrina returns on December 14 for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale.
In addition, there are a few non-holiday specials to keep your eye on as well. Andy Serkis' Jungle Book adaptation Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle heads to Netflix on December 7, which was announced it would be coming to the streaming service during the summer. December 14 is a big day for Netflix originals, and aside from Sabrina, Netflix will be revealing new seasons of Fuller House, Voltron, Inside the World's Toughest Prisons, and Travelers.
Netflix also has a nice present for you on December 25, Christmas day. Avengers: Infinity War is coming to the service, so you and your family can come together to watch Thanos try to snap everyone out of existence. That same day, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations: Season 11 will be released as well.
Sadly, there are plenty of movies leaving Netflix in December as well. On December 1, all of Sons of Anarchy will be removed, along with Groundhog Day, Hellraiser, and Cabin Fever. There are a few more notable titles to watch before they leave Netflix like Battle Royale (December 10), Moana (December 20), and Troy (December 30).
Below you'll find everything coming to and leaving Netflix for the month of December.

Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
For obvious reasons, most retailers have been focusing their advertising efforts on Black Friday in recent weeks. But don't let the big post-Thanksgiving shopping day overshadow the online shopping day that's coming right up. November 26 is Cyber Monday, the biggest online shopping day of the year. To encourage customers to come back to retail websites with credit cards in hand, Walmart has announced several of its upcoming Cyber Monday deals already.
Most notable among them on the gaming side is a Nintendo Switch bundle that gets you the system and a copy of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle for $299. This is roughly comparable to Switch's big Black Friday bundle, which had Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in place of Kingdom Battle. But if XCOM-style strategy is more your jam than kart racing, this make actually be a preferable bundle.
Walmart's deals will go live at 12 AM ET on November 26 (9 PM PT November 25). Walmart says it will have "thousands more deals" this year than it's had on Cyber Mondays in the past. It also promises stock will be more plentiful, so customers will be more likely to get the deals they want when they click on them.
Also new this year is Walmart.com's deal hub, which offers a curated list of the top discounted items across a number of product categories--including video games and media. We still don't know all of the deals Walmart will offer on Cyber Monday--we'll have to wait until the big day for that--but the company has released the following list of some of the best sale prices that will be on offer.
Why would we talk about Cyber Monday 2018 when Black Friday is still ongoingthis weekend? Because these two major shopping days occur very close to one another. Many deal hunters will still be recovering from a Black Friday savings hangover by the time Cyber Monday arrives on November 26. If that's you, you'd better pop some Tylenol and hop online, because Cyber Monday deals will be coming in hot.
As for specific Cyber Monday deals, little is known at the moment, though we have gotten a few hints as to what offers will be available. For instance, Ebay is doing a "Cyber Weekend" sale, with deals on things like a Microsoft Surface Pro and a 65" 4K smart TV starting on Saturday, November 24. Additional deals will kick off on Monday, Novmeber 26, including on a Fallout 76 Xbox One X bundle, though the price has yet to be announced. You can find additional information in our Cyber Monday preview of the deals we already know about.
Seeing as retailers will be dropping prices on an array of products on and around Cyber Monday, it can be hard to know if you're getting the best deal possible on any given item. Below, you'll find links that will help you sort through the sales to find the biggest discounts available. We'll continue adding more links as new sales are announced, making this the go-to page for your Cyber Monday needs.
To help prepare you for the craziness of Cyber Monday, we've looked at what happened last year to help set expectations for this year's online shopping day.
